Got a spa finder gift card for my birthday so I thought I would use it to get my nails done. I never get my nails done as it, is so I was hoping for the best. So I came in and left totally unsatisfied. First off, when I got there I asked the attendant if the nail design I found online was able to be done (which was ok to do). She told me to sit and wait for the next nail technician. I had the pleasure of being paired with Nick who was the WORST nail technician ever! First off, he rudely questioned why I didn’t pick the nail color I wanted and I told him the attendant made no mention to me of doing so. Then the while he was doing my nails, the entire time he did not speak to me and kept rushing insisting he had an appointment after me. He also cut my nails sharp after I told him twice that I wanted rounded short nails. When I corrected him he went on to make side comments and continuously insisting he had an appointment waiting. While he was finishing my nails the attendant came over and asked for my form of payment and in front of Nick asked how much of a tip I was going to leave him. I thought it was funny because she never did this with any other patron while I was there. Maybe she knew I wasn’t going to tip him? I felt rushed to get out, my nails weren’t that great, and I got treated like total crap. Overall, I will not be going back UNLESS their customer service improves.

I’ve been having a hard time finding a place near Riverview to get waxed (or preferably sugared). My husband and I were at the mall, and I saw a sign for waxing as we walked by here. The brochure said Brazilian $ 40, not $ 40+, not starting at $ 40… You get it.
Anyway, the receptionist said someone was imidiately available and it would be (again) $ 40. It was clear what I wanted. I didn’t expect it to be the best waxing I’ve ever had, but I figured it would be fine for the price.
The esthetician was actually a nail tech. I know! I know! what did I expect? It’s a nail salon, but in my defense, the name sounds like a salon that does nails. And also, I was desperate. Nice lady, but she took me to a back room that looked like a storage room. Who cares as long as it’s clean and I get what I need. She didn’t really know what she was doing when she went over the same spots multiple times… Ouch… but at least it was better than nothing. When I went up front to pay, she charged me $ 60. Said it was because she did the sides and back. whatever. It’s done, and I won’t go back
If anyone knows a good place that does waxing, please let me know:)

I just moved to Florida from Atlanta and I’ve been having a hard time finding a wax salon. I settled on this one because it wasn’t outrageously expensive like everywhere else for a Brazilian. First of all, a Brazilian wax means that all hair front and back comes off. This place advertises a Brazilian for $ 40 but then they ask if you want the back off too it’s an extra $ 10. Ok fine, whatever. The lady then proceeds to wax me. She put a ton of baby powder on me and it got all over my clothes. By the end she hands me a mirror and there’s patches of hair all over!!! I tell her to get the rest and then she’s reluctant and I become upset because I’m thinking I’ll have to go to the store after and get some nair. She first said she couldn’t get the rest but after I tell her to try again several times she does. And she actually gets the hair out. I’ve been getting waxed for years and never had it hurt afterwards. When I got home I showered and instantly I burned. It was swollen for 24hrs. This has never happened to me before. This has been the worst experience I’ve had waxing and I will never go back!

If your looking to get your hair cut see Qwen. She’s real good and when it comes to the bobs she’s the one that can do them. I absolute love my hair and it’s been years that I have tried to find someone to do this hair cut.

If you’re going to get your nails done, ask for one of the men to take care of you. Do Not see an older woman with glasses, she debated my requests the entire time and did a sloppy job on my pedicure and gel manicure.
My mother goes here regularly for her hair, Alicia is really good, see her.
