I had lost my phone at Walmart on Sat, Dec 20th. The VZ staff were wonderful in trying to assist with FindMyPhone app but without success (my phone was not activated in the app). They placed a suspension at my request.
Luckily, another shopper found my phone an hour later, tried to contact me but unable to reach me, and reached a family member of mine through her phone (thank goodness family member answered her phone).
This lady brought my phone to VZ in Brenham and I later picked it up. VZ employees were shocked and stated I was only the 3rd person to be reunited with a lost phone in over 5 years.
Any phone should be automatically synced with FindMyPhone in the future.
