This is some pretty great food! Tots? Good, Salad? SIDE Caesar Salad? Good. It’s kinda like a good Wisconsin pub in Boulder!

As my friend from WI will tell you, the Attic is a Wisconsonian bar. I may have made that word up, but whatever. The owners are from Wisconsin. «So,» she said, «Tater tots!!!» Not going to lie — the tots are awesome. I usually ask for them to be unsalted. I love coming to the Attic on Tuesdays because… TACOTUESDAYS… and we all know how much I love tacos. I had three(a pork, a chicken, and a steak/beef + a dozen and a half tots) and I was mighty full. I think that two tacos + three dozen tots may be the perfect combination. But I digress. The tacos were delicious and the shells were fabulous as well, kinda like they took a great tortilla and deep fried it to create this crunchy goodness. The food aside, it’s a great little spot for happy hours.(and we all know how much I love happy hours…) I must add a note here and add that The Attic on Friday/Saturday nights are a little less awesome. It’s not The Attic’s fault, but the fault of the hordes of college-aged bros and gals taking over the place. TLDR: Tater tots — yum. Taco Tuesdays — yay. Happy hour — yes. Friday nights at 10:30pm — crowded.

Stopped in for a little drink, I wasn’t to impressed with the waitress, she was kinda grumpy, but the Cuban sandwich made up for it. Plus we had another waitress replace her, so that helped. My favorite part of my stop in was the fat Albert cocktail, koolaid vodka and something else… Lol was quite tasty. I’ll come back just for that.

I’m from Wisconsin. I know cheese curds. Attic has the best cheese curds I’ve had in Colorado. This alone is worthy of 5 stars in my book. I went to the Attic to watch a football game. I know some may disagree, but I liked having classic rock playing instead of piping in the commentators. It was brunch, so I had a couple bloody marys and a very nice omelette. Service was very attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely return.

Not fine dining, but still a great place to come play some pool and watch the game. Very friendly staff and definately a mid-west vibe about the place. 5 stars as long as you know it’s not the fancy smancy resturant pearl can be known for. I recommend the fries, cooked perfectly everytime. I got a french dip slider this go around, good layers of flavor, would certainly get it again.

I made a take out order with hungry buffs. I got the classic burger and a full order of the fried cheese curds. The burger was alright, kinda soggy and sad lettuce. The $ 10 order of cheese curds tasted good but it was a very small portion. My friends joke that I like my salt with a side of food, but both the cheese curds and tots that came with the burger were way, way to salty for me.

This place was pretty darn good! The wife and I came early Saturday after The Boulder Art Festival. We wanted to split the fish & chips and try the cheese curds. I asked the very attentive waitress if she could substitute the cheese curds instead of the fries. Hmm. I said«yes you can» and she made it happen. Excellent answer! Both exceptionally good! Met the owner with his two charming children. Very nice people! Came here because fellow Unilocalers said the” best fish & chips in town”. You guys were right! Awesome place and looks as if the night life would be fun as well. Across the street from the St. Julien. From Arvada, but would definitely give it a second shot when in town! Cheers!

Got to go. $ 8 is the saddest excuse for such a small portion of cheese curds. I could have gotten an entire meal somewhere for the cost of about 12 fried cheese curds. They do taste good, but that price(with tax amounting to $ 10 for a pick up) is RIDICULOUS. Don’t know if I will come back. I usually like their $ 5 burger Mondays, but this really turns me off.

Stopped for quick drinks on a friday night. Cool spot on pearl. Good priced drinks with a super friendly bartender. It was fairly busy but we were still able to get a spot by the window and people watch.

We went for a short, casual lunch with someone from my office. I had the chicken caesar salad and my lunch partner had the fish and chips. Both are amazing!

Right off of Pearl Street and great place! Best place in Boulder as far as I’m concerned. — it’s a Green Bay packer bar(FYI) — the bartender was wicked awesome — the food was great(bar food and awesome tater tots) — they make«Fat Alberts» which are«vodka and ghetto kool aid! — Great for watching sports — pool and other games — great leather couches to chill on Go here for sure!

