Two starts for cash only. I’m mean really. In today’s day in age. What a inconvenience, they are sophisticated enough to have an Atm they should accept cards. I realize we make«accounting» decisions but I still think it is lame. The food is average.

Home Fries were cold. Side of bacon came late and was cold. Service and food staff were spread way too thin. Omelet was mediocre. Coffee was watered down. Breakfast burrito was ok. I’m probably not going to rush back here.

Great find! My friend talked me into going, wasn’t sure, but was pleasantly surprised. Food was fresh, well presented and delicious. Many homemade items. Great servers. Give it a try, no disappointments. Just bring cash, they don’t take CC

This place is great! We were served by the owner(who suggested the florentine with fried tomatoes added… DELICIOUS), we watched the chef cook our food, and the environment was very cool. Overall– excellent experience! I would recommend checking it out

Here’s a place I think you’ll enjoy. Nice local atmosphere, cute friendly servers, and the eggs Benedict I had were first class. The coffee is fresh and not too overpowering.

This place would of been a 5 star if it had a Waitress that cared about her Job. Her Favorite word was Yea! We asked her for ketchup, syrup,& the Bill and all we got was YEA! And nothing Else. The Food was Great !

Surprised by the good reviews. Staff is nice but service was below par. Food was beyond bland. My boyfriend cut into his poached eggs and the plate literally flooded with water. Felt guilty for not liking this place but the table behind us had similar issues and were a lot more vocal about complaining. I would suggest skipping this breakfast place. Unfortunately, with so many options in south florida, it’s just not worth going to a place with such poor quality.

Every woken up in your beachside cottage and had a glorious breakfast waiting for you? Yeah, me neither. BUTBEACHBREAKISTHENEXTBESTTHING! Came in to a very friendly environment and felt like a regular on the spot. The VERY cozy location has the kitchen within a few feet from where we sat(I know what you’re thinking, it was NOTHOTATALL). It added to the charm of this place, kind of when you waiting for your mom to finish cooking breakfast on a Saturday morning. It’s Cash Only and I love that. No need for plastic. You feed me, I give you the monies.

Love this place! It’s pretty simple for breakfast: Greet me with a smile and act like you’re happy I’m there — check. Sit me down and bring me coffee — check. Quickly take my order because I’m STARVING at breakfast time — check check. Have an easy to read menu that’s unique but not too big — check! The food is delicious and they throw together some great breakfast items that you won’t get anywhere else. You can watch the food being made right in front of you and if it’s what you’re in the mood for you’ll enjoy the local, beachy, friends & family feel you’ll get from this place. My coffee cup is never more than half empty, the servers are not too chatty but they get the job done with efficiency and a smile. Just what I’m in the mood for in the morning! For what you should expect from this place, they get four stars hands down. The only reason they don’t get five is because once in a while the food takes a tad too long to get to me, nothing unbearable, but if it’s going to be more than ten minutes for my breakfast I need some fruit or something to snack on. Just BRINGCASH — they don’t take credit cards!

I am honestly shocked by the rave reviews for this place. Firstly, the staff was far more interested in chatting it up with each other than serving and providing quality service to their customers. We came in on a deal and even for the certificate savings, the food was Not worth it. The eggs Benedict was served with two thin slices of lunch meat ham, no Canadian bacon to be found. The hollandaise sauce was bland and the English muffin was barely toasted and ultimately soggy after a few minutes. Served al a carte for $ 8. I could have whipped up a more comprehensive breakfast from the comfort of home and a better tasting meal from a starbucks counter. The egg and steak medley was also bland, no herbs or anything to provide flavor except the salsa and salt and pepper on the table. Cash only, bland food and horrible service. There’s a plethora of breakfast joints around here; absolutely no reason to come back to this one.

Good local family-owned breakfast spot. My friend and I go regularly and its good every time. Maybe not the most efficient waitstaff, but that’s part of its charm.

This place serves up an excellent breakfast. I have never been disappointed with the food. Thick-cut bacon, fresh OJ, good coffee, great bread for toast, homemade hot sauce… all excellent. However, I have to knock off a couple stars for service. I forgot it was a cash-only joint. So the guy working there(not our waitress, just a dude who was kinda sitting around) showed us where the ATM was, watched us as we repeatedly attempt to withdraw money, and then told us it was out of order. We had to leave, drive to another ATM, come back and pay. Later that day we realized we had been hit with surcharges for each time we attempted to withdraw money. A simple breakfast ended up costing us over 30 bucks. My girlfriend was so pissed that she won’t eat there anymore.

