Carol L. As a seasonal resident, I arrived to find the air didn’t work. Left a message after hours and got a call back at 8 am. He was here by 9. Needed a replaced capacitor. Charges were reasonable and well explained. Carlos was great. He explained the whole system to me as a new owner. I would definitely recommend Nice Air.

In an area where HVAC companies have less than good reps, these folks are great. We have had 3 experiences with them and each one has been handled professionally and efficiently. Staff is friendly and helpful. Each time the tech explained the issue and the repair in terms the lay person can understand. Our first encounter with them was in 12⁄2013 providing a second opinion on recommended repairs by another provider. Having an American Home Shield contract on the place, you get luck of the draw unless you request a particular company in their network. The first company recommended nearly $ 1300 worth of non covered repairs along with what they were billing AHS for. Nice Air tech found a small issue repaired it and we had air. Our second encounter was a quick fix to a heating problem in 2⁄2014 during a cold spell. Quick, efficient and professional. We had a maintenance contract with an non AHS provider who found some issues last week. Called AHS and requested Nice Air do the work. Tech came out today, while we were not there as this is a second home. Did the work, fixed the problem, called me and told me what it was. Our current maintenance contract was up in two weeks, we switched this morning to Nice Air. We can call them directly and they will handle the claim with AHS. It is pleasant to work with a company that values their customers and takes care of business in such a manner. If you need HVAC work in the Sarasota area, these guys deserve your business.

I met Rick(the owner) at an Exchange Club meeting. Two weeks later, on a Saturday afternoon, our A/C went out with a heat index of 91. I called Rick and he returned my call relatively promptly considering mine wasn’t the only AC that had stopped working. In just a little while he got my address and stopped by. He methodically checked the unit and eliminated all of the potential problems until he arrived at the problem: the compressor was bad. Knowing the unit and the date of its installation he knew that it was under warranty and gathered all of the necessary info to get a replacement compressor. On Monday he arranged to have the replacement shipped in and 30 minutes early on Tuesday he arrived with an associate and began the process of exchanging the units out. A couple of hours later cold air was emanating from my vents! Nice Air was fast, courteous, efficient, and their price was more than fair! I HIGHLY recommend Nice Air! I NEVER go back to edit a review, but this one deserves it — and how! 36 hours after Rick replaced the compressor and cold air returned to our home we noticed the air stopped just before bed time. So, early the next morning I called Rick and told him and, within an hour, he was on the scene and immediately diagnosed the problem as a blown capacitor. In 2 minutes he had one from the truck and in 10 minutes we had cold air again. I can’t help but compliment this firms service and commitment to our comfort and enjoyment of our home.
