Went in for simple help with removing a piercing. The guy working was totally rude, and when he couldn’t get the jewelry undone his suggestion was a cold ‘find some wire cutters.’ When I suggested we try it a certain way he replied again, ‘nope, wire cutters.’ … Ok then, thanks for nothing.
Well, I went home and with a help of a friend and pliers got the job done the way I had originally suggested.

After checking 20+ artist from NY to NH– I decided to go with Dennis right here in good ol CT. He gave me the most amazing tattoo. Better than I could have ever imagined. Not a day goes by that I don’t get complements on my art! He used bright, beautiful colors which made my entire shoulder «pop.» He listened to my concerns and ideas, paid close attention to every detail and made me feel right at home. His attitude and passion for his work is what immediately drew me in upon speaking with him. He didn’t treat me as yet ANOTHER person who wants a flower tattoo. He seemed genuenly interested in helping me achieve my goal to finally have my own beautiful piece of body art. Highly recommended!

Totally worth the drive down from Boston. Meg Lee delivered once again! I’ve gotten at least a dozen compliments in the three days I’ve had my tattoo. Getting tattooed at Transcend is an unparraelled experience. The dedication to customer service is evident. The tattoo artists are personable, polite, and dedicated to their craft. Most importantly, I recieved yet another stellar, impeccable tattoo from Meg Lee! Transcend really is tattoo perfection personified!

Lou Jacque has been doing my work for several years now, and I have 4 large pieces from him, including a full leg sleeve. He is an awesome guy, and always down to earth. Other artist from the shop are always stopping in to see what he is doing and how he is creating such cool work.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
He is booked several months in advance, but he is well worth the wait!

Best artists ever. I tell my boyfriend that Lou Jaque is my boyfriend on the side because his work is amazing! Please save your money and spend it here. Best tattoos on the east coast period!
