Amazing place. The food is delicious and fresh. I love their pancakes. The rooms are nice and comfy. Great beds. I was asleep in no time and so comfortable. They have so much to do outside with activities. The atv rides are awesome and so much fun. The hiking trails are beautiful. I saw the most stunning sunset ever with a 360 degree view. Its so peaceful and quiet. Great place for families and couples. They have a rope course and playground for my little ones and the lodge even has a play room. Very romantic also they have a private sauna and jacuzzi. They have a custom built sled hill and huge outdoor fire pit with logs to sit on. Definitely coming back and would recommend this place to everyone.

I stayed at Summit Mountain Lodge and Resorts for a team offsite and absolutely loved the place! The scenery, both at the lodge and en route to the lodge, is breathtaking. Once you get to the lodge, you can gaze across endless miles of brightly colored landscapes. The lodge has a fleet of ATVs which the owner uses to take visitors out on exciting back country tours around the nearby mountains, including up to several scenic viewpoints that are so incredible that it felt unreal; it felt like I was staring at a life-size mountain backdrop. Sitting on the summit of a mountain, the sunsets are phenomenal. After a long day outdoors enjoying activities such as hiking, mountain biking, ATV rides, archery, and paintball, you can warm up in the cozy, inviting, and beautifully decorated lodge. Comfy couches and chairs welcome friendly discussion or the perfect seat to watch your favorite team on a large TV mounted over the fireplace. If you need to check in on your fantasy football league, they offer free WiFi throughout the lodge. If you’ve got a few more bruises from paintball than you want to admit, try out the hot tub on the deck followed by the sauna. The accommodations far exceeded my expectations. They offer several yurt sizes(some with their own bathroom, others with a shared bath house), a bunk-loft area with shared bathroom, and 12 hotel-like rooms(singles, doubles, and triples) each with their own bathroom. I stayed in one of the two-person hotel rooms and enjoyed it. The room was a bit small for two double beds, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. The linens were soft and inviting. The room and bathroom both had supplemental heaters in them but, despite the chilly weather, we didn’t need either. Each room had a tasteful and unique décor. The service at the lodge was outstanding. The family that owns and runs the place went out of their way to make us feel at home. Of course, being on top of a mountain has its downsides. The last two legs of the journey, on Dry Lakes Road and up the SML Resorts driveway, are all gravel. It had snowed the day before we arrived so while the road was mostly clear it was also muddy and icy and we found ourselves fishtailing a little bit. We also found the altitude a bit hard to cope with. Most of the folks I was with are used to altitudes near sea level. At almost 2 miles up, most of us found ourselves getting winded after a flight of stairs(there’s less oxygen at higher altitudes). Another downside, which can be a pro or con, is that the lodge wireless connection and access to a cellular network were both limited. The WiFi connection was slow. Cellular coverage seemed to be limited to Verizon customers, and even that was limited. If you’re up there for a retreat, it’s probably for the best, but it also means you’ll have limited access to emergency services if you’re exploring on your own. There’s no doubt in my mind that the pros outweigh the cons. The cons aren’t really even cons; they add to the adventure. I really enjoyed my time at Summit Mountain Lodge Resorts. I highly recommend planning a vacation or team outing there. You won’t regret it. PROS: — Outstanding service — Breathtaking scenery — Plenty of group or single activities available(hiking, mountain biking, skiing, snowmobiling, ATVs, archery, and paintball, to name a few) — Satellite TV service in most of the rooms, including the main lodge room — Various unique accommodations available(Yurts, «hotel» rooms, bunk house) — Hot tub — Sauna — Panoramic sunsets — Easy access to Dixie National Forest CONS: — Slow WiFi — Poor cellular network availability(seemed limited to Verizon) — Long drive from Salt Lake City or Las Vegas(closest major airports) — Gravel road going up to the lodge(4-wheel drive recommended) — The high altitude can be hard to cope with for a couple days for those not used to the thinner air

I went here for a work off-site and it was ‘awesome’ in the dictionary sense of the word. The most beautiful place I’ve ever been with amazing views of colorful canyons. The owners were incredibly accommodating and practically bent over backwards to help a very picky bunch. Paintballing was great in the woods. ATV riding was amazing. Very highly recommended. I hope to go back again.

I was there for a weekend and it was just as awesome as it can be. All the crew are ones of the nicest people I’ve met on lodges and hotels and they were really concerned about the well being of everybody. All the efforts that were made(and they were not little) for us to really enjoy our stay were really appreciated for all of the team and helped us to have a amazing weekend. I totally recommend to stay at SML there and check this out. It was totally worth it. And don’t even think about leaving the place without a ATV ride. It’s beautiful out there. Thanks a lot guys for one of the most amazing weekends I’ve ever had! Hope to go back and see you soon again!

I have planned several corporate retreats, large off-site functions, and destination gatherings in the past and I cannot say enough about what a truly wonderful experience it was to work with the staff of the Summit Mountain Lodge. They were organized, helpful, organized, enthusiastic, and understanding of our 50+ person groups needs and went above and beyond our expectations in accommodating our every whim. Before we even got there, we knew that we were in good hands. Once we arrived, we were in for even more of a treat. The scenic vistas are breathtaking. A beautiful atmosphere inside and out. The food was fantastic, the large fire place, comfy couches, hot tub, and sauna is so inviting. The beds were fantastically comfortable and everything was very clean and updated. The owners, their family, and staff were even more wonderful in person. No detail was left untouched and anything we needed was promptly and cheerfully taken care of. They even helped us to arrange a birthday surprise and cake for one of our teammates at the last minute which made his celebration even more special. I truly hope to come back to the Summit Mountain Lodge again soon. It’s a great place for business, but also would be a wonderful place for a family reunion or destination wedding. I cannot stress how much the owners will help you to make your dream into a reality — they work magic and I thank them so much for it!

What a fantastic place! We spent two nights at this lodge and it was just superb. The view was fantastic, the hang out areas where huge, the kitchen had everything we needed including a walk in freezer, and the weather was perfect. Its a great place if you want to have a family reunion, a wedding, or just want to plain get away from it all. We highly recommend it. Enjoy!
