What a great meal! The tacos were awesome! Ingredients were of great quality and the service was excellent. Will be going back the next time I’m in Branson.

Fantastic tacos, especially the pork and chorizo(which wasn’t greasy, at all). Like some of the best tacos we’ve ever had but heads up — it’s authentic(soft corn tortillas, no cheese/tomatoes/sour cream). The service was slow, but we came prepared for that, so it wasn’t a problem for us. Skip the salsa — not much flavor. The queso was good, but took a while to get to the table since this is a REAL Mexican restaurant and chips/queso isn’t a «real» Mexican dish. We will be back any time we’re in town.

Very authentic tacos. They have all sorts of varieties of meat for tacos. And they have a salsa bar where you can dress the tacos yourself. They also have a ton of others favorites like taco salad, quesadillas, tostadas, and tamales! Just a ton of options. And the service is great every time. So friendly! Definitely go!

Service AWFUL! Went in for margaritas. The waitress first said they had strawberry frozen margaritas then said frozen would be $ 2 extra and they don’t have strawberry! When the margaritas we got finally showed up they were awful. None of the two of us could drink them. Our friend ordered a beer that never showed up. When the bill came there were no prices. When we asked to see our total price we were told«I don’t know. Someone will tell you at front.» It was our waitress who then checked us out. Never had such terrible service ever! Don’t go!

Really good, authentic Mexican food. I had a dish that is described as 2 corn quesadillas with al pastor meat. Yum-O.

I was reluctant to try Mexican food in Branson, since I am so spoiled with authentic Mexican in the San Joaquin Valley, but we decided to give it a try anyway. So glad we did! Very fresh and tasty, and quite authentic too. Good service and reasonable prices too. I tried the Tacos; beef, chicken and Al Carbon. All were delicious and well seasoned. My wife tried the Taco Salad and was equally pleased. I recommend it!

Pretty solid mexican restaurant. I ordered the chicken tacos and they were good. Not much seating. There is a taco bar. Nothing to rave about but it’s alright.

Order the carne asada(steak) tacos! So good! Be sure to pile on the fruity tasting salsa(unsure exactly what’s in it), lime and radishes from the toppings bar. Definitely a great lil authentic place. Yummy flan too!

This place was just ok. I didn’t love it but I really haven’t had too many(? any) GOOD food experiences in Branson. The food was definitely leaned authentic(Lengua/Tripe) but was tasty. We were served rice wheels instead of chips which was different… so we paid for an order of chips and salsa. The salsa was very thin and tomato saucy. So far so okay. The waitress was not friendly and wasn’t unfriendly. She was just there. Except when we needed a water refill. Even my 8 year old said, «Mom, I think this isn’t good customer service.» I responded that it was a Friday night and she probably would rather be home. Anyway, enough grace was given. We got our own silverware because she forgot it. No check back on food. The other waitress seemed happy and good with her guests so it may just have been our server. The chicken chimichanga was satisfactory. Not bad. Not great. The tacos were quite good. Pork tacos recommended! We ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla for the kids to split because it had chicken in it and the kids meals only offered cheese quesadillas. They liked it although it had a little spice(we ordered it without onions and peppers). Overall, meh. We may try it again someday in the future. It wasn’t probably the best tasting Mexican that we had in Branson but certainly not the worst(congrats little hacienda).

I wasn’t too impressed, the salsa tasted like tomato paste & chips were real thick & hard, my husband & I had the Carne asada tacos & al pastor tacos, the only thing that really had flavor was the al pastor, everything else wasn’t that good ! It was just ok !

The food was amazing! Everything on the menu was excellent. However, the service left a lot to be desired. The appetizer and all the entrées came out at the same time. I would’ve preferred that the appetizer came out a little ahead of the rest of the food. Also, the waitress was missing in action the whole time we were there. I had to walk up to the register to ask for anything. She didn’t even bring the check to us. :-/

This place is as authentic as you are gonna get! We ordered 12 tacos to go. ½ were steak and ½ were ground beef. The corn tortillas were clearly fresh and HOMEMADE in house. The meats were high quality and not your«run of the mill» Taco Bell quality. The steak was my favorite – marinated, tender, flavorful. Perfection. The taco bar they have has all kinds of different sauces that are authenticly made, not what an Americanized-version of taco sauce is. They had a mango salsa that was amazing too.

