You have to put all this in context: Pholicious is in the food court of the Westfield Brandon mall and at that, it isn’t even one of the restaurants on the circumference of the food court, but a small stand-alone unit near the front(mall side). So it has limited seating at a counter of its own plus the general seating of the food court and it doesn’t provide the kitchen a lot of room to work – and it’s certainly not fancy. There are some food court restaurants that are exceptional, such as the Indian one at the Altamonte Springs mall, but Pholicious in my experience was just ok, however I’ve given them an extra star for how attentive and friendly their staff was – these ladies certainly care about their business and seeing their customers pleased with their food. The phở and summer rolls I had were ok, but not remarkable. They were however as good as many sit-down Viet restaurants I’ve ventured into in Florida and California. It’s a welcome find in a mall food court for sure, but don’t expect it to be amazing. I would say better than many quick Asian places, including some more traditional Viet restaurants.

I ordered egg rolls and meatball & beef phở. I was not at all disappointed. The broth could have been more flavorful, but it was still good! My egg rolls were made fresh, and the dipping sauce was perfect! I would recommend this place to anyone. The prices are very reasonable! I will definitely be going back again soon.

I visit this place for their bobba teas. Their teas are the best I have tried so far !!! my favorites: Taro milk /blueberries, and avocado flavor too

Glad to find phở in the mall amongst the awful for you food in the for court. I only ordered a veggie phở bowl. It is a very large serving. I enjoyed it. I didn’t prefer any drinks there so I don’t have any opinion on that.

I’m glad to see a Phở place in the mall. I must say it wasn’t too bad. The Phở broth was kind of bland not much flavor but with a little spice add to it… Not bad. My boba tea was not good. It tasted like power, too sweet and the jelly was over cooked. On the bright side. … The sit up was very cute and comfy. Maybe down the road I will give it a second try.

I thoroughly appreciated Phở being available at the mall. The set up is cute and efficient. The staff was always welcoming. The one thing I recall not liking is they would spray glass plus right next to you to clean up a spot after a customer left. Tip to owner/staff: Use a rag instead or pre spray. don’t spray that all over next to someone eating. Cough**cough.

Mall phở, like the rest of the mall food is middle of the road. Not exciting, no broth made for days and chicken that falls off the bone, no risks, just standard Phở Ga, and that’s what I expected when I came to a mall place that served Phở, standard. It wasn’t great it wasn’t terrible it was OK for the mall, and ten times better than the rest of the food I could have possibly eaten at the cultural vortex of hell they call the BTC. I didn’t try the boba, but I did have the egg rolls, and they we on par as well with the rest of my meal. If you’re in BTC give it a whirl. Service was excellent, by the way, I didn’t even wait two minutes for my phở!

Really bland, flavorless phở. Not what it’s supposed to taste like! Great that Vietnamese food has made it’s way into the mainstream but people it is supposed to taste better than this!

This rating is purely food court based and strictly limited to a scale of 1 – 4 stars. Better than meh but less than average. Setting: food court at Westfield Mall in Brandon, FL. Cuisine: purely Phở and fresh spring rolls as well as Boba teas. From the onset you get the feeling you’re at a food truck thats stuck in traffic with no where to go. So why not make the most of what we have here in the truck since it’s gonna be awhile. Pros: hot, fresh, and fast-food Cons: will find yourself wanting more options in Vietnamese cuisine Truck driver, or server still not sure, met my basic needs and offered up a no frills serving of 2 pre wrapped spring rolls for 3.99. Other Phở places I have experienced rolled them there fresh for you and the fact that this place didn’t struck me as peculiar since there wasn’t much of anything else going on that could have prevented or even slowed down service of a fresh wrap. Still, I consider that my own hang up since I am getting Vietnamese from a kiosk/truck putting on airs wasn’t fair. Anyway, the rolls were average and could have used the addition of fresh inserts(mango, cilantro) anyone? Pre-rolled with shrimp, noodles, chicken and lettuce only with a side of peanut sauce. I chose the chicken Phở and was somewhat pleased that there was plenty of chicken in there. No chilies surprisingly(i need the burn), but a heaping dose of noodles, some root, sprouts and onions. Also, huge bowl with a decent price of 7.49. If you eat at the bar the bowl is a great deal bigger than the take away bowl. Makes sense. You do have the option of a small portion and that I do appreciate except i cant understand why someone wouldn’t just pay a dollar more for the large. I topped it all off with a Boba Thai tea 3.99(ice on the side) Overall, it’s Phở folks and this place filled that need even though I found myself wishing there was a bigger Vietnamese restaurant in the Brandon/Riverview area. While waiting for the server to bowl up my Phở I daydreamed of names I could apply to my own Phở restaurant should I be reincarnated a talented Vietnamese chef: Phobuloso Phontastic Phoenem My personal favorite — Phở-sho

