Visited this location on a recent day in BC, after visiting the Charleston location a few times– this one is bigger, with wider selection and friendlier staff. Variety of candles, soaps, and trinkets for gifting, along with the Annie Sloan chalkboard paint and instructional classes available on site. What I really loved about this location was the staff: lady I worked with was super friendly, and gave me a heads up about new location opening up in Henderson next week! I find their products pricey, and I don’t personally use chalkboard paint, so I only really use this store for gifting purposes.

I discovered this place online initially, as I was looking for a local retailer that sells Annie Sloan chalk paint to use on my dresser. It’s a small little shop next to the Boulder Dam Hotel. I walked in as the owner(and I presume her daughter? a younger woman) was working on waxing a small side table. Not only do they sell dozens of shades of AS chalk paint, they also had finishing waxes, brushes, and of course finished furniture pieces for sale, such as armoires, desks, shelves, tables and so on. They also had mirrors, other pieces of wall décor, jewelry, various knick-knacks and trinkets, and I spotted some body products. The owner was helpful and quick and helping me choose what shade of paint to buy — I was deciding between«Pure White» and«Old White.» PW is, obviously, a stark neutral white. OW leans warmer and more subdued. I also bought some finishing wax and she was prompt in ringing me up, and said to give her a call if I had any questions. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and I’d love to come back next time I’m in BC.
