Dr. Kang is very knowledgeable about the needs of my children’s teeth. He is gentle with my girls and is excellent about explaining each step, so that they understand what is happening. This eases a lot of the fear that they have going to the dentist. My daughter has talked about dentist visits with her other friends. Although her friends’ dentists apparently give better prizes, my daughter still feels her dentist is the best!

I know punctuality can be a problem with kids, but our appointment was cancelled for being 15 minutes late. They left a message at 10:15am informing our 10am appointment was canceled. We arrived a few minutes later and my daughter was disappointed. I work with doctors and we don’t cancel appointments for being 15 min late.

I love this place. I have been taking my kids for almost 4 years now. We brave a 30 minute drive for them! This has been their first and only dentist. They have been almost 100% covered on insurance, so I do not have prices to compare.
I try to go early because my kids enjoy the waiting room so much, but still have had VERY little wait time. There are TV’s on the ceilings above evry chair, amazing safari decorations, a foosball table, prizes for the kids (and their patient siblings), and best of all??? Our dentist was on Doc McStuffins!!! How cool is that!!!
They have always been very gentle, never excessive, but always thorough. I strongly recommend the whole office staff from front to back!

We had our first appointment here today. We met with Dr Leung. My daughter is 2 years old and all of the staff were very child’s friendly. Initially my daughter was hesitant but she warmed up quickly. Dr Leung was very thorough and patient. My daughter was cooperative with the exam and Dr Leung suggested we come back another day for X-​rays and cleaning so as not to give my daughter too much in one day. The cost was $ 60. I was told X-​rays would be $ 38 which is about average for a cash patient in the area. The receptionist was also helpful in suggesting how we can split up clan in and X-​rays to be able to budget accordingly. They also have a childrens play area, TVs on the ceiling, and they give the children a prize once tey arw done. Overall, we had a great experience and I would highly recommend brea pediatric dental.

My daughters have been going to Brea Pediatric Dentists for a few years now. I have never had a bad experience. They were very patient with my youngest daughter who required nitrous oxide for some work. As she got older, they worked with her and she was comfortable enough not to need it for further work. I have never had to wait more than 5 – 10 minutes and making appointments are easy. The staff is very friendly and the dentists take the time to explain everything and make recommendations. The cost is dependent on my insurance, which to date I have changed once, but never so much that it would make me go anywhere else! I highly recommend this dentist’s office to anyone with children.

We’ve been with Brea Pediatric for several years and they are absolutely wonderful when working with our autistic son. The two words that come to mind in our case are «patient» and «cautious.» We have recommended them outright to all parents in my son’s class. I see a few reviews saying they are expensive. I wouldn’t know because they’ve never given me a reason to shop around and the comfort and care they’ve shown my child over the years is worth a few extra bucks.

Okay so I took my two boys to this dentist for their first dentist appointment and had a really good experience. The reason I give them four stars is because they are definitely on the expensive side.
So for their second appointment I decided to go to another childrens dentist office (which got really good reviews on Unilocal) because they got good reviews but also the price was right. They did not take xrays of my youngest but instead to pictures with a magnifying camera, reassuring me that this was almost as good as an actual xrays. They told me they found 6 cavities and recommended putting him under to get the work done. Needless to say I got a second opinion.
I went back to Brea Pediatric Dentistry and they took the time and finesse to get my 3 yr old to take xrays which showed no cavities.
I recommend Brea Pediatric Dental practice. They know how to work with kids and make the experience as pleasant as possible. They also do a thorough check up and show you potential trouble spots.
