Love it here! There is always a wait, like a hot D. C nightclub. Food under $ 20 Drinks under $ 10. Can’t go wrong.

Pretty sad experience. We normally love this chain but lately this location has fallen short. Came today for Father’s Day brunch. Waited 30 for someone to take our order, was brought out promptly. My husbands shrimp was cold as if it was prepared ahead of time, defiantly before we had even ordered. The broccoli casserole was not normally just plain steamed broccoli with cheese thrown on top. The management should be ashamed, not from scratch, not fresh, not what a cheddars should be.

Ghetto. Ghetto fabulous. Ghettosity. Slow service, the hostess staff are trifling, we just don’t go there anymore. You will break your neck on the greasy floor.

The service was awful. Food was delivered to table, and had to wait 10 minutes for silverware. Our waiter never asked us how we were doing or came to check on us. All in all, The food was«ok», but the service was horrible!

Although this establishment has been open up for quite some time now, but I need to leave a review of when my family and I ‘ate’ at this restaurant when they first opened. They had opened up a few weeks prior to us going there(group of 6 – 8). 1. Took longer than expected for the waiter to show up(offer water/take appetizer orders, etc). No big deal though. 2. Waiter was rude(big deal). 3. Took close to an hour(possibly more) for the food to come out. Now if I am out with just my wife, I would have probably said something already by that point, but with a bigger group, sometimes that’s different. 4. They served chicken which was blatantly still pink to one of my family members. 5. They brought out all of the orders except mine and the waiter forgot to put it in(not necessarily a big deal as I wasn’t hungry by this point and was more worried about my family’s orders). 6. The next table over was served raw chicken as well. 7. No sign of the manager. A whole section of restaurant got up and left including ours. I really don’t expect 5 star service, just a nice waiter with a nice attitude who can fill up my drink. I’m sure the restaurant is doing fine now, but because of that experience alone I refuse to go back to there. This is a pretty late review, but I definitely want to let folks know the inconsistencies with this restaurant, just by reading recent reviews of this place.

I ordered the chicken tenders and steak and both were very good. I also ordered 1 order of onion rings. I swear they gave me enough onion rings to feed feed 5 families. They were good also.

Came from the kitchen scratch? I like that the fried food is well done. Long wait though, because the prices are reasonable. This is our first time. I pointed it and told my friends let’s go in. Sure thing, we’ll come back if ever we are in the area or in other state that has a franchised.

This was the worst decision that I have made in a long time. My family rely on me to select restaurants because I am the foodie in the family. We had cousins visiting on their spring break so I wanted to go to a place that casual with good food and service. Well I make a Huge Mistake going to this place. It was a waste of time, a waste of calories, and a waste of our money.

My spot for drinks. Cheap drinks. Food is good. My favorites are cheese fries, tenders, salad and the honey bread. Lol all appetizers. Cheddars 3⁄23 service sucks. We order 3 appetizers no plates no napkins no silverware. Another waiter had to give us his plates and napkins. I only like sitting at the bar. Seems to be the only place you get attn right away.

Yesterday(March 14) will be my last time dining at Cheddars, unless they complete a drastic change in their staff. One pro about my dining experience last night was the 5 minute wait, despite the crowd. However, i have alot of cons to discuss. 1. the waitress, Courtney, failed to tell us her name upon arriving at our table. 2. i asked for a frozen margarita but she brought me out one on the rocks instead, claiming that their machine was down. 3. i began to choke on a piece of garlic bread and asked her for some water and it literally took her 20 minutes to bring a glass of water out, after i had already finished my food and asked another waiter for water. all in all, this is definitely my last time here until it is revamped. the menu needs to be upgraded, the ambiance isnt top notch and the waiters, waitresses, bus boys even bartenders need a crash course in customer service 101. each and everytime i go here im never satisfied. the food is lack luster and the drinks are a hit and miss. please, if the general manager can read this and any other 1 – 2 start reviews, take them into consideration that CHEDDARS is terrible. at least the drinks are reasonably priced. only other pro.

