The lamb shank with rice and raisins is out of this world! The food here is not only delicious but also inexpensive. The menu could be improved since it does not have all the items and is not immediately visible. Seating seems kinda limited; I’m not sure how crowded this place gets at lunch time during the week, but the guy there said sometimes they have more customers than they can accommodate. Given the quality of the food, I’m not surprised. Will definitely come back for more!

I thought the food was very good. The reason I give a only 2 stars is I felt like I got bamboozled. I ordered a chicken dish with rice and raisins. The menu above the cash register said the price was $ 6.99. She rang it up as $ 7.99. When asked why it was an extra dollar she said it was a different kind of chicken used. She also added that if we had gone with the lamb version of this it would have been $ 13.99. What is important to note here is she does not let you know beforehand that the charge would be higher than what the menu says. She rings it up and tries to be sneaky about it. Although I really liked the food I will not go back as it felt as if I was scammed a bit. Too bad :(

Buyer beware… the owner had some items marked as buy one get one free, this seemed strange considering how overpriced the groceries are. I checked the date only to find the sale items were expired, there was also a bag of pasta which was over one year expired. I can’t stand this kind of dishonesty. The ower was incredibly rude, she snapped at me because i refused to buy a 12 dollar bag of candy. I purchased a few items i placed them on the counter and she started adding them up before i got up to the counter, when i went up to pay she said my total was 37 dollars and some change for 5 items meaning she would have charged me about 8 dollars for a small bag of pita. i will never go back! This place will not stay open, and honestly after seeing how rude and dishonest she was she doesn’t deserve any business.

Ever swooned over food eaten at a humble kitchen table plopped down in the middle of an ethnic deli cum grocery store? Order the fesenjoon, one of the most ancient dishes still made, a delectable spiced chicken dish over rice unlike any you’ve ever experienced — unless you happen to have the good fortune to be Persian. Truly a delight. I spent way too much money on pomegranate paste, figs, frozen broad beans that melt in the mouth, and halvah every time I’m in. Soraya, the proprietor, is just lovely — if my grandmother were Iranian she would have been just like Soraya. Also, order something other than falafel — that’s not traditional Persian and you’re really missing out on the gems hiding in the kitchen. Also the slow-cooked lamb shank … ooooh my goodddd. ..

If I could, I would give them 0 stars! Horrible customer service. Do not go there. They try to overcharge you for everything.

Super quick, delicious gyros for a great price! I eat here at least once a week, the staff is always friendly too. Don’t forget to ask for feta on your gyro too.

This place is great and incredibly cheap. $ 5 for a gyro or a falafel sandwich. Whoever wrote that the service is terrible either got there on a bad day or did something to make them angry. All we got were smiles and great service. The prices in the grocery are quite good too, this is definitely where I’ll head the next time I need to stock up on spices. I will definitely be back!

There must be some perhaps hilarious reason why this place has a four dollar sign rating… but it sure isn’t because of the roughly $ 6 falafel wrap, which is unique in the sense that it tastes nothing like Falafel King’s. It’s really herby, green inside, and showered with a thick, garlicky tahini that congeals quickly, plus fresh vegetables. One thing the falafel is not is crisp, which is curious, since all the food is made to order.

Worker argued with me about a very clear coupon. Wish they didn’t use styrofoam dishes for environmental concerns. Falafel sandwich was pretty good. I won’t be back unless i need a specialty item from the grocery. Edit: i just saw that she tried to overcharge another Unilocal reviewer $ 2 in a previous review, same as me! Watch out!

Great homemade food for a pretty decent price! Also, the older woman in charge has always been as nice as can be.

Tasteless food, salty salad, really expensive groceries… awful costumer service. The lady overcharged me $ 2 and I asked her to put it back on my card or give me cash. She was really mean and said it is not possible and to take something from the store for $ 2. I start arguing and she pretty much told me to shut up. so I had to take a coke. The lady before me also was having some problems with her receipt. Be careful that lady will try to overcharge you. I prefer to buy some Mediterranean from Northglenn, even with the gass money still will be cheaper.
