The best gelato around, and I say that after much experience. The London Fog and Salted Caramel are over-the-top amazing. All of the favors are unique, handmade on site, and worthy of at least a taster. I don’t mind the parking nightmare just to get a scoop of this awesome gelato!

Seeking the best gelato on a Pearl? In Boulder? I think this is the place. The owner is from Italy; the result is a true Italian gelato which has the precise amount of air and egg and temperature… the flavors burst and the velvet texture pleases every sense! I’ve had the vegan chocolate, coffee, Santa’s cookies and milk… and now we’re tempted to try the gelato cakes(um, yea…) and lava cake a la mode. The store is clean, bright, beautifully sparse. Samples flow freely and laughter and happiness spill over onto the outdoor mall…

The gelatos are out of this world. The service is quick and friendly. The location is very convenient. I stop in here for a gelato whenever I find myself in Boulder. Highly recommended.

Wow. Hands down the best gelato I have ever had. For starters I love the design of the store combined with the advertising that everything is made fresh daily. Then you go into the store and see the most beautiful gelato in the case. Each one has gorgeous swirls and made you want to eat and eat some more. Naturally with the options I had no choice but to do the flight of four flavors. I went for the pumpkin pie(just like pumpkin pie complete with whipped cream), fig-marscapone(the slight tang of the fig was a perfect marriage with the rich marscapone), bourbon-pecan(sacrilege for my husband and friend to put bourbon into ice cream as that is meant to drink straight but Delish to me), and finally my favorite. The coconut florentine which had a rich coconut flavor with crunchy almond cookies and chocolate. Yes, yes, yes. A happy day indeed.

I was told that this place made a terrific cappuccino so I was looking forward to my first visit. I spend several months a year in Italy and go daily to one of several local coffee bars for my morning cappuccino. In Italy, making coffee is an art and the baristas go to school to properly learn this trade, so my standards are quite high. This place is certainly very modern and attractive and comfortable even though it is small. In this way it has some of the feel of an Italian coffee bar. We ordered two cappuccinos and a hot cocoa. I really wanted to like this place since, when I’m in the US, I eagerly look for the quality coffee drinks that I’m used to in Italy. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The cappuccino I was served was almost white — too much milk and not enough coffee. It was not the rich blend of strong coffee and frothy milk that one can get in almost any Italian bar and at $ 3.50 its cost is double what a great cappuccino costs in Italy. The problem with the drink may have been due to the fact that the barista that made our drinks appeared to be in training. The other server was instructing her step-by-step on how to make a cappuccino. This would NEVER happen in Italy where the baristas are thoroughly trained BEFORE they start making and serving coffee(and other) drinks. The owner of this place should never have permitted on-the-job training of an employee. That’s a grave disservice to the customer. Thus, my quest for a high quality cappuccino in the US continues.

On a trip to Colorado last month I spotted this place from inside of Starbucks on Pearl St. while waiting for one of my friends to get a PSL. Service was great as they don’t have any problems with letting you try the whole line of flavors before deciding. The earl grey, pear and cocnut & mango flavors were my favorite. The fruit flavors were made in a cream base vs a sorbet which was different from other gelato places I’ve visited which only offer fruit flavors as a sorbet. The most unique flavor that was there was lemon basil which was also delicious. There’s a loyalty program, so be sure to pick up a card if you are local. Will definitely be back the next time I visit Boulder.

Wow, this is a cute little spot on Pearl St. I could only manage a few spoons of the lemon basil ice cream but it was on point. I would never think of throwing these two things together but the partnership is utterly amazing. I would fly back to Boulder just for another taste.

Wow. Just amazing. This is in my top three(if not even my number one) ice cream/gelato/froyo places ever. All the flavors sounded amazing. There were many unique flavors without sounding too weird and crazy. I tried the chocolate lavender, London fog(earl grey with other flavors), s’mores, and mascarpone and fig. All flavors were really great and not overly sweet. I got a double scoop of s’mores and mascarpone and fig. So so so creamy and soft and amazing flavor profiles. The s’mores tasted like a delicious cold melted handmade marshmallow. The masc. And fig was so unique and refreshing. Not too sweet but not tart either, the perfect balance. Wish I lived in Boulder so I could get this all the time. The«ice cream barista,» as I dubbed him was really friendly and helpful!

I have to say, they are just knocking it out of the park this summer. New inventive flavors, more efficient service. They have relabeled their sorbets as vegan gelato as they do put them through their gelato machine so you get the creamy texture without the dairy. There are usually 2 flavors, occasionally a third. Of the regular gelato my new fav is the S’Mores, but my allotted dairy intake is limited so I usually go vegan with the Lemon Basil. Most of what I have said in the past review still applies. No more breakfast pastries, just biscotti. And all hired help I think.

