Buddha’s & Goudha’s

This may not be the greatest head shop ever, and may not survive on the Pearl St. Mall.
But where else are you gonna find a hula hoop in a local store? Not the toy kind, but a grown-​up hula hoop. They have multiple sizes! Yay!
I called Into The Wind first, and they were nice enough to point me here.

The only arrogant head shop in Boulder!
I bought a nice water pipe months ago and have been in for replacement slides several times. The young guy who is usually behind the counter is great and has been super helpful.
The short-​haired lady working today (8−3−15 — not that anything will actually be done…) was incredibly rude and short with me. I was thrown at first; I hadn’t expected personal attacks from a retailer. She told me my stuff was «filthy» and that she basically didn’t care if I got slides there.
Today it’s slides, tomorrow it’s a huge pipe. I’m happy to say that B&G’s will NEVER GET MORE MONEY FROM ME!
(Conclusion: I got the slides in 5 minutes over at Green Pipe on Pearl. And will go there every time in the future. So pointless and stupid to attack and piss off a good customer. I was just trying to support a local store and now I want them to close. Good work, lady.)

I had been here before and probably spent atleast a grand at this shop. When I walked in I was immediately asked for my ID without ya proper greeting. Then the girl continued to trail me the entire time I was in there. And when she wasnt right behind me she was staring at me over the shelves on the 2^nd floor. She made me horribly uncomfortable and I felt very unwelcome. I would not recommend this shop to anyone after my last visit.

Horrible customer service. I bought something today, came back within an hour to return it (because I’d found something else I wanted more somewhere else), and they would not refund my money. So – you obviously don’t care if I’m not a happy customer. I’m just not used to that lack of concern for your reputation. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Love this special local shop! They hand pick each piece, always made with highest quality glass by local artists, just for their customers. Knowledgable and welcoming the staff has always helped with any questions or issues and loves taking the time to work with you to find the perfect piece. The best part is they clearly love their job, making it a comfortable experience for those who don’t know much about glass. Thanks guys!

I wandered into Buddha’s & Goudha’s one day and chatted with BreAnn (who I think is the manager there). I was brand new to smoking and very nervous about getting started. Not only did she spend a lot of time with me to educate me on how things work, but she was also very encouraging. That gave me the confidence to get an inexpensive pipe and dive into the world of smoking.
I’ve since been back there a few times and just picked up a beautiful $ 300 glass bong with BreAnn’s help (she spent a good 30 minutes helping me choose). The employees I’ve encountered at B&G (4 different women so far) are not only professional, but incredibly welcoming. You almost feel like you’re walking into a friend’s house when you arrive.
I was a little surprised at seeing the negative reviews on here, but then I remembered that people aren’t often motivated to come to Unilocal to leave glowing reviews. So for every negative experience, there are probably 100 positive ones that go unmentioned. I don’t usually come on here and leave reviews, but my experience there was SO positive that I wanted to.

If you appear to be under the age of at least 21 the employees awkwardly follow you around the store. Not only that, they have a bogus store policy of not accepting returns or even exchanges despite it being unused.
All about the money and not about the satisfaction of their customers.
Mile High and Green Pipe on pearl is where I’m taking my business from now on.

Poor customer service. I went in looking for a new screen for my Arizer V-​Tower vaporizer. The person at the counter was not familiar with my equipment, and neither was the other employee she asked about it. That wasn’t really a big deal because I don’t know how common those apparatuses are, but I was hoping she could still help me out in some way. She directed me to the screens they had hanging on the wall — none of which were right — and then offered no further help, virtually pushing me out the door with a fake apology. I won’t return.

A really cool smoke shop! There are lots of great glass pipes here and of course lots of variety and supplies for hookah. There are lots of really unique pipes here. There was a squid shaped pipe that I really liked. This seems to have an edge over the few other smoke shops I have gone to as far as unique glass pipes go. The girl that worked here was really congenial and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future reference!

After seven years of not breaking anything I broke the bowl for my tube one morning. I was pretty pissed, but felt fortunate that I live within walking distance of three different head shops. I didn’t want anything too elaborate, just a plain glass on glass bowl. I went to Mile High, then Green Piece and then finally here to determine which spot had the best price and piece. I saw these pretty cool bowls at Mile High that they also had here, the only difference was B & G’s were $ 5 more. The girl that was helping me was very friendly and she said that she could match the price; I thanked her and said I had a few more errands to run but would be back very shortly. When I came back she was nowhere to be found and a guy was at the counter. I brought the bowl to him and explained the deal I had made with the other employee earlier. I didn’t think it was anything she wasn’t supposed to do since I haggle almost every time I buy a piece. I could automatically tell by his reaction that she wasn’t supposed to be making deals. He stormed off leaving me at the counter where I could hear him laying into the girl as if she had just desecrated his grandmother’s grave. I obviously felt terrible and when he came back I told him I would just go get the piece at Mile High. Before I could even finish he went on a tirade about how Mile High imports all their glass from China and this is authentic «Chaos Glass.» I ended up buying the bowl and on my way out the guy yelled «they import their glass from China» one more time for good measures. This was the first time I have left a head shop with a new piece feeling anything except pure bliss, thanks buddy.
The second star was for the employee who originally helped me. Not because she gave me a good deal, I would have understood if they could not match the price, but because she was polite and made me feel welcome.
