Getting a root canal is a 0 star experience no matter who does it. But if you do have to get one, Dr. Skulski does a great job (although to be honest, I have no point of comparison as he’s done my one and only root canal).
First off, when my dentist said I needed one, they got me in that same afternoon. Having the pain go away that day, and not having to wait days in dread of the procedure — that was gigantic.
Second, it’s awkward holding your mouth open that long but it was not painful nor difficult to breathe or swallow during the time. Compared to what I’ve heard from others, this is as good as it gets.
Hopefully you never need a root canal. But if you do, Dr. Skulski is the place to go.

I never thought I’d be writing a Unilocal review for a root canal, but I have to take a moment to thank the office of Dr. Carl Skulski for seeing me on an emergency basis right after the Thanksgiving holiday when every other specialist I called tried to schedule me a week out. Their office was busy, but they treated me like a longtime client and were very kind and accommodating with my less than desirable tooth condition. Dr. Skulski and his dental assistant were thorough and expert at their trade. Faith, at the front desk was welcoming and friendly, something I don’t often encounter at doctor’s offices. My root canal was done expertly and the whole experience was painless (again, nothing I thought I’d write in reference to a root canal). If you’re ever in the position of requiring enodontist work, feel fortunate if you have an opportunity to choose this practice. They really go out of their way to treat every client with respect and care.
