Sheehan’s Corner Pub

Other reviews are bull shit. Sheehans is the place to be. If you are looking for an awesome place with an awesome staff, here it is. Cheap drinks good regulars plenty of TVs and entertainment. Nothing like a crappy everyday pub or bar, Sheehans is the best.

As the other reviewers wrote… This place is pretty much a dump… Lot of local homeless getting they’re drink on.

This place sucks even for a dive bar. I know it’s a dive bar and it’s supposed to have that type of appeal to it, but this place is on the same level with drinking puddle water behind a dumpster. The bartender with the ponytail is a genuine D-​bag (I found one of his ponytail-​hairs in my beer-​still got charged for it), and the creepy regulars are definitely up to illegal activities. This is the kind of place you hear about in the news every so often where someone gets shot or stabbed, seriously. Something doesn’t smell right (literally and figuratively) with how this place is able to stay in business. Do your entire life a favor and keep at least a good safe 5 mile distance away from this dump site.

This place needs serious help. Used to come here when it was The Red Lion. The new owner has changed the décor but there’s no real theme. The cozy British pub feel is gone and in it’s place is cheap wood flooring and plastic furniture (folding chairs and collapsible poker tables).
For a Saturday night, the place was fairly empty. Most of the patrons (who seem like regulars) had been overserved which made for an uncomfortable environment.
The bartender was completely intoxicated. I ordered a ketel and soda and he overpoured the drink. He brought it to the end of the bar and was spilling it everywhere. When I asked him how much it was he said «Uhhhhhh, 5 bucks. Sorry I’m really drunk.» I usually pay anywhere from $ 9 – 10 for ketel at other bars, so I’m not really sure how they are making any money.
I gave this 3 stars because I want anyone who might consider coming here to read this review. My advice is avoid this place at all costs. No ambiance, intoxicated staff, regular customers who count on strong drinks and cheap prices and have been overserved. This place is a dive, but not the charming kind.