Geez!!! What a place!!! VEGAN options made me almost fall out on the floor!!! I had the lemon basil and OMG squared was it good! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I think you could literally sample every single gelato and they wouldn’t care. This is a great little store to visit, the ambiance is great, the gelato is amazing and the service is amazing! I highly recommend bringing the whole family — and friends.

After a brutal trek all the way from 29th Street Mall, I happened upon this small but trendy coffee and gelato shop and found solace in their mind-blowing Kombucha float. The kombucha float(I found out the hard way that it’s pronounced«kom-boo-cha» guys) is a spectacular concoction of a fizzy and mildly flavored kombucha soda and two groups of Fior’s house made gelato. The staff were kind enough to let me sample the gelato, and I went by their suggestions, getting a scoop each of lemon basil and melon cucumber. The lemon basil was very good on its own, super tart and fragrant, but it was a little out of place with the rest of the drink. The melon cucumber, however, was a perfect match for the Kombucha. The sweet, slightly earthy flavor of the melon, along with cool undertones of cucumber, played beautifully with the rooty Kombucha. My only two complaints are that the gelato still had some icy junks in it and the price was a little too high for my comfort, at $ 7. The flavor was seriously on point though. This was just what I needed to rejuvenate me after my treacherous expedition(some might just call it a long walk). I’ll definitely be coming back for another Kombucha float with only melon cucumber gelato.

The atmosphere and décor are reminiscent of a European café, which is a nice touch for a shop that is all about gelato. I recently stopped in again and found it refreshing that the gelato is still made fresh every day and the flavors are unique. I found myself fancying the lemon and basil this time around, but was a little bit disappointed on how small the scoop is for the price I paid for it($ 4 for one scoop). I finished my gelato before I even got a full flavor of it. The coffee is fresh and I would come back just to spend a little bit of time soaking up the nice atmosphere with a cup.

Gelato by its very nature is trying to be fancy. America already had ice cream and frozen yogurt, and we inherently expect European things to have a certain classy flair, so if you’re going to serve gelato, it has to bring its A-game to beat out our best frozen dairy delights. I can’t really say that was the case here. It seemed like several of the flavors, including the Nutella and the berry pannacotta, were just vanilla with swirls across the top, so you didn’t get the flavor in every spoonful. At least my salted caramel tasted like I expected. For the price(over $ 9 for two cups) I had hoped for better, but I think a scoop from the nearby Ben & Jerry’s would have been equally satisfying.

Cute little gelato place on Pearl Street! The staff was friendly in letting try a few of the flavors. I liked the pistachio since it was very nutty and actually tasted like pistachio but ended up getting the London Fog because I liked the tea flavor in it. I like some of the unique flavors they offered(ex. London fog, chocolate lavender, etc.), but it’s definitely on the pricier side for a small cup of gelato. My one scoop in a cup cost me 4 dollars.

What a wonderful addition to the Pearl Street Mall! This gelato is wonderfully authentic and absolutely delicious. I had the pistachio(not green! always a great sign!) and the earl grey and it was a lovely combo. The interior of the space is beautiful and made me feel like I was in Rome — wishful thinking! I would highly recommend a visit here in warm weather or cold. It was delicious!

We are lucky to get a taste of Italy’s gelato on Pearl Street. At Fior di Latte, the flavors are all very tempting, and the few I tried were delicious. The salted caramel gelato was simply delicious, the lemon-basil is surprisingly creamy for a sorbet, and refreshing with the right balance of sweat and tart, and a hint of basil. I can’t wait to go back to get a pistachio gelato accompanied with an espresso. Or maybe a chocolate hazelnut one, or both… Yes, it is a little bit on the expensive side, but for such a treat it is worth it. I’d rather go less often and get the best when I want more than an ice-cream. I also had a latte, which was very good. I can tell this is going to be one of my favorite spots when going on Pearl Street. I should also mention that the staff was very friendly. So glad I finally tried Fior di Latte!

An upscale, beautifully decorated gelato heaven with unique and creative flavors … And tons of free samples… This had my name written all over it! This place is heaven! I even loved the lavender licorice flavor, even though I usually despise licorice.

Uhhh, really? All these 5 star reviews for expensive mediocre gelato? I had their salted caramel and it was only just okay. Honestly, what do I care if you’re guaranteeing I’m eating gelato made the same day… it’s gelato… I don’t think the cold ruins it. But hey, what do I know about the fine art of gelato. It just seems like a pretentious and ridiculous claim… and an excuse to charge exorbitant prices for mediocre fare. Friendly staff and a nice place, so points for that.