I liked the first time, but the second time the egg rolls were deformed and frozen. The soup has generally been good every time.

Stopped here when I saw they had boba — boba + me = jumping up and down in excitement. I decided to go with a Thai Tea, but unfortunately it tasted too powdery for my liking — I would give the slushies a shot still — it could have just been the employee — plus I still haven’t tried to actual menu items so the final verdict is still out on Pholicious. It’s pretty neat to see how Vietnamese cuisine has made its way into the Brandon area where it was almost unheard of just a few years ago.

I LOVE Phở and was excited to see a Phở option in the mall. However, after tasting the food I was disappointed. I order a veggie phở and it came in a salty chicken broth and the veggies were FROZEN! This made for a very mediocre bowl of Phở. Phở-lame!

Delicious. The veggie phở was incredibly fresh and tasty. Everything is made fresh to order. The veggie rolls(3.99 for 2) seemed a bit expensive considering they were veggie… but they were delicious nonetheless. $ 7.50 for the large veggie phở was totally worth it. $ 1 for a bottled water wasn’t a bad deal either. Gets busy on the weekend so I recommend paying upfront instead of waiting to pay for your bill at the end of your meal. I’ve never been to a mall food court and had such great food. Totally unexpected and amazed. Great experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Couldn’t believe I was actually stopping at the mall for lunch. I’m a Phở lover, and when I found out Pholicious offers vegetarian broth I knew I had to give it a try. There was a $ 4.99 lunch special, a great price for a pretty generous bowl of Vegetarian Phở(and that was the smaller bowl, regularly priced $ 5.99). The vegetables were plentiful, and the service was prompt, with my bowl brought to me just a few minutes after I ordered. They have their own counter where customers can sit and eat. The only downfall was mid-way through my meal one of the staff came over to strike up a conversation with me, asking what my diet was like as a vegetarian, while I had vegetables and noodles hanging out of my mouth. Friendliness is usually not a bad thing, but in this instance slightly ill timed.

Color me surprised to walk into the food court of Brandon Mall on Sunday(father’s day) and see a Phở Shop in the Mall! I had a choice of something other than fast food and fried? You betcha I’m gonna take that any day of the week. Service was quick, food was fast and fresh, and the girls, although it was about an hour from closing were cheerful and happy to help. For«Mall Food» It was quite good. I will be certain to come back again when I’m in Brandon!

I was excited to find out that there was a new phở joint in the Brandon area– only to find it was in the mall. THEMALL. I mean, really? I was quite disappointed, at least until I tried it. I have recently gone back to eating a strictly vegetarian diet. I was okay with this thinking the local phở joint served a veggie version of this fabulous foodie masterpiece. But they make theirs with chicken broth. Ugh. Fortunately Pholicious has the advantage of being totally vegetarian in the veggie bowl. I went twice for lunch last week and have definitely added it to my list of «easy, on the go, out of the office for lunch» joints. It’s not perfect, but it definitely worth the $ 5.99!

You can now get a quick bowl of Phở in the Brandon Town Center Mall. This place just opened up in the food court. They have several different varieties of Phở. For an extra $ 2 you can get a mix. I just got the small/regular sized bowl of of the beef phở with some spring rolls and a soda. I think I might get a mixed vegetarian phở with maybe shrimp or something. This way you can get extra vegies in soup beyond the basics. I did get one piece of tough chewy beef, but other than that, it was a decent lunch and healthier than many of the other options in the food court.
