Not impressed… especially with all the other pizza choices. And for 5 dollars I would except a decent size slice of cake but instead we got this… I don’t think we will try this place again.

I’ve been coming here for many years(guessing 10+) and should have done this a long time ago. I love pizza. My favorite food. Hands down this is my favorite pizza place. Crust and sauce from scratch!!! And everything else is really good too. Also I’ve done a lot of research on ingredients for myself and my son because of issues we have w additives /preservatives or peanuts. Everything here is REALLY from scratch– not short cut canned Etc. we moved farther away since we first started eating here but drive all the way back to get take out often. And nut free place also. Can’t go wrong. Want real good for you food? And tastes amazing — Go here. Want someone loading up MSG in your food to make it taste good instead of it just BEING good… go to the surrounding Italian places.

5 stars for just a great staff and food. We were a party of 7 and just left a 5th grade graduation. Our little grad wanted Dean Anthony’s for his celebratory meal. So we head out after and we get there just minutes before close on a Weds. We didn’t mind leaving and returning another day but, the waiter insisted that we come in and that they were hanging out anyways. These guys know how to run a business and hire great staff. 1 large pepperoni, pepperoni roll, Philly cheese steak, Strombolli and chicken tenders with a salad. From seating to paying 1 hour. We really felt bad because we do understand that people need to get tontheir families and family is important. They made our family feel like theirs. Thank you again, guys! Patron for life.

The pizza is great. No one makes a better crust. Real cheese, good sauce. Garlic knots are not too greasy and smothered in garlic and Parmesan. Yum. The Manicotti is also terrific.

Wow! We just moved to the area and wanted some takeout on the fly. I literally picked this because it had good reviews. I am so glad I chose this place over all others. It’s my new go to! Thanks for the friendly delivery woman and we are your new loyal customers! FYI garlic knots were on point. I’m from NY State and these are the best I have ever had. No joke!

I don’t ever write bad reviews but, after giving this place many, many chances, I think it’s time. And it’s a shame because I really, really wanted to like this place and the main guy in the kitchen seems really nice. Anyway… Once upon a time I had an amazing pizza from here with roasted garlic. The next time I ordered the same pizza, the garlic was burnt and the whole pizza was inedible. I tossed it. «Just a bad day for Dean Anthony’s,» I thought. «Next time will be better and I just won’t order roasted garlic again.» The next time I ordered the garlic knots were burnt and my pizza was really cold. «That’s what I get for ordering delivery,» I thought. «I will just pick up next time.» After a few mediocre experiences ordering pizza, which I picked up in-person everytime, I placed the simplest order possible last night. A medium pepperoni pizza and garlic knots. I was told 15 minutes on the phone, so I went over to pick it up after 15. I paid, included a 20% tip(on pick-up, mind you), and sat. Streams of people came in, picked up their orders of multiple pizzas in front of me. «They probably ordered before me,» I thought. Finally, I stood up and tried to get the girl’s attention at the pick-up counter. She ignored me like she had been for the past ~30 minutes. I think maybe she was new(dark, curly hair and a bit of an attitude). Finally one of the chefs came over and asked me what I was waiting on. I told him and he went over and picked up my pizza, which had been sitting there for who knows how long, and I left. No acknowledgement of the mistake, no apology, no minimal attempt to keep my business. My pizza was cold, my time was wasted(an hour for a simple pizza), the service was terrible, and the garlic knots were overcooked. That was the last time I will ever order from Dean Anthony’s and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great local pizza joint! Friendly service and good food. Nice specials including early bird. For the kids they offer some pizza dough to play with while waiting for food — which was a hit with my 2 littles. Calamari was a bit chewy but didn’t stop us from finishing the plate. Highly recommend the pizza — especially the Sicilian — nice soft crust. Very tasty!

I mean, the servers were nice, the meatballs were OK and the salad was salad. The tomato soup was chunky, it tasted good, but the chunks were a bit much. I felt like someone poured canned tomato chunks into a really nice soup and then heated it. Salad was good but the tomato and cucumber should have been sliced up smaller and then put in. The pizza is why this place has some stars, and the garlic knots. Pizza was tasty and went quickly, yum! The garlic knots were greasy and garlicky as they should be, wish there hadn’t been Parmesan poured all over them, but when there’s greasy garlic goodness in front of you — you eat it!

The food was really good. Portion sizes large. I enjoyed dinner here. I guess the wait was a bit long. Just beyond the patience threshold… I still had a good reasonably priced meal. Overall I would come back here. As long as I’m not in a hurry.

Great pizza! Came on a Saturday night and there was a guy singing michael buble genre live. Defiantly an older crowd. Worth the trip for their pizza.

My family considers eating here a treat. We get basic pizza with basic toppings, but we’re never disappointed. For the lazy ones who complain about delivery times when you live minutes away, you should’ve just picked it up. Problem solved.

