China Wok

Don’t expect anything too great, but it’s good enough to order again of you don’t feel like leaving the house and want Chinese. They deliver, their staff is super friendly and they’re fairly quick on their deliveries. A standout at the China Wok are their cream cheese won tons, which have cream cheese and Carmel iced onions wrapped in won tons and deep fried, served with a sweet and sour sauce. They’re pretty darn tasty.

Was looking for a Chinese food place that delivered and I’m so glad I found China Wok! The food is always delicious, especially the Honey Walnut Shrimp! We’ve only done delivery, usually takes 45 – 60 minutes but we are just barely within their delivery radius. Love this place, I recommend them for sure!

The China Wok made pretty good American Chinese. Wasn’t as expensive as I thought it was going to be based on previous reviews. We both had the General Tso chicken, BBQ pork, pork fried rice, and chow mein. Wasn’t disappointed, but wasn’t wowed either. Nice safe restaurant.

I love this place. Their food is delicious and they have huge portions. It’s priced well. Delivery takes awhile but it’s better than having to leave the house.

I’ve gotten take out multiple times and my opinion is that this is American Chinese food down to the T. It’s fried, it’s bad for you and it’s great. This is specially true for Bremerton.

China Wok appears Family operated for many years. Average décor. Food is average to above average. Hot and Sour soup is consistently worth the trip! You’ll notice that egg rolls, while very good, have a Vietnamese twist to them. Back story is Grandpa hung out in Vietnam during Chinese turmoil. Fried rice is above average. Work your way through the usual Chinese/​American dishes and you’ll do ok. Portions are good. Best bet. Pay reduced price at lunch, box your leftovers for Dinner. Portions on plates at your table seem to be greater than portions ordered to go. This place is overall above average Chinese food and won’t bust your wallet.

Just walked out of this place!!! I ordered the schewan beef and my girlfriend order the beef broccoli and it was extremely salty, but my girlfriend decided to pay the bill. At least they could have said sorry and asked us if would like to choose something different. This place is for people who love salt.

Came here to visit family and decided to go out for some Chinese food. This place has great food, great service and great price! Ordered cream cheese wontons, shrimp fry rice and happy family and omg… they were delicious! Fry rice was the bomb! I couldn’t find such good fry rice where Im from! I’ll have to find an excuse to visit again.

Been here twice. It’s okay. I give 3 stars because the price is good for the amount of food you’re getting. Definitely enough to feed yourself twice. The food is pretty inconsistent. The first time we ordered the cream cheese wontons it was just breading and cream cheese which was delicious. The second time we ordered them they had big pieces of onions in the cream cheese. And the wontons on the combination platter from the same order didn’t have onions. Strange. The combination platter also stated it had egg rolls, when they were spring rolls. Thought it was a simple mistake until I realized the egg roll I ordered was a spring roll as well. Delivery took about 45 mins which was fine because it was free! Second time we ate there we picked up the food. I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee when we got there and it took 10 minutes. And it was tiny! (Think tall from starbucks) And $ 3.50…but delicious.

Okay, there is not much choices here in Bremerton and I’ve pretty much tried most of the «Chinese american» restaurants here. Well, this place surpass others in terms of quantity and taste. First time was delivery because I am a lazy person after moving to bremerton and most dine in service to me was always… meh…The delivery took half hour to 45 min which was standard for Chinese deliveries, but the food was hot, tasteful and lots of it! That’s a plus for me.
Now, after couple of deliveries, I’ve decided to dine in with friends. Friendly service and the food is even better dine in than delivery. Waiter always check on our table and make sure we are taken care of. Overall satisfaction! Will be coming again!

The first time I went there the food was really good but the service was horrible, they took my order, forgot about it until someone saw me still sitting there, retook me order and I eventually got served almost an hour later. But ever since then the appetizers have been pretty good, but the main course is always too bland and greasy.

It took 2 hours to get to my house they kept saying they were going to have my order out in 15 mins than 20 mins than finally it just left –_​_​_​_​– I was so hungry by the time it got here and it wasn’t that impressive of quality but there was a lot of it !

95% off the time it’s great food! They even deliver to the east side of Bremerton. The only place I order Chinese food from, always fast friendly delivery! Great place.

I eat here all the time, and I’ve ordered in person, over the phone and today online
and everytime. the food is amazing and the portions are huge. The first time we ordered here we ended up with days of leftovers. This is my favorite Chinese food place in Bremerton and they deliver all over the city.

Food here is fantastic. One of the only places in Bremerton to have tofu on their menu and they will put it in any dish. Orange tofu (with real dried orange slices), general tso tofu, and sweet and sour tofu (that isn’t neon orange but fresh and delicious). I’ve never been disappointed here.

A quick update.
Having been back a few times a few things I noticed worth mentioning.
First, Hunan Fish. This alone is worth writing about. Wow. I have found a new favorite dish. Seriously. I had never had it, or even seen it on another menu, and I wasn’t going to try it. However, it did get ordered and I sampled a bite… and was hooked!
I like it with an order of Honey Walnut Chicken. The two flavors play off each other well. Yum.
Next, I am not a fan of bubble tea. Every time I have tried it I have had bad reactions. I don’t know what is put in it, typically, but just no. The bubble tea these folks make I like and don’t have some weird allergic reaction to. So a triple yes to these folks.
Give them a try and don’t stick to dishes you know. Explore what they have.

Don’t even bother with this place. After an hour of waiting I was told they didn’t see the order and they’re «too busy» and it’d be at least another 20 minutes. And she didn’t even bother to apologize.

Okay so I totally do not know what people are talking about. Let me start off with the fact that they were very nice and helpful on the phone when I ordered my delivery order. Next the gentleman that brought me my order was very nice, plus ten minutes earlier than what they had said. That may not seem like a lot to some but it was huge for someone who was very hungry. Next the portions were huge! After eating my fill, it didn’t even look like I made a dent. I had an individual combo number five with potstickers added on; by the way there was 12 of them and a iced tea.(had to order 20 dollars worth to have free delivery, which seems worth it to me.) the quality of the food was great, to the point of it was like I was dining in not in my own home. Tastes were authentic and the food was hot!
I will be ordering from them again, the only bad thing I have to say is…
The iced tea came in a container that was made of quality plastic. Even though their ad says no soup for deliveries, I think that plastic container could hold up.