Been going to Cheddars for years and this is hands down the go to place for an inexpensive, but decent meal and inexpensive, but excellent drinks! The one thing I can’t figure out about Cheddars is why there aren’t more locations. The place stays packed day and night, so why no one has thought to franchise it is beyond me. If you go on a weekend expect to wait 45 minutes to an hour for service

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’d heard good things about this chain, but I can say my family or my boyfriend and I would never come again. Worst service, completely incompetent bartenders, messed up orders, incorrect checks… I was shocked at how inept the entire bar staff was. I actually taught them how to make my drink… it wasn’t a crazy drink though. It was a flavored vodka and soda water!!! I honesty don’t know how this restaurant is open and thriving. Oh and we got our salad after we got our entire meal and the whole table had eaten. Do not go here.

As others have stated, there is a long wait in line for dine in… but we have learned out lesson and either order on the phone or go to the bar to place a carryout order. I must admit that when I did dine in, the main floor leading up the bathroom/kitchen use to be VERY slippery.(I use a cane and almost fell-hopefully that has been rectified) The food is delicious to me and my wife who is VERY picky, LOVES Cheddar’s chicken strips and broccoli and cheese casserole(they are pretty good) Their alcohol drinks prices are exceptionally cheap for the amount of liquor in those very tasty drinks!

This place was recommended to me by some co-workers, so I decided to take the long trip. I was told the food tasted great and that the prices were very affordable. I arrived on a Friday night around 7pm and of course I had to wait for a table. Now my coworker did mention the fact that it’s almost a definite that you’ll have to wait for a table, but on average it shouldn’t take longer than about 15 minutes to be seated. Cheddar’s don’t take reservations and they don’t do that call ahead seating thing either. After a brief wait for a table, I finally got seated. It was very busy this particular day and I got seated in the bar section which was cool. That created a nice cozy environment since the bar section is a little secluded from the regular dining area. The server arrived a few minutes later and gave me a quick rundown of the specials they were having. Since it was my first time at Cheddar’s, I figured I had to make the best of it. After reviewing the drink menu, I settled on this drink called the«Painkiller». Now did I have a long day at work… Nope, but who wouldn’t dare jump on the opportunity to order a drink that’s limited to two(2) per guest. That’s right… you read it correctly. A drink that’s limited to 2 per guest. Even I had to ask the server the reason for the limit and they couldn’t even give me an explanation. For starters, I decided to try the Triple Threat Sampler. It’s an appetizer with Loaded Potato Skins, Chicken Tenders, and Wisconsin Cheese Bites. It took awhile for the food to arrive and that’s understandable since it was so busy night. The presentation looked good, they provided a sufficient amount of food for the money, and most importantly it tasted great. The Loaded Potato Skins tasted fresh like they had just got them fresh out of the oven. The Chicken Tenders were very juicy and didn’t have excessive amounts of batter on the outside. The Wisconsin Cheese Bites, which were basically small cut up pieces of mozzarella sticks, were good but I felt as though they were a bit too greasy. Another thing I liked is that I didn’t have to ask for any sauce to go along with the appetizer. Sour cream was provided for the potato skins, honey mustard for the tenders, and marinara for the cheese bites. Now for my drink, the infamous Painkiller arrived. It came out in a big glass and after one sip, I was instantly hooked. It has a nice sweet Caribbean taste the menu list it as having two different types of rum, cream of coconut, pineapple juice, and some orange juice. I will definitely come back and get more of those. As my entrée, I settled for something simple and got a Bacon Cheeseburger. I requested for it to be well done and when it arrived, I was also impressed by the taste. The burger didn’t taste like it was some frozen patty sitting in the freezer waiting to be thrown on the grill, but it had that fresh ground beef taste to it. The serve the burger on a warm potato roll and it paired great with the French Fries. You’ll have to endure a little bit of a wait and the service might be a little slow, but its definitely work the taste and the money.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Management!!! My family and I dined at Cheddars last night for Valentine’s Day. We endured the wait only to have our party separated into 2 booths not one large table. We smashed into one both in order to talk as we waited for our food. I’ll spare you the details on how long the drinks took and how the martini came to the table hot not chilled in a soda glass because they didn’t have a clean martini glass. As we were eating our meal my cousin who is sitting next to me SIPSOUT2LARGEPISCESOFGLASS that she almost ingested that was in her salad. Before the plate was whisked away she found additional pieces. If you are counting that makes 4!!! An incident report was filed out. Samara was kind enough to offer us a round of drinks. Here’s the issue. We were a party of 7. We asked that the couples meal we experienced the trauma be compensated by the restaurant as an apology for such a horrible and traumatic experience. Wesley the manager REFUSED. Straight up refused. The incident was further escalated when the kitchen Manger came out and demanded the bill be paid or he’d call the police.(the police were called and even the police officer understood our request as he stood by watching when he could have been fighting actual crime.) Please understand the only compensation the 7 of us asked for was for the $ 11 pasta dish that her husband had be removed. The rest of us were paying our bill. This apparently was an unreasonable request to Wesley. Needeless to say this completely ruined our family Valentine’s Day dinner. We will not be back to this establishment. In reflection. I don’t really recall any of the mangers not one of them being overly apologetic about her chewing on glass and having a bloody mouth which lead to an urgent care visit at 9:00 on a Sunday night. No overall group apology for such a horrible dining experience. Nothing to make us feel like this was an isolated incidence. I won’t be back.