The ladies and gentleman(singular because I’ve only ever seen one man in the front of the house) serve up delicious food and fast, friendly service every time I’m here. The eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros and bacon are my favorites, and my boyfriend swears by the blueberry pancakes. Gotta love their home-made hot sauce too!

Hands down the best breakfast joint in the area. Friendly, local atmosphere with reggae music playing on Sundays. The French toast is incredible! Eggs Benedict, Cajun dish, and fried tomatoes are also fantastic. ***bottomless coffee! Note it’s cash only.

This place has constantly great food at breakfast. I have eaten here three times having my favorite«breakfast for lunch». They seem to have great lunch options too, but breakfast is my thing. Having it here is never disappointing. They may have a bit of what you might call«beachey rustic“going on, but great service and great food. They have a diner like bar seating as well as booths and tables. It’s a small quaint place so be ready to wait a few minutes for a table on their big day/Sundays with live reggae music from an amazing one man reggae band. Blueberry pancakes are to die for as well as eggs Benedict that my wife had. The only concerns anyone may have is its an old repurposed building, but that is the«charm» for me. My last trip here was just like the other trips here, fun, friendly, and delicious.

CLOSED — A favorite weekend breakfast place. One of the few places we visit nearly once a week. The food is consistently good, the chef, servers and owner are very friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and the prices are crazy cheap. The portion sizes are perfect for me, however some of the savory plates are a bit small to fill the hubby — so he typically orders more than one dish. Our Favorites: the Burritos and Benedict’s. Top them with their homemade hot sauce(which you can purchase and take home!) and perfection. Keep in mind it’s cash only.

We love trying new breakfast places. I’ve passed the Beach Break countless times and finally we decided to go in one fine Sunday morning. First, beware that this place is cash only — something we rarely carry ourselves but on this particular day we just happened to have some on us. They have live music and our booth was right next to a rather talented man who sang excellent reggae music, although it was a little hard to hear ourselves talk, being so close to him. I ordered the breakfast special, two eggs scrambled with bacon and their famous hash brown casserole. My companion ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage, salsa and black beans and home fries. They have homemade hot sauce here. It’s excellent and I recommend it to anyone who has a penchant for spicy things. Our food took forever to come — it took about 45 minutes after we placed our order to finally get to the table. We drank coffee while waiting, which also wasn’t their strong point. My portion of eggs was so small — like, two mouthfuls and it was gone. And they weren’t big mouthfuls either. The bacon, however, was some of the best I’ve ever had — it was shatteringly crisp and tasty. The hash brown casserole was good — nice and browned on the bottom but it had so much cheese in it I had to give most of it to my dining partner — who, incidentally, didn’t love his dish — he said it was bland — both the burrito and the beans. We crumbled some of my bacon in it and added some hot sauce and this was somewhat of an improvement. Not sure if I’ll be back at this point, maybe if I can find something that revolves mainly around that heavenly bacon… mmmmmm…

Not a fancy place but they had live music while we ate breakfast. The orange juice was fresh squeezed, the food was good and the staff was very nice. It’s a cash only joint.

A humble exterior belies the great breakfast fare to be found here. As others have written, this little gem is tucked in among the low rent«hotels» like Atlantic Lodge, Loraine Motel and the Homing Inn, but that doesn’t deter the locals and regulars who come for a great breakfast. Sadly, move driven by many times and thought to myself, nope looks iffy, but today I gave it a shot! I had the one of the two breakfast burritos featured and wasn’t disappointed, while Lady Fingers had pancakes along with three pieces of long, straight, crispy bacon. We didn’t say two words to each other as we worked our way through the meal. The portions aren’t excessively large, which suits those of us trying to keep the body under control. Happily she couldn’t finish the last few bites and I gobbled it up. The servers were fast, friendly and kept the coffee coming. I’ve been up and down federal and Atlantic ave over the past couple of years looking for a place I can call breakfast home and I’m thinking I’ve finally found it.

From afar and because of the neighborhood, the Beach Break looks like a one star motel where one goes to smoke crack and pay for sex. I go to eat fresh delicious breakfast. The service almost nets this place 3 stars. The waitresses seem to rotate duties throughout a visit. One will take an order, one will deliver food, one will ask to refill coffee, which is not a complaint, but sometimes they ignore us completely and never thank you or ask how you’re doing — it’s off-putting. I shouldn’t have to wonder who to tip. The owner is a sweet woman. I should add that not every server puts out bitchy vibes or acts like she has substance abuse problems or throws fits. The food is so good that everyone overlooks this. Items I recommend: huevos rancheros, breakfast burritos(both are good), pancakes, hash brown casserole. They make in house hollandaise, salsa and hot sauce. Really, really good. 100x better than the Boynton Diner and better than Sande’s, similar breakfast spots in the area. Cash only.
