Love this place. Food is always good. Also getting a glass of wine, soup or salad and a scoop of ice cream for $ 2.50 is a great deal. This last time went with my mom — she loved the eggplant Parmesan. Wife loves the veggie lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo. I try different things each time! We have also had food catered from here for parties. Price is good and quality is excellent!

This place is good for a relaxed family style setting. The prices on their menu brochure are cheaper than their actual restaurant menus. I had already picked out what i wanted to get, their shrimp scampi pasta, which was advertised at $ 11 or $ 12(cant completely remember) on their trifold menu brochure, but when i looked at their actual menu it was $ 14+. I get that they may have thousands of them printed already and it could be a pain to white it out and change it, just be mindful of that when you see the bill. Not the best quality or flavors, you definitely get what you pay for, and i don’t mean that in a bad way. I would say give them a try! It could end up being your new family Italian dinner place!

My wife found this place through a mailer and we decided to try it. We both enjoy the food. I usually get one of the dinner combos, and for a little more will get a salad, small glass of complimentary wine, and ice cream for dessert. The portions are good size, so I make sure I go there hungry. Be prepared to wait at peak dinner times on Friday nights because this place gets crowded.

Fratellino’s is a fantastic place for great Italian food. Our server, Brigette, was very friendly and attentive. She was accommodating and had a great suggestion for our table. I have never had anything I didn’t like here. The owner, Cesar Lomeli, often checks up on tables and is very approachable. He values who you are as a customer and as a person. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, and they can also accommodate large parties in their back room. I am looking forward to dining here again and again!

We’ve been to this restaurant several times. The food is average American/Italian. We however walked out tonight due to poor service. We walked in and were told that we had to wait for a table, when there were 4 to 5 enpty tables in view. So we sat down and waited. Another couple walked in.(no reservation either) they happened to catch the owner walking by and were seated immediately. Wow. Won’t be back anytime soon.

I truly cannot say enough about this establishment! Friendly and reliable catering for a terrific price! We had 4 different trays of pasta and antipasto salad plus garlic bread. Everything came out top notch! Our work uses them several times a year. Love love love this place!!! Thank you Caesar and all of the fantastic staff!!!

I’ve eaten food from this joint a few times now and after 3 or 4 visits we have made this out go to pasta restaurant. My wife and I also decided to have Fratellino’s cater our wedding(2÷17÷2016). Everyone really enjoyed the food and we had a wonderful time gorging on the delicious pastas, salads, and other parts of the meal. We love this place and I can honestly say too much is not enough!

GREATITALIANFOOD!!! So the first time I came here the food was good. However, I wasn’t completely sure if maybe it was what I ordered(meatball casserole) that only tasted good. Then a came back a second time for lunch and completely enjoyed my lasagna. Now, here a third time, I absolutely became obsessed with their chicken marsala. The flavor was so delicious and the portion size was great! I especially love the service that they provided and it’s a great touch that some items on their menu have complimentary wine and ice cream for some entrée. Two thumbs… way, way up for Ashely!!!

If this review were for the food alone I’d give it 5 stars BUT the service just wasn’t on par. Our waitress wasn’t particularly friendly and I brought my fiancée here for his birthday on his actual birthday and we used a birthday coupon and the waitress didn’t even wish him a happy birthday… sorry for overusing the word ‘birthday’ but you get my point… Back to the food… I listened to a fellow Unilocaler and ordered the angel hair pasta with pink sauce and it was INCREDIBLE! You can make it a combo for like $ 2.50 more and it comes with a salad, garlic bread, and ice cream(HIGHLY recommend the cappuccino). I’ll definitely be back with hopefully a better service experience?

Not sure how this place was voted #1 in Orange County? After receiving a coupon in the mail, we decided to give it a try. We ordered take out. The staff was very friendly and courteous. 2 stars for the staff. The food not so good. The pasta was over cooked and had just too much olive oil. The pizza was so thick and was burnt. The crust tasted like cardboard. I’ve lived in Fullerton for 10 years and always heard nothing but great things about this place. Tried it once, never to try again. Are there no authentic Italians in North Orange County?

I am still a fan, but I just found out why the lasagna at Fratellino’s tasted different than the catered version my friend ordered. I thought she ordered from Lomeli’s/Fratellios but she really ordered from Lascari’s, Brea, no wonder it did not taste the same… still good but not as good as I remembered the Lascari’s version! Nevertheless, a few weeks ago(before I figured this all out) we ended up getting a lasagna from Fratellino’s for a recent gathering and our guests enjoyed it, service was great, and pick up was prompt. The lasagna came with garlic bread and for approximately $ 46 we served dinner for 10 people. Included in the aforementioned price we also ordered a $ 5 tub of their house made dressing for which is fantastic, and we tossed it with the greens and veggies we had already prepared at home and had a fabulous salad as well.

They were pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon with two large parties of probably 20+ why is typically a good sign. Well, the food took about 30 minutes to come out(fair enough) but then our food came out lukewarm. Spaghetti with the chicken parmiagana was served soft and the marinara was way too sweet. My mom frequents this place and our server ended up being Marcella who my mom said is rude. I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt because she kept walking away without saying please, thank you, no conversation, just drop food off and walk away. Maybe she’s busy? Nope. All her white customers got personalized service witb a smile and long, drawn-out conversations. OK. Bye felicia. I won’t be back.

