My 13 year-old autistic son had an ingrown toenail that got infected. Unfortunately since he has such a high pain tolerance we were unaware how bad it had gotten until it was very badly infected. We called Dr. Riley’s office and were given an appointment the next day. Dr Riley numbed my sons toe with lidocaine and removed the problem part of the nail. My son was very frightened during this procedure, and at times cried and was very loud. Dr Riley never lost patience or raised his voice, he explained everything he was doing to my son, my husband and I in a way that was easy to understand and not so clinical that is frightened my son even more. Despite my sons extreme sensitivity to all sensory experiences, Dr Riley was able to complete the procedure without incident. A minor miracle considering my sons extensive special needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Riley and his fantastic staff to anyone in need of a podiatrist.

I saw Dr. Riley a number of years ago for a plantar wart on my big toe. Before you say EWWW, like I did, Dr. Riley explained that usually these kind of warts are genetic and essentially come and go as they please. Stigma, gone! I saw Dr. Riley for about a year, maybe more, to treat my poor big toe. He was caring, professional, informed, patient, and just generally a pleasure to work with. He always answered my questions in terms I could understand. He also always gave me the full range of treatment options and costs, and was respectful of all of my decisions for care/treatment. The receptionist, Mrs. Riley, is a total love. She was very sweet, always accommodating, and very professional. After the year or so I had been going for treatment my plantar wart just disappeared on it’s own, poof! I’m kinda sad actually because now I don’t get to see Dr. and Mrs. Riley on a weekly basis :(
