STAYAWAY!!! This management team has no sense morality at all. We were told we could park anywhere on move in day and left our car in a parking spot for 20 minutes & got 2 boots put on. Had to pay $ 90. Then they double charged our rent the first month and I disputed the second charge, so they declared that my actions were the same as an NSF and charge me $ 100 plus a $ 35 bank fee. I asked to speak to their boss and they said they would not give that information. Guess what you cannot find the owner of this property anywhere on the internet, so it seems they are told to get as much money out of the residents as possible because there is nothing as renters we can do. It looks like everyone here is in agreement. I just wish I had read these posts first. Rent anywhere but here.

Just a completely terrible experience. The staff was difficult, lazy, and unreasonable. The management was not helpful at all. And nearly all the things promised to us while touring the place did not come through. First off, the internet was so bad that there were times when neither my roommates nor I could send an email. When this was brought to the attention of the staff/management, we were put off for months until finally they came in and made a half-assed effort just to make us happy. The internet never improved. The water heater across the hall from us leaked into our bedroom and they tried to blame us for not notifying them earlier when clearly it was their problem. After we won that battle they wouldn’t redo our carpet or pay for the damage to my roommate’s wood dresser. The walls are too thin, you can constantly hear what your neighbors are doing. The hot tub routinely did not work. The couch that was given to us was not the same couch as the one showed to us when we toured. The leg of the couch subsequently broke. When this was brought to the attention of the staff we were only put off for a few weeks before we received a new couch. The complex routinely shut off the water in the middle of the day for hours at a time for«maintenance». It was extremely inconvenient, it’s not that hard to pick a time during the day that most people are not taking showers instead of shutting off the water from 8AM to noon. Overall, my biggest complaint would be the staff in general. They could have easily made our stay much better but instead made it a nightmare. We are counting the days until we can move into our new place. I sincerely hope they can change their ways, as the complex is in a great location and I would hate to see that wasted.

I heard that there was new management and that it was a better place and with all the refurnishing they were doing and the girl(Initials BW) that we signed the lease with it seemed so. In reality they are just plain uncaring a-holes. First complaint, I live on the 4th floor, so I definitely had to rent the furniture because there is no elevator(moving the stuff I had was already horrendous let alone furniture; I had 3 other people helping me and they were sweating up a storm). Second, I was promised during a showing that the place would be exactly the same, it was except for the patches of holes in the floor and a couch with a broken shoulder and a hole in the bottom that was not black pleather like the one in the showing. Third, when I moved in the girl with initials BW acted like she was writing stuff down about what was wrong with the place which ended up not having anything listed when I told her that it was unfair that we had holes in our floor and a broken couch that had yet to be replaced. Fourth, she said that our floors were going to be replaced with wood flooring which never happened and I didn’t get a replacement couch until the second time I reminded her and that was about 2 – 3 months after moving in(The people across from us got the pleather couch and wood flooring). Fifth, there was a missing tray from the stove that she supposedly wrote down and me and my roommate had to constantly email her about it and that took a few weeks. Sixth, in the beginning she says they have this email program where you can communicate with your possible roommate that will be living on the other side, I ended up with a completely different person. Seventh, I got a boot on my car because I had to switch out cars while my other car was in repair and I forgot about the parking permit and the girl blamed the university because they are supposedly the ones that hire the people to put boots on cars when really the booting company is a private company that obviously has to be hired by them, anyway, she said they couldn’t do anything about it and I ended up having to pay $ 70 dollars CASH even though I live here and thus not illegally parked there. Seventh, since I live on the fourth floor it is windy and the windows suck, you can hear the wind at night and the walls shake. Eighth, I swear this pumpkin carving contest they had for getting money off rent was rigged because mine was the only one that didn’t have a triangle eyes and nose and yet mine supposedly got third place out of three pumpkins which tells me the girl chose the pumpkin out of her friends or, since they didn’t inform us of the order of the winners, that they lied and decided to tell all three of us that we got third place. Ninth, after the third month the light in the kitchen decides it wants to flicker like made and not light the room correctly. Tenth when I first moved in my toilet didn’t flush, when they fixed it it flushed every minute, and the third time they fixed it it flushes on its own every few hours which I’m still living with. Other little things that relate to living conditions would be the lack of counter space, four visitor parking spaces, the washing machines taking only a card where you have to transfer money on(the girl made it sound so convenient when really its worse because you can only use 5 dollar bills and up), walking to the washer and dryer that’s not four but five flights down the stairs if you live on the 4th floor, and the having to walk four flight of stairs and across the parking lot to throw out trash which they failed to mention where it was when I first moved in. All in all, this place sucks and if you find a roommate and/or find a different place than here you can save 100 – 300 dollars a month. Also, they say you save 30 dollars a month for signing your lease early, but if you ever decide to buy-out like I did they make you pay that back(So, I paid originally paid 689 per month but with the buy out I basically paid 719/month). Oh and the advertisements said free internet, but she said they would charge after moving in, they haven’t done anything yet, but who knows what these guys will do…