Requested service for 8 ended up with a party of ten. We were seated at 7:48. Ordered drinks, ordered meals at about 8pm, it’s 9:30 and two in our party JUST received thier meals! The server comes by and says the systems are down, he hand writes the orders on TWO different occasions… So we sit and wait! Now we all just want to leave! OK. I usually love cheddars. This place is nice but the wait times are ridiculous. The need to hire more staff or something. The food is good per usual. It’s just too slow.

Food is just okay. Service is meh… Definitely can be improved. The bar makes some pretty strong drinks. My hang up is the cleanliness of the bar! I could smell some kind rank old fruit or God knows what over the smell of my food. I really wouldn’t return. This is the kind of place I wouldn’t return to or recommend.

My friend was giving this place high marks. This is her hood, so there wasn’t any reason to question her judgment. We arrived, we were seated and it felt like an eternity to get a server. Once we caught her attention, getting our drinks refilled became an issue. I ordered a steak and some shrimp. Don’t bother telling them how you’d like your steak done, because they are going to ruin it anyway. My steak needed steak sauce and that’s when you know it’s bad. The mac n’ cheese was edible, but still lacking flavor. How do you mess up mac n’cheese at a place called Cheddar’s?! That has to be illegal somewhere. It was just a horrible experience all around. This place does not live up to the hype.

We visited this place on Sunday(against my better judgment), and it was HORRIBLE. Prior to this visit, I had the unfortunate experience of eating here twice; the first being around the time they opened and then again a few months later. I am a fair person and can understand everything may not be up to par when an establishment first opens; however, a few months go by and everything should be underway. Anyway, in an effort to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday, my family decided to meet up here instead of taking heed to my warning and like the team player I am, I tagged along :( Let me start off by saying the floors were absolutely disgusting! It looked as though everyone that ate there that day threw something off their plate underneath the table. I know the critters that run through there had a blast! This should have been a sign for us to get the hell out of there, but we didn’t. When it was time for our meals to come, everything came separate. My mother’s sandwich was missing her sauce, my aunt’s burger came without her fries, my onion rings never came, my son’s lemonade was lingering somewhere, who knows. Our waitress was absolutely horrible. When I remember her name, I’ll update this. The worst hasn’t happened yet. I looked over and like the nosey person I am, I asked my mother why her broccoli was black — it was MOLDED, each piece worse than the last. After everyone got their food, we called for the manager on duty, AJ. He came and took the broccoli away and sent the waitress back out to ask what side she wanted. As a MANAGER, it was his duty to personally come back out and apologize for the rotten food his staff served, not speak through his incompetent waitress. It was then discovered that another individual in our party had molded broccoli, along with a burger that was raw on the inside of the other half. After we chatted for awhile(because we obviously weren’t eating the horrid food), we got the bills. It was then we requested AJ to come out once more because the broccoli was still on the bill. We asked our waitress 4 times to get the manager. Finally after 20 minutes, AJ appeared at our table and posed the question«well what do you want me to do?» It was then that he argued for about 5 minutes over their ‘method’ of cooking broccoli; he said it was the butter which they put on the broccoli that made the entire stalk, even up inside black with white fuzzy looking stuff. It was absolutely ridiculous that he argued with patrons, even going as far as bringing out fresh broccoli to «prove his point.» As a HR professional, everyone in this establishment ESPECIALLY management needs to undergo the proper training to deal with customers, how to handle food, sanitation, cleanliness etc. Needless to say our celebration turned into an extremely crappy situation and time that I cannot get back. I honestly would’ve rather had McDonalds. What can I say, I seem to be a glutton for punishment! However, I will NEVER under ANY circumstances even THINK about visiting here again. If I could, I would give this ZERO stars, unfortunately I cannot.

