I was excited to finally find a breakfast place that was NOT a chain… I think I will stick with the chain. It was probably the worst service I have ever had in my life. I couldn’t bring myself to tip… which I have NEVER done. They didn’t even add up my bill!!! Thank god I have a calculator on my phone. I had to add the tax on as well!!! I will go back if they get a whole new wait staff.

Last time I was at Pat’s, both my mother and I ordered quiche. It was nothing short of atrocious. I think they melted cheese over it to conceal the fact that it was a week old, dried out and rancid tasting. The crust was especially bad. Both my mom and I ate a few bites, and gave up. I told the waiter it really wasn’t worth $ 8.50 each.(Yes, for one piece of quiche, nothing else on the plate.) She gave me a sour look, and said she would check with the manager. When she came back, she said the manager would only take off one dollar each. That is absolutely the last time I will ever go back to Pat’s. They had no business even serving that tripe, much less insisting it was worth charging for.

My boyfriend and I went to breakfast on a Saturday morning not very busy. We waited to be seated, then waited a few more min for water and coffee service. What I noticed the most was the dirt in the corners and on the floors. The food and service was not as good as I remembered«in the day» when my mother and I use to go there for breakfast. So sadly disappointed. I think it was the lack of overall cleanliness of the place that bothered me the most. Zoe

My family and I used to frequent this place ‘back in the day’ when it was called«Pat’s Cookie Jar» and it was 1⁄3 the size it is today. But, sadly, this place isn’t the way that it used to be. The service has gone way down hill(you don’t see the same waitstaff that used to be there for so many years) and the food is no where near the same level of quality that it once was. It seems like in the haste to serve more people, the management has cut some corners, to the detriment of the overall food quality and experience. Nowadays, the food just lacks that homemade touch that once set it apart from chains like Family Pancake House and IHOP. It’s the end of an era. Very sad.

Great comfort food! Had the pleasure to try this place out for the first time a few weeks ago. Went there for breakfast and it was delicious! The service was great and I love the fact that they make their own bread and pastries. Had a skillet meal, w/lots of potatoes, cheese, and all the fixins. Tasted like a home cooked meal! Very good! Can’t wait to go back!
