I came to the Boulder City Senior Center because I heard they were having a farmers market on Friday’s from 8am to Noon. I wouldn’t have even known that the farmers market was there, but I saw the sign for strawberries! I brought my mom along.(since she’s a senior I figured she was my cover) We walked in and wow! They have all the things for seniors. A library, a reading room, crafts and when we looked to our left a little room with the farmers market people. Definitely the smallest farmers market I’ve ever been too. There were two venders. One lady was selling all kinds of veggies and fruit. While the other lady had all kinds of herbs fresh and dry. Also, she had spring mixes and infused oils. My mom picked out some huge ears of corn, strawberries and she purchased some dry wheatgrass. For as small as the farmers market was they had lots to choose from. The Boulder City Senior Center seems like a great place to get away and interact with other seniors while doing some fun activities. I’ll definitely be back for the farmers market.
