Elliven Spa

Went for a mini pedicure and was pleasantly surprised with how cute the place is! Was able to get in the same day with Jamie, she was very nice and did a great job. Will definitely go back!

I love this place! They give the best facials in the city! If you are looking to relax and unwind this is the place to go. Very clean and the staff is very friendly.

Love Elliven! I get regular mani /​pedis at Elliven and every time I know I’m spoiling myself. Always clean and punctual. Great girls working here, always know where to go when I need a treat!

Agreeing with a Previous Poster in this salon is VERY unprofessional and unfriendly, also not helpful.
Called to schedule an appointment, the very rude and unhelpful receptionist told me that someone would CALL ME BACK that day. I never received a phone call.
Needless to say, I will not be going to this establishment nor recommending it.

Don’t waste your money here for the sake of the convenience of not driving to the city. Angela, who claimed to have 20+ years of experience, bleached my hair after I specifically told her not to and then convinced me to buy extensions. After six weeks, she was supposed to take them out and redo my roots. Instead she decided to bleach my roots with them still attached. They were attached with copper beads. Yep, the copper reacted with the bleach and… Burned my hair. When I was taken to the wash bowl and shampooed most of the hair that had extensions attached ended up in the wash bowl. When the girl who washed my hair called Angela over to see what happened she grabbed the wads of hair and acted like it was no big deal. She then reattached everything that fell out and never said a word. It wasn’t until the next day, after my shower, when a dozen extensions again broke off. I examined the back of my head in the mirror and was horrified. I started to panic and cry. I hopped in my car and drove to the salon. When Angela and Ashley, the owner, finally came in after their yoga class, I was told that I was eating too much protein and that was what caused my hair to break off!!! Angela offered to put the extensions back in… not kidding. She also gave me some free shampoo and conditioner. I spent over $ 1000.00 on the hair and the procedure to to attach the extensions not to mention the maintenance. Ashley never spoke of a refund and never called me to see why I cancelled all of my future appointments. It has been almost a year now… I am finally getting to a point where my hair is no longer an embarrassment. I have verbally warned everyone I know. I cannot believe how unprofessional this place is and how poorly they handled my hair. This is supposed to be their area of expertise! The hairdressers were all very unprofessional and gossiped about their clients. They have a clientele who pays a lot of money for their services but they don’t act like a high class salon. I was fortunate to find a place that is superb and offers a discreet and professional service. I will never go back. Be warned.

This place is great! My hair grows quick, so I need to go every other week or so. I’m bad at making appointments, but they are always helpful when I call and are usually able to get me in for an appointment same day. Morgan cuts my hair and does a fantastic job. Everyone here is friendly and treat the customers right, from the owner to the person sweeping up hair, all very professional. I have also had facials and massages here and would highly recommend both. The only negative would be that there is sometimes a lack of parking, usually during lunch/​dinner hours, mostly due to douchebags flocking to The Bottleshop for shitty food. More on that in another review. Go to Elliven spa and enjoy yourself!

Both alumni to the Cystic Fibrosis of Western PA Chapter «50 Finest» program, I truly enjoyed co-​hosting an event at her spa during the summer of 2013. With areas designated for hair stylists, manicurist and even more advanced serviced (massage, facials, body wraps, etc.), Elliven Spa is definitely a one-​stop, competitive and full-​service pampering service in Pittsburgh’s Bridgeville neighborhood. During our event, guests were treated to manicures/​pedicures while sipping on tasty treats and beverages by the friendly staff of Elliven.
Following this event, I gave a dear friend a gift card for her 30^th birthday to pamper herself at Elliven. A fan of what she experienced, you too should head over to Elliven and book an appointment today!

Maybe a little pricey but beyond worth it! The customer service is above and beyond! You’ll never want to leave.

I recently started getting my hair colored at Elliven Spa. We talked about color and I am happy to say I got exactly what I wanted! I now am getting my nails done as well. The way they do nails is excellent. No stress on your natural nail and they last. Thank you Elliven Spa!

Unprofessional. Came for a fire and ice hot stone massage treatment scheduled for 10am. Arrived at 10:05am and the receptionist stayed on the phone for several minutes while we waited. When the masseuse came out she states we can’t do your treatment because you were late. I explained that the receptionist was on the phone. She refused to do the service and offered to do something else instead… or give a gift card to come back. I am going to save myself the aggravation and avoid this unprofessional staff.

I went to Elliven Spa for the first time this week with a girlfriend for a pedicure. Upon walking into the spa, which is very neat and clean and smells wonderful, I was greeted by the hostess and offered a glass of sangria, chardonnay, chablis, etc. It was awesome! I went for the sangria which was delicious. We waited under five minutes and were shown to our chairs, picked out our nail color from the incredibly organized color wall, as well as picked out our scent for the bath salts (I went with mango coconut). Kate did my pedicure and she was AMAZING. If you are going to schedule, definitely request her. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. When we were running low on our sangria, another worker came over and filled up our glasses. It was such a fun girls night and we both made our next appointments before we left. I live about 45 minutes from here BUT I will drive that far once a month for a superior pedicure. I can’t wait to try more of their services. We did also find out that they use all green products, organic, vegan, etc. which is right up my alley!

Best spa in town. What ever you need to relax or look your best… they have it!
