Maybe I’m being a little biased because I live within walking distance from here but I like this place. They have a small area for household items, food, etc. which isn’t great but I usually go here for beer or wine. They have a great selection for wine and the beer selection isn’t huge but is pretty good. The guy behind the counter is always nice to me, maybe its because I’m nice to him. Not sure about these other reviews about language barriers and people unhappy about $ 1 more for beer or liquor. Unfortunately there are alot of morons that do come in and I have witnessed them being rude directly to the people that work here so maybe that is the negative reviews?

Awful. Terrible, could not be worse service if it was a funny reality show. Outrageous prices on booze & «convenience items». I stopped for bottle return(HUGEMISTAKE!) they wouldn’t take«mixed bottle boxes» & they shorted my cans. The money isn’t the point. It’s the service after I told him there was no way the count was right he stated, «they are in the bins, you want your money, right? In broken English.(The gentleman is from India). So they give you a slip with the dollar amount, you take it to the store front where a troll looking Indian woman screamed at me when I asked about the policy of return. I took my deposit $ & looked at the prices posted behind me. Go to any other package/convenience store. This place is a joke with a huge language barrier & a larger customer service barrier. Do not give this dump business under any circumstances!

This place sucks. Everything is over priced and the lady who works there is a super d-bag. I went there to buy a jug of henny and the lady refused to sell to me even though I showed her my license and credit cards. After that she started showing customers my ID and decided to sell me. She charged me 75 – 80 $ 1.75 liter. Since that experience I never gone back to that place 65 $ at hancock liquor

This place is ridiculous, they over charge for everything! A $ 1.10 for two reeses? I know that’s not a lot, but last year they were 75 cents. Oh and when I went over the to get a six pack of Smirnoff ice green apple it was priced at 7.89(that’s usual), but when it was scanned at the counter it was a little less than $ 10.00!!! The employee said«its cause of the tax.» I know that you get charged 5 cents a bottle, so that 30 cents extra, and taxes increased from 5% to 6.25% but if you do the math for $ 8×6.25% = 50 cents. So I don’t see where this extra $ 1 came from. A dollar isn’t much but trying to blame the state for its new taxes(instead lying where the math doesn’t equal up) is just ridiculous. Oh and another thing, check the date on anything you buy because its usually expired, they have improved on that part a lot better, but charging your customers higher prices for everything in the store for what I can get down at 7 – 11 for a lot less is dumb. Don’t shop at red apple, its also trashy looking and they don’t take care of the food.
