Get something in writing about cancelling your membership is right! My daughter was charged a re-up membership one year and four months(October 2014) after her last visit. Not only is their cancellation policy not found on their website, they could not produce a copy of the agreement at their location on Pearl St in Boulder. When I asked the store clerk, Amanda, she could not place me in contact with her manager Heather Greene and that we must email her to be in contact with her. I wonder if the Boulder District Attorney knows the business practices of these money grabbers? Come Monday, I will file a complaint with the BBB and DA. Beware of this place!

Love tanning here! The prices are great especially when you get a membership, and they have an awesome selection of lotions. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable and they always help me with whatever I need. Love this place.

I’ve been a customer at this location for a few years. I come once a week to a clean and busy establishment. Unfortunately I’ve seen many employees come and go, but they’ve always been sweet and helpful. I’ve never been sold anything I didn’t want(learn to say«no, thank you») and I’ve never had problems with my account, that I didn’t cause(late fees). All around I’m very happy being a member here. I get free upgrades to a top notch bed every other month. When I do need a new lotion, the employees are very informative. Now if they could just get rid of the ‘Jersey Shore’ cartoon spokesperson :)

First off, I will say this, make sure that you sign something when you cancel your account or you will continue to get charged and there is no way that you can get a refund. PAYATTENTIONTOCANCELATIONTERMS!!! Secondly, thank goodness for Kristal. She worked with me one on one to help figure out my situation and get it resolved working around my crazy schedule. Every time I see her she’s always extremely helpful and chipper. If there’s anyone that you should talk to to help you out, it’s her(She get’s 5 stars). Kristal’s a ray of sunshine ‘at the beach’.(Get it?)

If I was reviewing just the girl at the front desk, I’d give it 5 stars. She was friendly and helpful. But you can tell this company is forcing these employees to sell you the top of the line package. I came in due to the commercial advertising 30 visits for $ 20 and no contract. Yeah, right. First, try doubling the $ 20 to $ 40 because you have to also purchase a membership. Next, plan on signing up for a contract even though the deal explicitly says«no contract». Sure, you can cancel at any time, but if you forget to cancel, you’ll keep getting money withdrawn from your account… yes you have to give them a credit card and sign away your life. Also, plan on spending at least 15 minutes going through the tour and hearing how bad the cheap«coupon» beds are and how great the $ 200 beds are. And then you go through several pages of the contract and signing page after page. As for the facility itself, it was okay. I bought the cheap bed using the coupon… which btw, the coupon only saves you $ 5. I thought it was going to be something great. The floor in the room was ice cold… can we get a rug to stand on? Also, not a single mirror to check out the bed head so you hope you’re leaving the place looking okay. I don’t know what the nicer bed rooms are like, but the cheap bed rooms are not given any attention. I think it’s only a matter of time before the lawsuits start coming from their false advertising. I won’t be back after my «deal» expires. I’d rather pay more at some other tanning salon that is being honest.

Awful. They overcharge and will up the price of your tanning packages wtihout telling you. VersaSpas are ALWAYS broken and employees change frequently because this place sucks. I can’t even cancel my membership without paying a 180 dollar fee, so I’m stuck with these incompetent people who try to sell me things every single time I am there. Have met some nice employees, but for the most part i have never ever had a good experience here.

I hope I don’t have to give this place a star. It DOESNOT even deserve one. I have had a membership(dumbest idea ever as most other people are saying on other Unilocal sites for this place) yesterday I went in and it’s the third time there was no solution in the VersaSpa. When the District Manager, Jennifer, was informed she replaced it and never reset the booth for me. Ugh, now I am standing there naked waiting for 15 min bc she told me she would reset it. Waiting for green blinking light. Nothing. I had to call down the hallway to another employee to reset it for me, and then she told me «You have to get dressed and come out here to do your fingerprint again». No apology– nothing. I said«Can’t you override it, I already did it?! I am not dressed» She said, «That’s the way it works, ma’am». When I went to speak with the district manager after wards she argued with me and told me, «You are upset because there is no solution?»(sarcastic, condescending way) «Well, there is nothing we can do about that». I said«its happened 3 times to me». Your employees can’t periodically check if the box is empty by hand? You are THAT lazy that you need a meter to do it for you? Wow. Shake the box you will be able to tell. Even then, I said«So you are not willing to offer me anything for my trouble today?» She said, «it’s not in my power to do anything for you.» And you’re the District Manager?! Last month both VersaSpa booths were broken, but again the employee put me in both of them. I waited, and called down to him. No apology. Seriously, you’re job is NOT that hard. These people need a lesson in customer service. It’s so terrible. Things happen, but APOLOGIZESINCERELY and offer something nice. Idiots.

Absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had at a Tanning salon! I found the manager of the store on 28th St to be very condescending. She irritated me by giving a full consultation on eyewear, lotion, upgrades available, etc. everytime I went in to tan(even when I was clearly in a hurry). Finally, after several bad experiences, I decided to cancel my membership and was charged a $ 150 cancellation fee(per their membership contract). I called their corporate Customer Service manager(Jennifer) and was placed on hold for over 20 min. She could have cared less about my experience.
