Very friendly and sweet staff! The rooms were clean and well kept. The shuttle to the casino was prompt and showed up on time. Would definitely stay here again!

Usually casinos or casino hotels are not my thing. We got a great price of under $ 90 for this property and for the price one cannot complain. Constant shuttle service to the casino which we used often. For $ 5 more you can use the pool, sauna and hot tub at the main facility. The staff was really nice and the rooms had a nice view of a wooded area. They had a nice central outdoor patio area. For the price you do get good value. Great place if you need a place to crash if you are passing through.

Horrible experience, incredibly dissatisfied. My fiancé and I gamble frequently and received a deal in the mail on a room there. We planned everything, from getting a sitter so we could have time away, have dinner in the five onion, gamble, drink and celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival we thought it odd the lights were very soft, but we thought it was the designers style and procedured to check in. With several people in the lobby obviously upset, the Only front desk agent was overwhelmed and the Only thing she was authorized to say was sorry. No lights, no hot water, no amenities, of course we did not want to stay there, however she said there were plenty of rooms at the main hotel, so we were happy. Well they refused to change our room to the other hotel, unless we paid an additional fee to change rooms. Outrageous! And this was last night, a Monday night. I guess we could have understood it a little bit if it a Saturday, or a holiday, but they admited lots of vacancies in their main hotel but wouldn’t switch us. Couldn’t get a manager to(Jason, or a Brandon) to speak with because it seemed it was not a big deal to him to be bothered. We made a lot of effort to travel out of town, plan our lives around a «weekend» to celebrate my birthday and the only thing we got was couldn’t be bothered management, and a horrible experience with the Skagit. Why would we try it out again when the customer experience was do poor? Regardless we took our business to the Silvereef.

What, am i the only one with parents who gamble too much? lol… figured that it’s a more than decent enough hotel to warrant more reviews. There’s 2 separate hotels related to the casino, & believe this one is for the more southern one, just a minute drive away from each other but what’s cool is they have a free shuttle every 15min-30min depending on time of day to transport guests – casino sure makes it convenient to grab your money. It’s a 3.5 star in terms of bedding, big rooms actually, & better than average hotel, than say a typical motel off the highway. Plenty of towels, but wifi in the rooms is good at best unless you hardwire; wifi much better in the lobby area, of this 3 level hotel. The fitness centre is at the other hotel attached to the casino. unbelievably, smoking rooms are allowed. Free parking & continental breakfast. Not vegas-style in all areas but more than decent enough to have a good, satisfying time. I do enjoy their dinner buffet, their desserts are pretty damn good & what draws me back. Their prime rib special on Fri/sats is a hit-and-miss, sometimes the meat’s really tender & plump. Expect 30−45min waits during the peak times too & it’s cool they give you those square lighted thing that vibrates when your time is ready.

Join Rewards Club Special for best deals. We stay here for our«pack» gatherings as spring board to other activities. Safe, clean, reasonable. Just wish their breakfast buffet had eggs, bacon, ham, etc.
