Debra Woo, DDS, MA, ADC

I have to say that ¾ of the work she did for me fell out within 6 months. The work cost a lot of money and now I have to have the work redone. It is unclear to me whether it was inferior materials, or not the right procedures.
If you have to pay for something twice it is generally better and cheaper to have done it right in the first place.
I won’t be back.

The WORST dentist I have EVER been to! She has a huge ego and that is her primary concern. She destroyed a tooth simply because her ego old her she was as capable as an endodontist & she felt she could do a 3 root tooth. NO; she could not. It was agonizing. She also refused to give me pain meds after 2 wisdom teeth were pulled and I had headaches for 2 months. She should not even be allowed to practice.
At 63, I have been to many dentists. She is THE worst. I hope she doesn’t hurt anyone else.

Debra Woo has been my family’s dentist for about three or four years. Her office staff is excellent and I LOVE Wendy the hygienist. Debra herself is very gentle, friendly and gives a very thorough examination. I had been seeing a dentist in Watsonville for years (twice a year) and developed an infection in my gums. I switched dentists soon after that and realized right away that the cleaning and the exam that I got from Wendy and Dr Woo was SO much better than I had been getting from my previous dentist.
I live in Capitola and I know there are dentists that are closer to my home. I think Dr Woo’s expertise and chair-​side manner is worth every extra mile I drive. I recommend Debra’s office to all of my friends.

I really like Dr. Woo’s office. Their office staff has been wonderful to work with! We were in the process of switching Insurance companies when my son had an emergency tooth extraction, and they had no problem working with us for payment. Dr. Woo was wonderful with my 10 year old son – who had never had an extraction or even a cavity. I have special needs when I go see a dentist, and Dr. Woo is more than willing to work with me to make sure that I am comfortable while I’m in the chair! I highly recommend Dr. Woo & her office.

The bar for dentists was raised quite high for me by a dentist (over the hill) in San Jose. With high-​tech equipment, excellent care and a wonderful staff. When my dentist retired, I searched close to home to find an equivalent. That practice was found in Boulder Creek at the office of Dr. Debra Woo.
I did my research by polling many friends and moms about who they went to for dental care. Dr. Woo came up many, many times in conversations and was highly recommended.
My family has been a patient with Dr. Woo for about two years now and we’re very pleased with her care, knowledge, state-​of-​the-​art equipment, and commitment to excellence. The staff at the office reflects Dr. Woo’s caring attitude and is extremely helpful in arranging appointments that fit my busy family’s schedule. Perhaps the most impressive of all is that my son LOVES Dr. Woo. This is a kid that has refused to open his mouth at other dentist’s offices for fear of «The Shot». He was eight years old at the time of his first visit with Dr. Woo. On that visit, she overcome my sons fears with her gentle manner and ensures his comfort using a technology (WAND) to deliver the same medication. When asked about «the shot», he tells me, «There wasn’t one!» (You gotta like that!)
Bottom line: Practicing dentistry in a small town requires excellent service to uphold an excellent reputation. Dr. Woo’s office does just that. Highly recommended.