The food is actually pretty good extremely but inconsistent. I pick it up, had delivery once or twice and it takes forever so I always pick up. One visit will be an 8 and the next a 2, on a scale from 1 – 10. It makes no sense. It’s like I’m rolling a dice every time I go, of course its conveniently right next to my house so out of pure convenience, I continue to cross my fingers and go. The real problem with this establishment is the customer service, or the employees that work there. My gut tells me it’s a family ran restaurant and therefore they let inappropriate employees continue to have jobs that they had no business having. There is one female in particular, younger(mid 20’s) — she might be the rudest human I’ve ever encountered. And this isn’t a one time thing, it’s not like she’s having one bad day. She’s consistently rude(consistent unlike their food). It’s like she’s the most miserable person on the planet and your are thoroughly bothering her when you go to the counter to pick up and PAY for your order. I kill her with kindness, uncomfortable kindness each time I go, which doesn’t ever help break her mean strike. It’s so confusing how the owners allow this, unless the owner is a family member but still, don’t you want your business to succeed?

Ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni, sausage and garlic and mozzarella sticks. It said 45 – 60 minutes. Well I wish I would have looked at reviews first. 1 hour and 45 minutes later we finally get our food(though we live 5 minutes away and we were exhausted from very rough days at work). It was cold. We were starving so we said screw it and ate any ways. Crust is meh, sauce is nice, good flavor in the sausage but thats about it. The mozzarella sticks were chewy and we had to reheat those. $ 35 for food, no thanks I will stick to chain pizza from now on and never order from them again. Ridiculous.

I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering from here. The service was awful, and the pizza and wings weren’t good at all. It took them an hour in a half to get the order to my place, and I live a couple of minutes from the store. I called to find out that they wrote down the wrong address. Maybe reconfirming ones address once they order is a good confirmation. The wings were basically all bone, very dry. The pizza was luke warm, and all dough. I will not be ordering from here again.

Order Caprezio pizza it came soooo soggy. But the worse was the garlic bread. How can they serve a garlic roll that was sitting there for hours. It was burnt and hard as a rock. Never going back there again.

A few months back we ordered pizza and it was delicious! It did take quite a while on delivery but it was a weekend so I figured that had a lot to do with it. Although it was room temperature it was tasty so we dealt with it. We ordered delivery again not long after that on a week night and it was the same story. Which was especially weird since it was a Wednesday night and the pizza was actually cold and not as tasty this time. So kind of annoying because it’s not cheap. A few weeks ago we were in the mood for calzones so we ordered here for pickup. It was very quick, I think around 30 minutes which was nice. We got home and looked at the calzones and were so so confused. While we are from up North, we had never seen calzones like this before. Ever. They were probably 11 inches long and 1 inch wide. It was so disappointing! They tasted just fine but they are definitely misleading on the menu labeling them as calzones. I worked at a pizza place for 4 years back in high school and when I went in to the pick up area I could list several things that should be adjusted for this place to strive. First off, they should hire competent delivery drivers. Think younger people with some pep in their step. These guys have never delivered a hot pizza apparently according to firsthand experience and reading some other reviews. Second off, actually hiring a few more people to answer phones, cash customers out, and servers in general would improve the service aspect. The food in general isn’t bad but they need a makeover. The girl who cashed me out was literally asking a cook in front of me what she should say on the phone to a customer who had been waiting over an hour for their food and it hadn’t left yet. Just a little inappropriate and made me realize the biggest problem must be delivery drivers. Not the worst but I’m pretty sure we won’t be back.

I have ordered pizza from here a couple of times, personally I think it has gotten worse, but I could be wrong. The pizza is ok, its better than the chain stuff so I’ve ordered it(delivery) in a pinch. Although admittedly I need to find a better pizza place that delivers to my area. Based on the pizza alone I would rate this place a 2, however on my last order we decided to get some extra stuff. We ordered a large soup which was ok but on the small side and some rolls which were tiny and did not taste fresh at all. However… the be all end all, the abomination of the night was the«tiramisu». Now let me start by saying I LOVE tiramisu, even bad tiramisu is pretty good. This THING was NOT tiramisu, to be honest, I don’t even think it was food. One look and I knew we were in for a bad trip, my girlfriend refused to even taste it. Being the tiramisu fanatic I am I figured… how bad could it be? Maybe it looks worse than it tastes. I sniffed it. It smelled like old Chinese food that had been sitting in its container for weeks(I swear). Did that stop me? No! I proceeded to place a piece of this concoction in my mouth… oh lord what have I done! Quickly I spit it out and started gulping water, hoping maybe I could avoid food poisoning. This thing literally tasted like it smelled. The only sweetness was the giant layer of stale sugar frosting, underneath was just a mash of foulness so retched it would scare off even Andrew Zimmerman. If you head none of my warning, please, at the very least, I beg you, do not order the«tiramisu-like-thing».
