Dr Gary W Cockrell

Thinking about a bunionectomy? I thought about it for 25 years and finally decided to do something. Dr. Cockrell was recommended by a friend who had the procedure done a few years ago. I am now 3 weeks post surgery and have been virtually pain free throughout the entire process. Uncomfortable at times but nothing you wouldn’t expect. Dr. Cockrell took time to discuss non surgical and surgical options with me prior to surgery. He made sure I understood what I was getting into — no weight bearing on the foot post surgery, get a knee scooter etc. He spent time with my husband post surgery explaining how the surgery went and what we should expect for a couple of days post surgery. I was off of the strong pain meds within 3 days. Dr. Cockrell gets high marks for professionalism and surgical technique/​abilities.
