I used to love Red Robin’s and was excited to try this place out. Unfortunately the burger was very underwhelming. My boyfriend and I ordered two burgers and fries. While the fries were great, the burger was a giant, flavorless, floppy mess. With so many other burger joints in town I will not be coming back. The three stars are for the clean place and friendly staff.

As of May 2014 I became a meat eater after 27 years. I love the burgers here! I’m so satisfied after eating here. I come as much as my conscience will let me. I rather eat organic meat but Burger Works is my guilty pleasure. Love that I can have a beer at a fast food chain. The manager is so customer orient. He is fabulous at making sure each customer leaves happy b

I have been curious about this burger place for a while so I passed up Larkburger for a day to go a check it out. Service was good and the onion rings were fantastic but the burger was just ok. I couldn’t get it Med Rare which is not a good start and the burger reminded me more of a fast food burger than a high end sit down and eat me burger. The veggies on the burger were good but overall did not have that burger feel that should come from a more expensive burger.

I know it is heresy to like a chain business in Boulder but honestly I get sometimes get a little tired of Boulder’s overpriced hipster kitsch. This place offers consistently good quality at a good price, and I am currently working my way down their menu and punching off my card. Their chipotle mayo is awesome as is the Thai sauce for their sweet fries. Bottom line: great burgers with a variety of options, good fries, and a clean restaurant. My only complaint is that they do not have a recycle bin for water bottles or plastic silverware.

Very very good burgers! I had the Royal Red Robbin burger and it was so delicious! Very juicy and the bun was buttery soft. Will come again!

This place is pretty okay with me. No really, this is a good review. I’ve been here a couple times and always have a good experience. I like that I can order the same burgers that I love at the full service restaurant, but at a lower price point. The burgers are all served ala carte, but that’s fine with me. The portions in the full service restaurant can be too big, so the ala carte works well — if you need more, it easy to add fries or salad or other goodies. The only thing I’ve been disappointed is the limited choice of salad dressings — ranch, thousand island or honey Dijon. What an odd mix.

I was glad to spot and try this location in boulder. I live in Longmont and there restraint here is one of the worse never had a solid meal there 5 out of 5 bad experiences. So after spotting this location gave it a shot and loved that the food which is great was still great, I don’t mind that they cook all the meat well done less chance of messing something up and that they don’t have wait staff that all ways screw something up at the main restraints. The reg restraint at flat irons mall is also great or at least the one time I was there they where. But this will probably be my new reg burger place !!

The burgers are delicious and filling. The steak fries are good too, but inconsistent — sometimes they are seasoned too much, and sometimes they aren’t seasoned at all. But the staff is always friendly and their service is really fast.

If you want a good cheap burger and don’t want to wait for a server, this is a great place. Service is quick and attentive, prices are cheap, and the burgers are just as good as when they used to be a sit-down restaurant.

This place is gigantic! I was craving some meat after our weekend in the woods, feeding on mac n cheese! We had only been to the little one on 16th street, so seeing this place and how huge it was, was a treat! It is on the main drag, so easy in and out and apparently if you buy a meal, you can leave your receipt in your window and walk to see a game at he university — free parking! Staff was super friendly, waited for us to make up out minds, let me get the kids sized burger for my guacamole BLT. Food come out quickly, lots of parking, plenty of places to sit and eat.

Other than the fact that they completely screwed up my order… they at least refunded me for that and I understand mistakes happen. The burgers are not cooked-to-order(no choice of rare/medium rare/well done/etc) and the buns are not the same as they are in the real restaurant. At least the steak fries are the same… that’s good…

They did it! They brought back Red Robin original steak fries for the Burger Works. Bumps to the top of my choices for fast food burgers in the neighborhood. Had a Whiskey River BBQ burger tonight. Always was my favorite. Now just perfect with the steak fries. They even have a sign at the counter that says«We heard you loud and clear» or something like that about the steak fries. Good for them. Best case for a success is to give the customer what they want. Please read my first review too, because service here is good and the review is still relevant.

We stopped in for lunch last week and had a great experience. The service was fast and the food was delicious. I had the Red Robin burger and french fries which was great as usual. This is a great place to come for a quick lunch during the work day.

After reading reviews(thank you everyone for commenting), I tried Burger Works. I had been to the prior Red Robin on a few occasions and felt it was Above Average, Tasty and priced right. I was very happy with the Bacon Cheeseburger and the price. The Regular French Fries were tasty, although the cut was WAYTOOTHIN, I mean they were tiny, as in too small to grab to dip in Ketchup. I filled out their online survey to give my comments/recommendation as I would think other customers might like a larger size fry.

We’ve been a few more times since the first review. Still top notch food quality and service levels. Fails in zero ways. The menu has recently been updated to add a couple new items, and also to help streamline the ordering process. Really good everything, consistently delivered. If you lean toward getting your burgers and fries from a chain like Lark(yep, it’s a chain folks), consider hopping across the street for better(much better) burgers, better fries, better-trained staff, less pretentious, and a less expensive, delicious experience.

