Had lunch there today. Prices: low. Food: mediocre (I had Japanese noodles).
Cleanliness lacking, the place was dirty, floor needed urgent vacuum cleaning.
Staff was disinterested, there were three of them, chatting most of the time between
themselves. This place needs a manager. Will not come back.

Disappointed. I have been to this location and other Noodles locations and have been pleased but not this time.
I ordered potstickers which came out dry, hard and flat as a pancake, my noodles were overcooked and very dry even after applying soy sauce, I have never needed to apply extra sauce before as there is usually some sauce in my bowl but they stuck together creating a dry but mushy mess.
I took the potstickers back stating I can not eat these, they did remake them and upon delivery of the new ones assured me they are always this way and I must have gone somewhere else.
Sorry but I have been to many Noodles and have never had such dry, hard, flat potstickers. Inconsistent to say the least.

Frustrating! The app is convenient to order but is completely foiled by the staff. One very pleasant kid working the register and managing waiting customers while two people in the back, one cooking with no apron or gloves & talking with the other more focused in cleaning to close as fast as possible rather than either helping with the admitted back up of getting orders out. After paying I was told my food was still hot but it clearly was not when in my hands…

Ok. It’s a chain in Boulder, however we found the food to be quite consistent and tasty when eating on 3 different occasions during summer 2015. Hearty portions and while the menu is fairly expansive, we always walked away pleased.

I’ve come to this Noodles & Company many times over the years and I’ve seen this location have its ups and downs. Unfortunately, this was possibly the lowest point I have ever seen it at; the word of the day was lacking.
This started at the cash register, where they were lacking any water glasses for those in our party who wanted one. This however was taken care of by giving every member a soda cup. After filling up my beverage, I grabbed chopsticks for our group of six and brought them back to the table. However, I almost immediately had to return to the trash can since half of those chopsticks packs seemed as though they had been mauled by a wild animal, with the paper shredded and splinters shaved off of the chopsticks within. Here, their manufacturing (or at least the crew member who stocks the utensil area) lacked in any sort of quality control.
First out were the main courses (the potsticker appetizers and most of the side soups showed up awhile later); I had the Japanese Pan Noodles. When they arrived, I was slightly surprised. In fact, I had wondered if a mistake had been made. You see, I had ordered the regular size noodles and, as testament to that, they came in the regular-​sized bowl. My problem was that this bowl was barely ¹⁄₃ of the way full, and half of that came from the very liberal garnish of bean sprouts. With nothing to lose, I dug into my noodles. While the portion size may be lacking compared to what the restaurant usually provides, the taste was not; the noodles came at the correct temperature and their glaze was quite good.
We had to wait a number of minutes more for my side of Thai Curry Soup of which I have fond memories to arrive, and I hoped that it at least would be worth the wait. When it came out, there appeared to be plenty of noodles and tomato wedges, a good sign. However, this was counterbalanced by the dearth of any apparent coconut curry broth, my favorite component. With some trepidation, I took my first bite. It was both dry and tepid at best! Curious to see how much of the broth I actually had, I used a cleaned-​out noodle bowl to relocate the solid portions of my curry via chopsticks so as to take as little of the actual soup with it as possible. The picture I have posted pays testament to my findings. In the bottom of the bowl, there was not even half of a mouthful of lukewarm, unmemorable broth. I was not the only one who had this same problem, another at my table had just as many noodles, although he might have had two spoonfuls worth of broth. Maybe.
While the potstickers were not lacking in taste, the location must have been lacking clean dishes, as we were only brought two plates of potstickers, each with only a small dish of the dipping sauce. I would rather not have to stick my elbow in my octogenarian grandfather’s face just so that I may dip my potsticker. Spread out as we were, that would have been the outcome had one of us not gone back up for another cup of sauce.
While I wish that the staff had been able to give me food that would warrant a more useful, cool, or funny review, instead I was left to write this cautionary tale. Regrettably, this experience left me almost lacking for any good humor. Almost.

What happened? Noodles used to be amazing! They’ve completely lost me now. I’ve tried twice in the past month… Always with my go to Penne Rosa. I used to dream about that stuff… At first, I thought maybe it was just the location I went to. Then I tried another… It’s almost like when they expanded their menu, they forgot how to do noodles. So bland. No sauce. The pot stickers were flat, weird little things. The Caesar salad was aight, but who messes up lettuce and croutons? I’m severely disappointed in the fall of a once great empire. Pull it together, guys. Their service, however, is always good.

I like Noodles & Co a lot and eat at their Austin stores frequently since I live there. Visited the Boulder location today with my family for lunch while on vacation. While the food was good as it always is regardless which location I eat at, the three stars is for how dirty the place was which was sad as I have never had any complaints with cleanliness in any of the other locations. The staff were super nice and they may have been slammed from the lunch hour, but every empty table was dirty and there was trash all on the floor.