I first went to Cheddar’s about 5 years ago in Kansas; whenever in Kansas, we try to go here for dinner. I’ve also been to one in Georgia. When we found out there was one in MD we were excited to try it out! This place, no matter what location, is always packed… so there may be a wait. You can always grab a drink at the bar while you wait. I love their Maui Margarita! This was our second time visiting the MD location. We ordered the Santa Fe Spinach Dip as our appetizer(which was a little cold, but tasted good), and the Triple Treat Sampler. I ordered the New Orleans Pasta for my meal which was really good. I also had a Maui Margarita which is a must for me… sooo good! For dessert our table got the Hot Fudge Cake Sundae. I only had a couple bites, — it was very rich and sweet, which is to be expected from dessert, so it was good. Our server, Emoni, was so sweet, and although she was busy with a lot of other tables, she made sure to check in on us. We will definitely be going back to this Cheddar’s!

This is my second time here, and I’m pleased. I love Cheddar for the cheap drinks, but I always come during the week. I know not to try it on the wekend. I always get a veggie plate which is one helluva bargain. For less than $ 7, I get a house salad, four sides, bread. I alway add a merlot so I never spend over $ 15 for a meal, and I have food to take home :-) Nothing on the menu is over $ 15, and it is a cheap night out. The restaurant is nicely and clean, and the bartenders are always fabulous. Cheddars always guarantees me a happy stomach on a budget.

The food was less than desirable. The blackened catfish, which I was excited for, looked pan-seared and depressed. I also ordered cheddar cheese fries which were pretty decent; nothing to rant and rave about. The waitress Antoinette had a bit of an attitude with our group. Not quite sure why. My experience as a first time Cheddar customer was less than ideal for reasons like the following: She brought our initial drink orders to our table as we were boxing up our food.

I get the idea and the concept. And I struggle on giving this 2 stars so I’ll say 2.5 stars, but this place is pretty basic as far as food goes. NOWDRINKS on the other hand is another story. The food is pretty normal nothing special, but the prices are pretty cheap seeing as that’s what the restaurant prides itself on(check the website), because of the affordable pricing of the food this place is ALWAYS crowded. Always! Make a reservation or prepare to wait. Now to Drinks, they are awesome, no more words. Customer service could be better but see my note on the place always being crowded.

Well It took over 2 hours to be seated because our table had be given away and my family ended up having to sit at separate tables because we were a party of 12. On a brighter note the food was actually really good and I definitely enjoyed the Texas Sweet Tea. Will I return? Sure, but not on a weekend!

5 – 10 minute wait. Not bad for happy hour time on a Friday. Our server Wade was excellent. He was spot on with checking on us and making sure we were ok. I ordered a ribeye. Never again! I had to remind myself: this isn’t a steak restaurant. It was gross. I had more chewed up & spit out, tough meat in my napkin than I had in my belly. I wasn’t going to make a fuss over it BUT my husband didn’t want to let it go. A manager came by and my husband explained that I wasn’t happy with the ribeye. The manager made sure that I picked another meat(salmon) and even offered more sides. My sides were ok so I didn’t swap them. We’ve been to this restaurant a few times before. This was the first and last time getting the steak. I was really surprised that the manager was so apologetic and ready to fix the issue — for that, this will be my new favorite go yo restaurant! Thanks yall!