Glad I didn’t read these reviews before going here. I thought it was deelish! I got a bacon burger and fries and a vanilla milkshake. The fries were hot and crispy, I could have eaten a ton of them. Be warned that they are not the steak fries you are used to at a regular Red Robin. My burger was juicy and flavorful and my shake was creamy and refreshing. The only problem I had was that I got relish on my burger and I didn’t ask for it. I asked for lettuce. I am willing to let that slide, because«relish» and«lettuce» sound similar. They also have screens that face you when you are ordering, and I could have looked at that if I wanted to double check. Everyone I encountered was friendly and the place was remarkably clean. It seems like a lot of the bad reviews are older, so I say definitely give this place a chance.

Given the reviews RRBW has already gotten, I kind of balked when a friend wanted to meet me here for dinner recently. But, having that curious Unilocal spirit still within me, I thought-what the heck; ‘twould be a new place to review… I can only speak of the vegetarian offerings, which I do not see anything about in other reviews, so at least it’s something a little bit different. Both the Gardenburger and the Portabella burger were excellent. The option to choose your own toppings out of over 10 free selections and some moderate-cost options is helpful. I ended up with one of the best Garden burgers I’ve had in this town, at a lower price. Tips are apparently not allowed here, although a person could leave some cash on the table if so inspired. I did. The Portabella burger was nicely done too. I did not try it, but it looked marvelous. The selection of sides sounded good but I’m trying to be off fats and deep-fried items so I did not order anything. The atmosphere is slightly upscale strip mall national chain … no doubt about it. But clean and comfortable with nice dim lighting. If you like the dissonance of being surrounded by various big screen tvs on different channels, then go for it. Conversation or quiet are my preferences when dining out. So old school… eh? That’s it for me. For veggie burgers I still prefer Mustard’s Last Stand. However, this place is certainly a-ok. Never really cared much for the old bigger full restaurant Red Robin, even when my kids were young and that place totally catered to kids. Enough of my words.

This is Red Robin’s new format of a quick fast-food joint instead of the former sit-down restaurant with a much larger menu. There were so few choices of burgers compared to the«real» Red Robin’s, that it suffered greatly by comparison. The burgers are also smaller than before(the smaller Tavern burgers), the fries were so-so. Not actually bad, but suffered in comparison to Smash Burger a block away. The manager never asked for any feedback either. I think he knows he has an inferior product.

Mediocre food prepared badly. We went there for the first time tonight to try it out(we went to the old Red Robin every couple of months). This new one is a big step down from the old full service restaurant. The burgers were over-cooked. The fries and onion straws were room temperature. The regular onion rings were ok(not great, but not bad). They clearly are trying to be like SmashBurger. Same kind of décor and service setup. A much more limited selection but they do have all the basics. The ingredients look to be good and they grill the burgers. But the implementation is where it all falls apart. The people working there were all very nice. But all 4 of us voted that we’re never going back because everything was prepared so poorly.

I was reluctant to visit Red Robin Burger Works because it is in a new building directly in front of their old style dining restaurant that is now no longer open. I know the new format means many servers and probably cooks as well as managers are now out of work. Yet at the same time if the other restaurant was indeed profitable it would probably still be open. Burger Works is also directly across Arapahoe from Larkburger(aka Fartburger). Since they offered to let me in on the sneak preview which I sadly missed I decided to visit since I haven’t been more than somewhat pleased with Larkburger. For the first visit last week we ate in. Perfect experience. The food was great. The staff was friendly. Everything was very efficient. They even had multiple TVs playing different sporting events. I got to watch Tipserivic break down against Ferrer again during the US Open. I had the 5 alarm chicken sandwich and a two-fer side with onion straws and sweet potato fries. Any restaurant out there want some extra points on my review? Serve some sweet potato fries. I could have given Red Robin’s new restaurant five stars after that visit. Today I got the craving and ordered take out. Not quite the same results there. The website is set to take orders however I had questions. I called and the young lady who answered was friendly, answered my questions, and took my order. I got to the restaurant at the pre-agreed upon time and the order didn’t get put in. The same girl who took my call apologized and owned her mistake and I appreciate that. She even offered a free shake while I waited. It was chocolate and good. Once again I watched some sports. El Capitan hit into a double play against the Red Sox. He came away limping. The young lady brought over my order with a smile. I checked inside the bags and realized that my precious sweet potato fries were mysteriously replaced by regular fries, so I re-approached the counter and was given my sweet potato fries in addition to the regular fries. I left happy with a free shake and fries. I think Alanis Morrisette wrote a song about my experience today because when I got home and unwrapped my sandwich it was not my newly discovered five alarm chicken sandwich, but a regular old chicken sandwich. Epic fail, but still better than Larkburger.
