Was quite surprised to find such an awesome example of art deco architecture circa 1930’s at the end of the Pearl Street Mall. At first I thought it was some type of castle yet upon approaching realized it was the Court House, still functional and appears to be in good shape. When walking around photographing it, it was staggering to imagine what sort of feat it was to construct this in 1933.

I went down to the Land Use and Planning Department for some out of state buyers recently. The ladies behind the desk were very helpful in providing all permits on a specific property to me. There were 35 pages, double sided, all printed and delivered on the spot! Then a member of the planning department came downstairs to decipher the documents with me. Everyone was extremely helpful to both me and my potential buyers!