Once again we have passed this restaurant many times while traveling through Brea so it was time to try it out. The first time we tried, it was packed. This time we arrived around and beat the dinner rush hour. First impression on the interior was«this place is very nicely decorated and clean». We were seated and greeted by a very nice hispanic man which kindly gave us small amounts of wine we were interested in tasting before purchasing plus he brought us water. Now comes our waitress, Mandy G. Although she took care of our needs, her service was very quick. Came by, asked us how we were doing and took off just as quick as her question came out of her mouth. Her pace the whole night while serving tables around us plus our table was FAST! I almost felt as though her kindness was forced. I will make sure next time to ask to be seated where she isn’t serving. Now onto the food, we ordered and shared the Italian sausage w/peppers served on Angel Hair pasta. The sausage was tasty, not spicy but had good flavor. Unfortunately, the sauce was a little on the sweet side for my liking. The dish didn’t have nearly enough peppers and definitely loaded with the pasta sauce. For me, too much; however for my husband he loved it so he could swipe it up with the bread. He didn’t much care for the sweetness in the sauce either. It was a bummer our garlic bread was not warm and a little on the dry side, but you do receive 4 pretty good slices. The dinners are a great deal as we paid a little more for a complete dinner is what they call it and comes with a salad or cup of soup, entrée, 4 oz pour of house white or red wine and dessert. Since my hubby and I split, this was plenty of food for us. We did purchase wine as well as received our 4 oz glass of house red wine which was just okay. Our meal was topped off by the Spumoni ice cream(you can choose from other desserts), but we love Spumoni. Once again, it was good, but not great. If you have had Old Spaghetti Factory’s Spumoni then you would feel the same about Fratellinos. Although the cherries in it were yummy, I love cherries. Oh I forgot to mention, when you are seated they bring a plate of carrot stick, peperoncinis along with ranch dressing. I really enjoyed something different when seated. You can tell it is quite a locals restaurant as well as the surrounding neighborhood. Met some sweet older, older ladies who sat across from us who visit weekly. They love, love the food and say its always top notch no matter how busy they get. Yes, it is good, but I would say its not GREAT. Cortinas in Anaheim is GREAT! We will definitely visit this establishment again just try a different waiter/waitress and a different dish plus ask for warmer bread. Because it’s all about the bread, the bread, the bread. LOL

Fratellino’s continues to impress me. The name may have changed, but the love of the business remains unchanged. I will be returning, and returning! Great food, excellent service, and a true place that I consider family.

Went for lunch this week. I saw the pic of the chicken alfredo with some veggies and it looked really good. I ordered it and alas, no veggies just fettuccine, chicken and alfredo sauce. I thought it was bland and had to add salt. We did get garlic bread which was pretty good. Service was very good and ambiance was nice. If I go there again, I’m ordering a pizza.

Sometimes I forget trying new places can lead remorse. It was 8:30 on a Monday and our favorite Italian place«Vinny’s» was closed. We were planning to try the new hot dog place on brea bvld but being new they had already closed for the night. We noticed Frantellino’s was still opened so we jump on the opertunity to get our Italian fix on. We walked in and it was quite busy for a Monday night. We sat down and browsed the menu and to our delight it was nicely priced and they had plates to share. We were greeted by our waitress who called everybody«sweetie» or «hun» this was quite inoying. We ordered the combo 1 which comes with ravioli, lasagna, and spaghetti & meatballs. We also order a salad and a small pepperoni pizza.(Combo came with house wine, it was awful) I would compare our dinner to a buffet, frozen and from a package. The pasta was undercooked and far from fresh the sauce taste like store bought with spices added, but the pizza was THEWORST. I would rather sooner eat pizza from chuck-e-cheese than eat Frantellino’s pizza again. We were SO disappointed, I couldn’t believe how could a restaurant take pride in serving the worst Italian food in Brea? The end of our meal is what brings a 2 star review to a 1 star. Our waitress informs us we get a scoop of ice cream with our meal. We ordered rainbow sherbet and within 30 seconds she brings out a prescooped, frostbiten, lump of ice cream. This stuff was hard as a rock. We just sat there in disbelief, laughing at the experience. We will not be back here, we will stick to good old«Vinny’s» for our Italian fixes.

Good lunch, good service, not crowded. — - — Chicken fettuccine alfredo with fresh veggies. Sauce was a little runny, but pasta and veggies were perfectly cooked — Lasagna was great. — Garlic bread was awesome! Recommend this place anytime.

The chicken piccata dish(light lemony sauce with moist, lightly breaded chicken seasoned with fresh thyme) and service were fantastic. There was so much food, I had my soup, the garlic bread, and leftover boxed. Now, I’ve got lunch for tomorrow! Previously had the veal piccata which was equally delicious. Not sure I can order anything else now. Well, maybe the other piccata dishes. :)

i’ve been going to Lomeli’s for years, so when they shifted gears here, I was worried it would change too much. I do see a difference. The prices are lower, there is a few new items and the recipes are a bit different. I like this new direction. Their scallop and scampi piccata was very good, yet only $ 15. Yeah, we’ll be back. I however thought the eggplant parmigiana was a bit under cooked. Perhaps it was too thick.
