Stopped by on our way back to Whidbey Island for our day trip up Chuckanut drive. As we were picking out our cheese from the cheese case, the owner came out to greet us with one of the farm dogs(who was very sweet and friendly). He said starting in February is when the baby goats are born which would be fun to see. We chose the aged raw milk Gouda, which paired perfectly with some crackers and prosciutto while we waited for our ferry!

Best Chèvre I’ve had in years. Amazing earthy flavor with the perfect light tang. On top of that, Rhonda Gothberg is known in the community for her ethical treatment of her livestock and the environment.

(4÷18÷2015) We were doing food tour of farms around Bow/Edison/Mount Vernon and stopped in to buy some chevre to go with our Black Olive Baguette from BreadFarm in Bow. We got a gouda-style and smoked manchego-style to go. We’re from the East Coast, the«honor box» thing is always bewildering, but if it works for you all, so be it. The owner had just arrived to feed the goats as we got there and let us meet the new 4-day old kids and feed lettuce to the dairy herd. It was a squeal-inducing experience! The cheeses were rich, wonderful, def stop and see them and def buy their cheeses.
