When I first moved here I thought the closest coffee shop were run of the mill big business shops. When I discovered Source I was extremely happy and only sad I had not discovered it sooner. The coffee they serve is always fresh and delicious. The customer service is awesome and they never fail to create a welcoming environment.

The Americano was VERY watered down. The ricotta toast was good, the honey cinnamon not so much it was very dry. I would come back because it’s next door and the atmosphere is nice.

This is a five star coffee joint, no contest. Plenty of breakfast choices for everyone and all are exceptional. If I’m having coffee I have to have a quality cup. I can’t waste time on the cheap or sissy stuff. If you are like me, this is the best place to go as far as I’m concerned. Great service and friendly people, both employees and customers. See for yourself. Enjoy.

Several chain options in loose leaf as well as concentrate. Coffee culture is alive and well so that too is a perk. Laptops dot the tables, working freelance vibe but nice music and food items too. For Fairfield County this is in my top five cafes. Neighborhood is only downside! Not a lot to offer outside café and local service providers.

A real gem in Bridgeport. Great coffee and atmosphere. Came to relax and meet with a few people and will return again.

Great coffee– I can’t emphasize enough how amazing and deep their cold brew is. Pastries leave something to be desired. Specifically, filling and price. We loved their s’mores pop tart, but it rang up for $ 4.50 and had no filling but a scant scattering of chocolate chips. Homemade desserts are amazing, but this just disappointed.

Quick, knowledgeable and friendly service as well as a delicious iced vanilla late! The flavored they use(hazelnut, vanilla, etc) are real ingredients not the garbage syrups you get at the big chain coffee spots.

At last. An excellent cup of coffee to be had. In the search for coffee, well sourced and made with care, this is the place. Upon entering we were greeted by the barista. Great start. We took some time to look at the menu, she offered us help and answered a couple of questions. My husband enquired about teas, a good selection to chose from. He chose camomile and myself a cappuccino. We were told we could be seated and she would bring it to us. Table and chairs clean and well arranged with local magazine and reading material on the table. Did not take long and we had our beverages. Tea in nice glass pot and my coffee was hot, perfectly foamed. I would recommend this coffeehouse anytime. You may ask why four stars. I omit the fifth for the lack of food but was informed there will soon be light breakfasts etc. Returned a week later and yes food was in. Ordered breakfast. Some tweaking needed but good anyhow. Will definitely go back and now I give another star

Really enjoyed this new coffeehouse. The atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable. If you are looking for a place with a lot of work space for computers etc, then this is the place. The coffee is outstanding and their fresh muffins are very nice. I would have liked to see a greater variety of pastries. All in all, a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy coffee and fellowship with friends.

Source is one of those places that makes me so happy to live in Black Rock. I feel like it’s my version of Cheers. And the coffee is fabulous. Sometimes I get an old fashioned drip, but I am a sucker for their inventive and delicious drinks of the month. The lavender latte has been my favorite by far, but nothing has disappointed me here. Never bitter, always smooth. I also appreciate that they have many sweetener and dairy alternative options, including simple syrup and raw sugar, almond and soy milks. Courtney and staff are so friendly and they know their coffee — and a lot about where it comes from. I love their attention to sustainability — they incentivize bringing your own reusable mug with a «BYOM» discount. Every drink is crafted with care and love, so be patient. It’s worth it.

Would love to see them do well. Suggestion is to make it more cozy though. Please add a chair or two or perhaps a couch. The large communal tables alone are a bit austere and uninviting. Croissants from Balthazaar are a plus!