Like a reviewer said years ago, still the same, years later. Like that experience, forever to bring the food out. Not busy. Almost 3 pm. Food had gotten dried out on top, it took so long. Not happy people working here.

Reasonable prices – in a way the overall prices here are lower than they were when it first opened. I believe this was one of the very first Noodles & Company locations, many years ago.
Of course I liked this space better when it was Eddie Lubin’s because that place was an adventure and a half. Too innovative for its time, unfortunately. Still miss Eddie Lubin’s very very much.
Back to Noodles. The stroganoff is excellent. I like it best w/​tofu. Some prefer the traditional beef. Stroganoff could in NO way be construed as an Asian Fusion dish. whoever suggested the Asian Fusion category for Noodles must be quite confused. There are many other featured dishes on the menu that are in no way Asian fusion.
So, the food is good, the beverages are good. The menu overall is good. The customer service is good. And the 1.00 dollar salads are quite a good deal.
I like this place, but do need to mention problems with the wifi connection. While I totally realize this is in no way, shape, or form an internet café, the wifi connection here leaves a lot to be desired. There are a few tables where it can be used… but some browsers, like Comodo Dragon for example, cannot be accessed via this particular wifi connection.
This is a restaurant for families to come to together and talk. Lone diners with laptops are not a common sight here. So the wifi issue does not matter much in the ultimate scheme of things. I still love Noodles. This is pretty much the only Noodles that I go to.

Good choices, fast, tasty, cheap, easy.

I go back every time while in Boulder, CO.
If you like good fast food that is prepared with quality ingredients you will enjoy this place for lunch or dinner.
You walk in and go to a counter to order your food. You can take out or eat in. If you eat in don’t expect fancy. Eating in looks and feel more like a fast food place with a contemporary flare. It is nice but I always take out. It’s one of my go to places for take out.
They have a variety of options on the menu. I love the Wisconsin Mac and Cheese and the Beef Stroganoff. Not at the same time though. My husband likes the Pad Thai. You can also pick your size plate depending on how hungry you are. They are always very friendly.
The best thing is their web site allows you to order on-​line, pick a time that you want to pick your food up and it is always ready! Even if you place your order in the morning for that evening pick up. How wonderful is that! Just be sure you select the proper location for your pick up order… then it could be a problem. I have done that, my food is somewhere other than where I expected and is completely my fault.

Noodles & Company is currently listed in obviously the wrong category here on Unilocal,as Thai food, and I have let Unilocal know this is wrong.
Noodles serves new American Asian Fusion, in particular pastas. Wife ordered the Tuscan salad with braised pork and I the truffle mac & cheese. The portions were tasty and fair for the price. Was pleased to see that they offer non HFCS drinks with real sugar. Service was fast and friendly, clean restrooms, very filling food for the price and I just wish they had one of these near where I live, as I would be a frequent customer for sure.

Please keep in mind that I have been known to Unilocal at the sign of an overcooked noodle. That said, this chain does what they do, best: inexpensive, delicious comfort food at it’s best. It is a carbohydrate fantasy! Potstickers, Wisconsin Cheddar Mac ‘n Cheese with meatballs, asian noodles (keep in mind not a direct replacement for the wonderful uDon that can be conveniently found in asian markets).
This is the place to go when you need a smile on your face!

Same Noodles goodness as the other ones in Boulder, but this is probably my least favorite.
The set up is kind of weird, but I understand they’re trying to make the most of a small space. The employees don’t seem very happy to be at work and our food always takes forever to come out, even on night when there’s not many people there. Also, the Chicken Noodle soup here tastes different than at the other Noodles in town.

I am a huge fan of Noodles. I have been known to detour on road trips if I think a med salad is in my future. Try the pad thai! Oh! And the pesto cavatappi (light oil). The trio I had for dinner last night included a med salad, chicken and some of their killer chicken noodle soup. Oh and the potstickers! The prices are great, large dishes in the $ 5 range, trio around $ 7.50. Their option to call ahead is awesome and super speedy.
That said, the alpine location is my least favorite. For some reason it seems a little oilier, not quite as tasty. Not that it has stopped me from going… at all.

healthy, consistent, and good.
This wins as fast food. Period.
Sort of like Chipotle too… it has options for alcohol and drinks. It can be a quick, cheap dinner, or a to go lunch. No frills, friendly staff, clean surroundings.

Low prices. Decent food. Fast service. That’s why I like this place. Everything is pretty fresh too. I was skeptical about their Asian dishes but they weren’t as bad as I thought they would be. For quick fix, come here.

They seem to have solved their watery mac-​n-​cheese problem so I’ve started visiting again.

Seems like there is a Noodles & Co on every other block in town. Easy to see why it’s popular: low prices, fast service, and a wide range of appealing dishes. Most, but not all, have some Asian theme, but they’re not trying too hard to be authentic to any one thing. Not exactly a place you’ll want to spend the evening, but a good place for a quick, healthy, solid meal.