This rating is definitely biased because it is a badger/packer bar in Boulder! Love the vibe of the place, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is above average for bar fare. Plus they have cheese curds! Made me feel right at home. Also, did I mention it’s a badger/packer bar? Obviously that makes it hands down the best bar in Boulder.

I second it… This IS a great place to see live music! The venue is clean and well kept. The drinks are well made and the beer selection is adequate. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food, but I didn’t eat tonight. There are plenty of video games in the back. These are fun for gaming out and waiting for the music to start. It is definitely a casual place. Don’t get all gussied up to come. Just wear your Uggs and a flannel. You will fit in, feel comfortable and enjoy yourself.

This is a bar person’s bar! Solid selection, friendly staff, great pub food. I must say I never come here on busy bar nights, but I truly enjoy visiting for lunch for a great burger, beer and community!

Not sue what the hype about this place is. The line was around the corner to get in on a Friday night. Once in, the bar is upstairs and it smelled awful. There were a ton of people and two main bar areas. To the left of the stairs or to the right. To the right are some pool tables, but it is so crowded, I’m not sure how anyone can have properly play the game. To the left is a more open area with some tables, but mostly standing room. Despite the number of people there, the wait for drinks is not bad. My favorite part of the bar(besides leaving) was the photobooth machine they have. It proved to be quite entertaining and you can even post the photos to social media right from the machine. I suppose this would be a decent place to end your night, which is what we did on this occasion.

We were walking by the Attic down Walnut, when I saw a sign for a great happy hour. It is literally tucked away in the attic of this building, and is a great little bar and bistro. I love when you can find a neat place that way, just walking by. We had a beer and some fabulous cheese curds! Chris, the bartender, was so friendly. What a great place! Lots of flat screen TV’s and a great bar area and happy hour everyday! All beers on happy hour were $ 2.50! The owners are from Wisconsin, so there is tons of Green Bay and U. of Wisconsin stuff on the walls, hence the cheese curds, which we love! Great time, and we will be back.

So. .. here’s the thing. We ordered take-out. And most of the unsatisfying part of our experience came as a result of their army of staff(all of whom, it seems, tried to talk to me and refute one another) struggling to understand that. So let’s start with the positive — burgers, good. Sweet potato fries on side of burger, also good. Chicken tenders were. .. fine — neither good nor bad. Cheese curds and tots were great. Desserts — ultimately good though upon checking the order I found they had left parts of them out.(glad I checked before I left even though it fristrated the server who handed me the bags!) The negative — upon showing up for my takeout, nearly 30 minutes after placing the order, they first told me it would be «up in about 10 — 15 minutes.» Then I was asked, «You’re the delivery person, right?» Followed mere seconds later by, «Your takeout order will be ready in just a minute» by a different staff person and then right on the heels of that one, «we can’t find your order — who are you? what’s your number?» Sorry guys, but this kind of bad communication with four people giving me four different stories means that at LEAST2 of you were lying, and probably a third was not paying attention to her job. I waited for 5 minutes. .. 10 minutes. .. 15 minutes. When i finally pointed out that if I had waited 45 minutes after ordering in their restaurant that I’d be asking to see a manager I got a long speech about how they don’t generally do take out. Uhh, then why are you listed on Hungry Buffs as both a takeout and delivery option? After another 5 minutes the order came out. .. incorrectly. This farce was capped off with one staff member telling me that I should just order delivery instead because they don’t do take out(you don’t deliver to my house. . and thanks for making this my fault) and then(I couldn’t make this up if I tried!) another staff member coming from the back of the kitchen a moment later and handing me their menu and saying, «next time you want to pick up just call us directly for a take out order!» Bahahaha. Have fun serving the college crowd — we’re grown ups and you’ll need to get your acts together a bit more before we’ll be back.

Sweet Potato fries– Generous portions. Came limp not crispy :(I bet they are great in the restaurant but delivery made them soggy, especially when they don’t put holes in the box. Steak Fries– Also limp due to having no holes in packages, but really good otherwise Ribs– Has a charboiled taste, VERY tender Cheesesteak– Reminds me of the kind of cheesesteaks served in NJ diners. Pretty good! Buffalo Wings– Very crispy and not too spicy. Overall, I am impressed and this place would be an A+ if it wasn’t for the soggy fries. Will probably be coming back.
