Papa John’s Pizza

Compared to all the big franchises related to American pizza, I will pick Papa John’s because of the taste. In my opinion the taste of their pizza is better than most pizza places.
This was my first time picking up from this particular location. The pick up was painless with no big line or wait. We ordered a vegetarian pizza, it was just ok because it was a bit dry and could have been made with a little bit more sauce. We also ordered a pizza with bbq sauce and pineapples. The pineapple pizza tasted better because the sauce was much apparent with a good consistency of the cheese.
Usually, I don’t feel like eating pizza but once in a while we order pizza. I won’t be going out of my way to order from here but it’s a good neighborhood Papa John’s for pick up or delivery.~

If I could give negative stars, I would. A few weeks ago I called to order a pizza, and they told me it would take 30 – 40 minutes. An hour went by, so I called the store to see if perhaps the driver got lost. The woman who answered the phone did not respond to my question, and hung up. I thought maybe I had a bad connection. I called back, and immediately was put on hold. A few minutes went by, and the driver finally showed up. I explained to him that I tried calling and couldn’t get through. He was very apologetic and polite, so I paid the full amount and a 20% tip, despite the wait. My order was completely wrong, so I attempted to call again, and was put on hold, this time for FIFTEEN minutes. I hung up, called back, and was put on hold again. When someone finally picked up, I asked to speak to a manager. The employee hung up. Outraged, I call back, as soon as I got someone on the phone I asked them NOT to put me on hold and to get a manager. They set the phone down and I waited for another five minutes. Another employee picks it up. I ask him if he can hear me. He says yes. I ask if he is the manager. He says no. I ask to speak to a manager. He says we have a bad connection and hangs up the phone!!! I call back, finally the manager comes to the phone. He says they are very busy and he has new employees. He offers to send another pizza. I decline. He offers to comp my next order. I accept. Tonight I called to redeem the order. They explain there will still be a delivery fee. I am annoyed, but understanding. The pizza comes on time. I open it and it is a sloppy soggy mess. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from this store again.

I have ordered pizza from this particular location many times over the years. The last two times have been less than stellar. I always order on line and double check my order and all its specifications. It is very possible for them to make a mistake once, but at this point it is two times in a row. Is it really that difficult to follow simple instructions on an order? At this point they have not just lost one customer but two for sure! My house mate was beyond annoyed with the mistakes that were made on our order last night. I really wish I can give this place NO STARS, since that is exactly what they deserve.

We have been ordering pizza here for about a year now. The staff is always friendly. The pizza is always great. The biggest draw for us the online deals. When you sign up with papa johns. You get daily offers. Some are good deals and we grab them.
I almost always pick up my orders. I get it in 15 minutes that way. The times that I’ve had it delivered it toke almost an hour. Plus they do charge a $ 2 delivery fee.
Also the online deals, have to place your order online. They do not honor the deal if you call it in.

Our top delivery pizza place. We had the pizza here numerous times. No complaints. The delivery can be later than promised, but it’s all good. I like the cheese and pepperoni the best. The garlic and cheese dipping sauces go well for the crust. The prices are not bad. Thanks for cooking tonight, Papa John’s!
