We all know that dumps and recycling centers are the place to be, and the Bourne Transfer Station is a decent dump. In all seriousness, this particular center is great because they allow people to use the facility from the surrounding towns.
You roll in, weigh in, dump your junk and go. The prices are reasonable and the staff has always been pleasant. Recently they changed their set up to make recycling a priority. Before you would dump all of you materials in one space, but now you are expected to sort your items and drop them in the designated areas.
The other nice thing about this location is the fact that they have a swap shop. Even though that sounds stupid, you can actually find some unique and well taken care of items.
