I’ve just left that place, and I can say that I really hope to not get a food poisoning or any kind of worm or anything else. The food was really really bad starting from sushi and ending with fruits and desserts. I should’ve left as soon as I walked in there, but I was too hungry. Sushi didn’t look and didn’t taste right. It was on the plates for too long, so you could see brown avocado and dry coat on the fish. As for hot dishes, they were bad too, for example I got undercooked chicken(pretty disgusting). It used to be a good place, not anymore. Not going there ever again, and advice you not to go there either. There’re better places around, save your health.

Ginza provides excellent service while allowing you to chow down on some pretty good food they know what they are doing here. Their twist on the dragon roll(topping it with plantain) was excellent fairly priced lunch if I say so my self.

I took my mother here last week, we both loved it!!! I had sushi, fish, and different items from the Buffet. My mother enjoyed the tilapia with onions, Mac and cheese, and desserts. We will be back for sure!

Not the best buffet in town. I highly recommend you spend the same amount of money else where. For $ 20/per person and they charge per glass of fountain soda, it was not worth it for me. Best dishes are the sushi, good variety, but even that they don’t re-stack amor freshen up. The hot dishes were mainly empty, and dry. Compared to other buffets, not many variation on hot dishes. Location is great and the décor is nice. Waitress was nice. Hostess wasn’t the best greeter.

Terrible quality go somewhere else. I should have known better once I walked in but hey I was hungry. I got food poisoning, thanks Ginza! One good thing I can say is the new look of the plaza is nice. That’s the only thing it has going for it!

They have a very large selection of sushi and sushi related cold dishes. Most were excellent. Their hot dish selection did not overwhelm me and but there enough to choose from. A lot of desserts too although I certainly had no room for any. The place itself is kind of uninviting as it is very dark light wise and furniture wise. Our server was great at removing our dirty plates and refilling our drinks and then finding us in the parking lot when Gustie left his eyeglasses on the table when we left. Maybe not my first choice but I would definitely return here again for a Japanese-Asian buffet.

What a great deal! I was a bit skeptical as cheap buffets in NY are not good. but, here I was vacationing in Fla, and my BF raved about this place! For $ 18, I had tons of fresh sushi rolls, a couple of different salads and appetizers, lo mein, dumplings and even ice cream and jello! I liked it so much, we returned the next night to try out the food we didn’t get to.

We went in for lunch buffet. The cleanliness and decoration gets Ginza stars, the environment was solid. It was recently renovated few years ago. The food was decent, however choices were limited, and service was mediocre. The hibachi was average, the guy was non talkative and rude. The server was similar. The sushi was good for an all you can eat buffet. The other dish choices were very limited. If you can put away sushi this is your place. However, if you want to try both Sushi and other food there’s much better locations in this area.

This is by far the most disgusting and unsanitary sushi buffet I have ever seen. The sushi pieces were beyond small and dis colored. I would strongly advise on not eating here. The staff was nice but for health concerns I will NEVER eat here again.

Never going here again. The food tasted ok but most of the food was Luke warm. When the waitress asked how everything was, we told her thinking that perhaps the buffet heaters(or however they keep the food hot) wasn’t on or not working correctly. We had no intention of asking for a free meal, just stuck to the cold fare instead. A few minutes later, the manager(?) came by and was very rude. He told us that nobody else complains of the temp and that we were just difficult and next time we should just ask them to microwave the food to make it hotter. Even my 9&10 year old said the food was«cool»(THEIR words) so it’s not something I usually complain about. It’s just so much was the same tepid temp. Dirty plates left on tables, lipstick on tea cups, dirty forks topped of an unpleasant experience.

For the price, selection, and quick item turnaround, Ginza is a bright spot in the world of sushi buffets. Your mileage may vary — I’ve had a disappointing visit or two — but what it basically boils down to is what you are expecting for an $ 11 lunch. The sushi isn’t the best in the area, nor are the hot and cold bar items, but most things I’ve tried I end up going back for seconds on. There’s also a lot for non-sushi loving patrons and quite a few vegetarian options. Is it mind-blowing and life changing? Nah, but Ginza succeeds at what it sets out to do: offer a lot of sushi for a little money.

