If you do your taxes with them, get a fixed rate from them or tell them to stop working on your file at a specific $ amount. I had 1 personal return with 2 states and received a bill for $ 995 with no detail, postmarked May 20th but dated April 30th and saying that a late charge will be assessed if not received by the end of the month. I called on May 29th and left a message with the receptionist to get a call back about the bill, but never received a call back. I called back again on June 6th and explained my frustration on getting such a bill and the bill was adjusted down to $ 700. I am not returning back still as this is the highest I’ve paid for my taxes. The first version of my return was missing a deduction that we discussed and I said that I would be taking(SEPIRA contribution). Once I spoke to them, they did fix it, but that makes me wonder what else was missed on my return.