Authentic Mexican food. You know it’s seriously good Mexican food when it’s filled with Hispanics, including me, on Easter Sunday. We ate here two days in a row. My husband had: tamales(pork) on day one; on day two, fajitas Jalisco(carne asada chicken, roasted peppers, homemade tortillas, and horchata. I had: tacos pastores(pork) on day one with a margarita and menudo on day two, homemade tortillas and horchata. Homemade chicharones is served as an appetizer for free. Menudo is served on Sundays only, and that alone is worth a trip. The tripas are the perfect texture. I love that there are tiny bites of potato in the soup. The chicken asado for the fajitas is very flavorful.(We did not use the salsa bar — we found the food flavorful on its own.) The service is very friendly and welcoming. The environment is clean.(I did not use the restroom facility.) Why not five stars: The tamales are not large/typical sized tamales(according to my husband). There’s a shawarma sign on all marketing(this cracks me up, actually). And, there’s ALWAYS room for improvement, right? =) Bonuses: There is a large flat screen television that plays Univision/soccer. There is a salsa bar. They serve beer, and Happy Hour is Monday-Friday from 2−4pm. There is a small outdoor patio, which is great for dog owners and/or great weather. Free Wifi. They have nice window bar seating. This is a great place for working people, singles, couples, and families. Prices are appropriate/fair.

Ate dinner here based on Unilocal recommendations, great call! This place is way better than any of the«authentic» Mexican restaurants here is southern Mo. The service was good, seemed to be family owned. The food quality is what impressed me the most. The meat seemed to be freshly grilled, not from a vat. I liked the variety in the salad/salsa bar, it added a unique variety to my plate. There were tons of locals there too and the atmosphere was super casual with the owners kids hanging out and Mexican tv on. I kind of felt like I was at their house for dinner :) Which was cool. Good food in a relaxed atmosphere, not a typical Branson hoopla packed place.

We stopped in here on our way out of Branson. It’s small, quaint, and hat you’d expect a family owned and operated restaurant to be. The service was good. Wasn’t impressed with the salsa so much, and you have to pay for chips & salsa. The tacos were pretty authentic, tender and tasty. We also tried the tamales and thought they were good. Overall, I’d come back for tacos but wouldn’t get anything else.

Excellent authentic Mexican food. Read some bizarre reviews by people who clearly were not looking for authentic Mexican. Figured those reviews would be a good indication to us that we had found a good spot. Stopped in for a late lunch. Clean small restaurant with tables and booths. Ordered 4 tacos, lengua, pastor, cabeza and asada. All of them were outstanding. They had a salsa bar with several varities as well as onions and cilantro to top off your tacos. Ordered a couple of beers and made some small talk with our waitress in my best possible Spanish. She was kind and asked where I was learning and offered a couple of recomendations on the menu before we ordered. My wife had a pastor torta that was out of this world good. I would defininately go back to this place next time I am in Branson.

Friends ate here the other night and recommended it to us — definitely a rare and wonderful find in an otherwise sea of mediocre restaurants along Highway 76. I had both chicken tacos and chorizo tacos my hubs had the chicken chimichanga and chorizo tacos. We also had the chips and guacamole. My daughter had a chicken and cheese quesadilla. All food was very good — especially the chorizo tacos. We topped it off with some of their homemade flan. Fantastic! We’ll definitely eat here again!

Authentic mexican. Fried chicharones when you sit down. Fresh salsa bar with pickled jalapeños. Horchata! Mexican Coke! Recommend the al pastor… it is incredibly good!

This is a very small place with limited seating. After walking the town we were hot and ready for some a/c. Unfortunately it was very hot inside. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. Chicken taco salad had shredded chicken and it had some spice to it. The queso was a little spicy too. The beef chimichanga was on par very flavorful and had queso on top. The chicken quesadilla was delicious too. The chips served before the meal are not traditional they were the waxy pinweel chips. They have a TV and it was playing a soccer game the day were there. They are located in walking distance to ride the ducks or shopping. Great place to stop for a bite.
