Best place I know of in Boulder. So much flavor. This is now the place i take people to when we have friends in town. Give the lunch buffet a try, you won’t be disappointed.

In love with this place. Friendly staff, clean… But most of all the food is incredible. The chutneys are to die for, the chicken tikka masala is creamy and flavorful and the nann is, well, amazing. I’ve eaten at their buffet and ordered off the menu, both were incredible. I love a good buffet, and this one is absolutely perfect – all your Indian and Nepalese favorites. Don’t forget to try the papadam(not sure on spelling), it’s crispy perfection.

This place is SO good. We love Sherpas, and this place is a closer alternative. Definitely try the Vegetable Sampler. It’s the most bang for your buck and gives you some amazing dishes to try. It’s like $ 20 and more than enough food for two people. It comes with two appetizers, three main vegetable dishes, rice pudding, salad, naan, and chai tea. If you’re looking to try this place out, start with the sampler. It’s a no brainer.

Best Indian buffet in Boulder. My favorite is the sweet potato masala. Naan, samosa, spinach pakora and daal are all excellent. Great service.

I came here to try the lunch buffet today. Overall, I would say this place is decent. The buffet cost $ 9.95 per person, so around $ 13 including tax and tip — not terribly cheap, but not a bank breaker, either. Many of the buffet items did not have tags, so I didn’t really know what I was eating half of the time, but I was adventurous and kept an open mind. There was one item that looked similar to Chicken Tikka Masala –it was delicious and went well with the yellow pea and carrot rice and the naan. There were also many chicken, potato and vegetable, and vegetarian dishes that were quite delectable. The reason why I rated this restaurant four out of five stars was because the tandoori chicken was dry and not very tasty, and the saag had a bit too much cream and tasted watery, and the rice dessert –Kihr– did not taste right compared to the many other Indian places I’ve dined at in the past. On the other hand, there were plenty of other delicious options to help me overlook these unimpressive dishes. Overall the service was great and the staff was very attentive. The ambiance was also nice and comfortable –not too upscale, and far from a hole in the wall. It’s likely that I’ll come back to this restaurant.

Delicious and authentic Indian and Nepali food with the best service we’ve ever had at an Indian restaurant. A huge bonus: almost everything is gluten free! Highly recommend their Sherpa soup and tandoori entrees.

Ohh yum. Dinner review. 5pm on a Sunday, had place to ourselves, no one else there. Shared some dishes. Chicken Tikki, veggie korma, garlic naan, rice pudding. Everything was on point with amazing flavor. Chai was a bit sweet but I had a few refills. Server was very attentive and kind.

Fantastic food. I had the sweet potato masala which was very creamy and I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did, considering I’ve never had sweet potato in Indian cuisine. The portion was plentiful and be wary on the size of the appetizers! My boyfriend and I ordered 2 + some naan bread(very cheap and they give you a lot!) and we were pretty full before our food got there. The only reason why I don’t give this more stars is that the menu is very different than the Nederland location. The prices are also a lot more, which kind of bummed me out when we sat down. I expected to pay a certain amount and order a few dishes to try and was instead put off by the significantly higher prices. At least $ 2 – 4 more per dish. It was also difficult for me boyfriend and I to get water. He had to get up and ask. I wouldn’t normally mind but the food is spicy and all guests need to have their waters refilled at least regularly.

Love it! New favorite Indian place in Boulder — I haven’t been to their other original locations but know this one is just as good! Very sweet staff. Best naan– not too doughy.

New to town, but their reputation in Nederland has garnered great popularity down in Boulder. We tried their meat thali sampler, and the portions were very generous. I would have to say their aloo gobi is divine. Instead of potatoes, there was fresh zucchini! I look forward to visiting again.

My rating is more like a 2.5. Didn’t feel like giving them a 2 for their service which was one of the only two things I liked about the place. The other one was their chai, which was delicious. We had dinner. The food was okay. We have better indian fare in town. We got the samosa chat for appetizer. It was quite bland. My husband digged it on the other hand. For me, It was quite flavorless. I ordered spinach platter with onion naan for my entrée and my husband ordered tofu masala. We asked for medium spice but my spinach platter was very spicy. Also, the chili powder they mixed in to make it spicy was not mixed in well. Some bites of it was real spicy and the other bites were super spicy. The naan was not cooked well and was doughy. Tofu masala was much better than the spinach platter I ordered. It was quite tasty but spicy. Way more spicier than«medium» Portions were pretty big. The entrée came with rice, salad and a dal soup. Also want to mention that both of us had an upset stomach and we think it was because of the spice level. I might give this place another try. I will see how their buffet fares but I am not going back for dinner.

Stopped in for the lunch buffet with three others around 1pm, and we were seated immediately. I hate going to buffets because I don’t eat very much at once and buffet food, in general, doesn’t taste very good, but the food here was excellent! Each dish that I tried had a lot of flavor, and had me wanting more! My favorites would have to be the saag paneer(creamy spinach thing), sweet potato masala(good with the fresh, free naan), and the rice pudding. The saag paneer was really flavorful and not too overwhelming. The naan was very dough-y and yummy! The rice pudding was excellent. I really enjoyed out it had a hint of chai/cinnamon. Quite delicious! The total was around $ 48 for four people and two chais. Pretty good if you’re an eater! Not so good if you’re like me and can’t eat very much, but I would say it’s more worth it to come to this place than Country Buffet or Golden Corral. I would try it again with my family members. Yum!

We enjoyed the buffet in the new location today — and man, were we glad they expanded down the hill from Nederland. The spread was tasty and plentiful. The restaurant is comfortable with lots of windows and trees around, even if it’s on 28th Street. We’ll be returning again and again. Good deal, nice people, great food.

The top two Nepali chefs in Colorado cook here. The food is amazing. The saag is great.
