The New York Hypnosis Center is a welcoming and relaxing place for our clients to pursue their personal growth while achieving their goals. We have offices in Briarwood Queens.

Client Centered Approach:

Our hypnotists work with individual clients on a one on one basis always looking to help the client connect to their own inner power by finding the answers to their challenges within themselves. Whether your issues are fears, worries, stress, weight, smoking or self development, we come to our sessions believing that our clients have within themselves, the inner wisdom to both identify and resolve the issues and problems they face. It is through a process of self-​Discovery using hypnosis, that we assist our clients in finding what might either be standing in their way or holding them back.

Meet the Business Owner

Elizabeth Cohen C.

Business Owner

Elizabeth Cohen, LMSW, CASACT, C.H.t, is a licensed social worker, utilizing hypnotherapy to help clients find their inner power. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The New School University in 2012. Then, she went on to earn her Master of Social Work, LMSW, and CASAC-​T from C.W. Post, Long Island University in 2014.

Elizabeth has been a Board Certified Hypnotist through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (I.A.C.T.) since 2003. She had the opportunity to study hypnotherapy with the highly acclaimed Paul Aurand, M. Ht, and Barbara Klink, M. Ht, at the Holistic Healing Center in Chestnut Ridge, NY.

Elizabeth devoted numerous hours volunteering at Safe Horizons, an organization within the criminal court system that assists women challenged by domestic violence. Currently, she is a Social Worker at Faith Mission Crisis Center, in Jamaica, NY, assisting clients battling addiction.