Everything is chewy and not in a good way. Tuesday night not a good night for me. Sushi is warm, hot item are cold. What is going on? Its a bizarro dinner. So here is the part that really grinds my gears. As a former Elite I am trained to notice everything. One of the first things I noticed when we first got there was the place was empty. Granted it is a Tuesday night but the snowbirds are here so why isn’t this place packed. The second thing I notice is the sushi sizes were smail. I mean the actually sushi roll and sashimi on rice were small. I also noticed that the sushi rolls areas were not being replaced or replenished. In fact none of the food in the time we were there was replenished. When I walked around for seconds I noticed the same two pieces of tempura roll were left at the same spot I saw them. That means that tempura sushi was sitting there for 20 minutes!!! When I looked at the sushi guys to see if they were making new sushi, they were not. In fact they were both watching videos on the one guys Iphone and later a girl was sitting there bored out of her mind as the sushi on the wood boards just sat there and sat there and sat there. At what point does sushi need to be tossed because it is no longer cold? If you were at McDonalds and watched the same hamburger sit under the heatlamp for 20 minutes, hell 10 minutes so you not want that burger. Now imagine sushi sitting for a length of time… just siting there? It is bad enough that they guilt you to eat everything on your plate. It is another to wait until the sushi is gone to make more regardless of how long that takes. There were several types of sushi that were out but nothing was being made to replenish it. NO sir I will not go back and I will not recommend it to my friends. $ 20 for dinner with tax. If you have been there you too would have been disgusted. I don’t care what they do on Saturday and Sunday. I should be treated like a Saturday on a Tuesday. Just saying. And to top it off, I went to grab my soda to drink for the road and the server threw the spoon into the soda before I could pick it up. What the hell???

Normally, I find buffets to be very mediocre at best. They also usually have poor quality service. This was NOT the case with Ginza. In fact, I believe this to be one of the best restaurants for the money in Boynton Beach, Florida. Here is what you get for dinner that costs just under $ 14.00. * Over 25 high quality items on the large sushi bar. I loved the tuna. There are things that restaurants charge several dollars for each sushi. Here you get unlimited amounts of sushi and all if it is very well prepared. * they have a large bar for other items such as Bourbon chicken, which was great, many grilled items too. * They have a mongolian BBQ that was great. All if this is unlimited too. * multiple soup options, all of which were very tasty * They have a large dessert bar with numerous ice cream choices, cakes, cookies and chocolate strawberries. Yes, you read this correctly. My son had 12 chocolate strawberries. The service too was impeccable. They kept constant watch on our waters, drinks etc. for refills. The only thing that I surprisingly didn’t like was the Teriyaki chicken. Trust, me: Although I have been to five start restaurants that had fabulous cuisine, they tend to be very pricey. Ginza’s food is quite good and for the money is a steal!

I can’t believe I’m giving a Japanese/sushi buffet four stars, but they’ve earned it. For the price, location and schtick, this place is fantastic. Over 2 dozen types of sushi(including 4 vegetarian ones!), edamame, multiple cold salads, multiple soups, multiple hot items(including some vegetarian), plus fruit, mussles, shrimp, ice cream and dessert, all for one price. Almost everything(except the fairly generic desserts) was delicious and was continuously being brought out fresh. My drink was refilled regularly, and my finished plates were cleared quickly, and everything was well labeled, which I really appreciated. Is it a hot sushi joint on Miami Beach? No. But was it a super servicable Japanese sushi buffet that did not result in food poisoning and had tasty options? Darn tooting!

Save your money! It was expensive and definitely not good by any stretch of the imagination. My visit here was disappointing to say the least. A lot of the food had been sitting out for an extended period of time and looked old. The flavor and texture of it was no better than the appearance. My daughter enjoyed it and thought it was good, but she’s a 20-year-old college student who lives off of dollar menus and ramen noodles.(She’s the reason for the 2nd star as my opinion is only 1 star.)

Among buffets, these is a high three star choice, largely on the strength of the sushi. I was impressed that there was a large variety of sushi, including more uncommon(for a buffet) choices like baby octopus. Obviously, the price is right if you want to gorge yourself on some pretty decent sushi. Hot items are hit or miss. I was surprised by how good the spring rolls and bourbon chicken were. The fried rice did not impress, nor did the spare ribs(which I’d enjoyed in the past) and were unfortunately uniformly cold and oily when I went. Buffets often suffer from terrible atmosphere, but not Ginza! It’s quite pleasant and clean. All-in-all, if you’re choosing a buffet, you’re well-served with Ginza.
