just back visiting Boyne and found new management at Alpine House. Actually nicer than last summer and good ice cream. No longer carry Moomer’s but Ashley’s. Love the Michigan Pot Hole so not too disappointed.

Very disappointed in the selection and prices. We went there 2 years ago and were very happy with the selection. This time, the store was almost empty. We went there for chocolate covered raspberries but they weren’t there. I bought 4 pieces of chocolate instead and threw them away. There was a new employee who could not tell me the price per pound of the candy and did not know how to use the register.

Chocolate covered twinkie, awesome! Chocolate covered potato chips awesomer. Moomers Cherry/​brownie ice cream awesomest. The lovely young lady (perhaps manager) serving us this past Saturday and Monday awesomesational! She was so friendly and scooped a great cone (fully packed). She knew everything about the products and went out of her way to talk to us. She made the experience an easy 5 star. Thanks and we’ll be back next summer!
