I love the chicken, and after the recent renovation, I went inside to dine for the first time. I was so impressed by the young employees here. They were helpful, friendly and super accommodating to me and my disabled husband. The first young man held the door for us in spite of our slow progress, and insisted it was his pleasure and would gladly hold it as long as we needed. Later when I apologized for the mess of crumbs we left behind, the young lady said it was her job and she was glad to have the work! What?! In a world where people complain about fast-food employees and young people in general, these kids are stellar!

I will never go back. Three times I have been and three times the sides have tasted terrible. The second time I ordered blackened and the lady at the drive through said it would be 5 minutes, I agreed and paid then pulled around to wait for what ended up being 20 minutes. Today I went through the drive through and the worker(Michelle) was rude and couldn’t do basic math(I asked to pay some in cash and the rest in card). Since she looked dumbfounded I paid the entire amount with my card. Their card reader struggled despite the funds available. I took a bite and my chicken tasted funny. I looked down and saw it was uncooked. I didn’t have time to return then so I called. No one answered so I began to leave a message during which someone picked up. I asked for a refund due to undercooked chicken and I was informed rudely that I must bring the product and receipt back to get a refund.

Each time my food is served hot, place is clean and my order is correct. It’s a fast food chain.

The food here is your traditional Pop Eyes. It’s what I expect of Pop Eyes. Every time I go in they’ve run out of something. From sauces to chicken strips. The employees seem distracted. On more than one occasion, they’ve gotten my order wrong and then blamed me by saying I ordered it that way. Really?! How does a 3 piece chicken strips sound like shrimp? But they do fix it. So, they get 3 stars for being eh.

Absolutely wretched. The fish and shrimp had no shrimp in the box and a piece of the fish had a bite taken out of it. Even the cat won’t eat it and the cat loves fish. I like the Popeye’s franchise, just not this one. I was too far away to take it back by the time I opened the takeout lunch.

The reason $ 15/hr should not happen. We ordered identical meals, and to speed up the process we said both are identical, so here’s the order. The guy said he could only do one at a time, so he ended up asking everything again for the second meal. It was annoying. So, we pull up to the window, and they say, it will be longer than usual wait for the food so pull around. This is another thing I hate. If I order thru a drive-thru window, I’d like my food there so I can go. This happens all the time with this location. So, we park, and they bring out part of the food and say bye. We check it and notice some of the food isn’t there. We have to actually get out of the car and go back in. They tell us we thought you only ordered this. It’s like check the receipt and order then! geez. All this could have been avoided if they had any brains.

Popeyes food is great but considering it’s a huge fast food chain it’s not guaranteed their service is the same everywhere. My friend and I ordered two of the same meals. Simple order request and yet only one of us received the type of chicken we wanted. Also, it was pretty pricey for the little food we got. Before this visit I haven’t gone to a Popeyes in a while and maybe it’s always been that pricey for small amounts of food, but that was a bummer.

Hubby and I LOVE popeyes and are VERY happy to see em in Kitsap county. And we have come here enough to know many of the associates that work here, and have not coma across a person who seemed negative or not nice. But this location is not our fave, to get the BEST of popeyes, Tacoma is the way to go! But that’s a bit to drive. they REALLY butter their biscuits! The only thing is when they are getting close to closing, their are(understandably) lower on product. If only they’d be able to go that extra mile and make a last min order. oh well, that’s a fast food joint for yah. We’ll still come here as long as we crave Popeyes!(or fried chicken in general)

I come here occasionally. The food is okay. The staff has been unfriendly every single time that I have visited. They are usually out of one of the side orders.

The food is good but I don’t think I will be coming back. I am new to this side of town and tonight was my second visit. The first visit was drive-thru and I ordered a 2 piece meal with mild chicken. ONE piece was spicy. I got no spoon for my mashed potatoes and ended up using my biscuit as a utensil. Second visit was worse. Ordered three meals plus a kids meal. Spent $ 26 and the two peach pies that I added for $ 2 was not included. I noticed the unfriendly sign indicating that all refunds and exchanges require a receipt AND the food. Well I got neither so how does that work? Fortunately I took this meal home so I was able to use my own spoon this time. And my own napkins because I didn’t get those either. Pretty lame and I wouldn’t care if they followed the Port Orchard store out of business.

I think there chicken is much better then KFC’s chicken. I come here when I am in the neighborhood, which isn’t very often. We had one in Port Orchard but, it went out of business. I regret having not gone to the Port Orchard one very often because, the chicken is so good. This one has good service and it’s never crowded. I look for ward to returning.

I love Popeye’s in general. I didn’t love *this* Popeye’s in particular. Maybe it’s because they’re on the edge of the empire and the restaurant is run a little differently than the others. The over-salting is what kills it for me. Too bad… Ah well, there’s other Popeye’s out there.
