Great pizzas with really good crust(not too thick). Also have very good subs(grilled buffalo chicken and Steak & cheese subs are consistently delish). Service is always good and staff is very friendly. Place always seems to be busy so they are clearly doing something right.

Tried them a few more times, and they’ve improved their pizza, though I think their prices are a bit high, especially for the subs. However, there are limited food choices in the area, and if you’re looking for a decent pizza place, I’d say give them a shot.

Delicious pizza crusts and interesting gourmet pizza selections. They offer alcohol(beer and wine) to go and always have individual deserts in their cooler such as carrot cake, chocolate cake and Baklava. The phone is always ringing off the hook when I go to pick up my pizza and they sometimes seem rushed, but I’ve never had a bad experience.

I have ordered from Boylston HOP for a while now and have been generally pleased. Recently, I have noticed quality go down hill. Seems that they are getting busier and cannot handle the increased business. They will quote you 25 minute wait on take out regardless of what you order. This is about 2x longer wait than most of their competition, however should be long enough to produce a quality product. Unfortunately, the pizza is coming out burnt and the sandwiches are sloppy. Time for Boylston HOP to work on their quality control, if they want to retain customers.

I can’t get enough of the Apple and Cheese Pizza. Try it with bacon. If you tried them early on and didn’t dig the pizza, give them another try. Things have changed, BIGTIME. Maybe the ovens are like a good pair of jeans. They needed a little time to break in. Cause now the pizza is phenomenal. They have beaten out Goldens, and are officially the best in the area. Which is great, cause I dunno about you, but I’ve noticed that local pizza has dropped in quality the last few years. But not at Boylston House. They just keep getting better. Tell em the guys at F&S Motors sent ya. You won’t get a discount or anything. I just think it’s funny when someone says that somebody sent them. Y’know? It’s just wicked awkward. It makes the owner wonder if something is expected of him. Just do it. Tell everyone to do it.

Been ordering from here for over 4 years. This is always my go to. So glad it’s so close to me. Food is consistently good and the staff are always friendly and upbeat. Proud to have this place as my local pizza joint. Highly recommended!

We like it here, usually just stick to their pizzas. I like the fact that they offer a gluten-free crust. No idea if it’s any good, but for those g/f foodies it’s a godsend. My only complaint is that it’s not open on Sundays — which tends to be the days we eat the most pizza!

I love Boylston House of Pizza!!. When I’m home from school this is where my family gets our Friday night pizza from! We love the rolled crust and the great assortment of toppings. Also they have good calzones. The only draw back is that they don’t deliver.

Everything is great except the taste of the food and the prices. Location is good. They take the orders well. The food looks ok, but it doesn’t taste good. In fact, it is quite horrible. There is not much else around, so many times I just go hungry.

Good food, great people. A little pricey, but you gotta pay to play. Well worth it.

Was very excited that there was a pizza place in town but was not so excited by the food. I got a sub one time and a pizza another time. Was disappointed by both. I also think their pricing is way to high. I will not go back again.

Because of the aforementioned convenience of this place, i’ve tried it again twice since my last review. The steak combo sub i got was considerably less greasy than the previous one. It was, i’m willing to say, quite good! i’m actually thinking about ordering another one right this very minute. The pizza i got a mushroom/meatball combo was not awful. There were considerably more toppings than the last one i ordered. the sauce and cheese was still not great, and it was still one of those things where i ended up throwing out the leftovers a few days later(which rarely happens in my household). i’m in no hurry to get the pizza again, but i’ll try the subs some more. happily.

Pretty good pizza with a rolled crust as opposed to the traditional crimped style. This made for a small pizza with a large crust and little area left for toppings. We have only had the one small so maybe this one hard a freakishly large crust. The large size was more proportional. I think the dough could use a touch more salt, but was otherwise tummy. The shop is well laid out and decorated. For now there is no seating so it’s strickly take out. Future expansion to next door if all goes well would be welcome at this new shop. Support a Boylston business and give them a try.
