Briarcliff Center for Esthetic Dentistry

My experience here was not the best but I’m giving three stars because I did not go here for very long and never had a cavity. I came here several years ago for cleanings which were average. However, the dentist added bonding to a tooth that chipped and it was the worst bonding job I’ve ever had. It took double the amount of time as my old dentist, the process seemed a bit dated and came off after a few months. In addition, I was told I had «pre cavities», not cavities and he wanted to sand all my teeth down?! Of course, for a ridiculously expensive price. Needless to say I went back to my old dentist (who is very expensive and far but excellent) and they fixed the botched bonding job (hasn’t fallen off since) and guess what… I still have never had a cavity and it’s been over 5 years!

Great environment and friendly staff! Chris at the front desk is incredibly helpful and is the go-​to lady that you’ll speak to at the front desk regarding appointment reminders, dental insurance claims, etc. Ruth Ann does an amazing job as a hygienist and Dr. T is thorough and has a quirky sense of humor that is very warming.

Once again another awesome dental experience with Dr Teitelbaum and his team. I almost can’t wait for my next appointment, this one was painless and fun!

I checked and yep I had a new hole in a perfectly good tooth. I called Briarfcliff dental on Monday got an appointment mon pm they diagnosed the problem fixed it got my bill I was a happy camper again

Dr Teitelbaum is known by his peers and colleagues to be professional and knowledgeable. I personally have know him for 30 years, but you don’t have to know him for more than 30 seconds to realize you are talking to a good guy. There are many capable technicians in the dental field but Dr T combines advanced training, dental DNA (both his parents were highly respected members of the field) along with a caring manner, making him the obvious choice for Westchester residents.

Seeing Dr. Michael Teitelbaum is the worst dental experience I have had yet! First of all, the location is not in any way a professional environment, (which should have been my first red flag), but I didn’t want to judge by appearance, so I wanted to give it a chance. Well, it gets worse once you step into this old broken down home which he uses for his office and exam rooms. ALL of the rooms, from the patient waiting room, to the exam rooms are FILTHY! Even his own lab coat looked like it was never washed! I’m afraid I caught something from being there and having him touch my mouth with his instruments, even though he claimed they were clean… ick!!! His rates are outrageously high and he didn’t even fix my partial. I feel like I just donated $ 200 to him. He wouldn’t refund my money and refused to make the required modifications. This is a very greedy person and his business should be shut down for dishonesty or simply because of being an environmental hazard or patient safety risk.
