Not impressed at all. The broth is not authentic. Tastes like beef broth out of a can – not true PHO broth. I am a Phở fanatic and know good Phở. Will not return to this restaurant.

Left this place scratching my head and saying«what the phở?» I was immensely disappointed by the quality of food. Service was great, but the #10 brisket and flank phở was just boring on my palette, and the broth wasn’t very flavorful. Egg rolls come as 3 per order, and were nothing more than deep fried and also flavorless. I thought phở wasn’t that hard to mess up, but obviously I was wrong. The egg rolls proved that bland Vietnamese can occur. Not returning when there are such better options on jar about every street corner in Seattle.

Ordered out here on a Sunday evening with some friends. The phở was fine. It was also overpriced. What WASN’T fine, was the order correctness. We ordered over the phone for pick-up, and every time we said an item the person on the other end kept trying to give us our total, and the order wasn’t done. Then we made sure to have her read it back to us, which she did and it was correct. When we got the food back to our house, an entire order of phở was missing and there was another entrée substituted for it. When we called them up to tell them, they told us to come back to get the phở. My buddy went back to get it and they charged him for the phở that they messed up! What’s more the lady said«Oh the old owner didn’t change the website, so the numbers are different. Don’t order from the website.» And she gave him a paper menu. I’m sorry, but YOUR website is YOUR issue. WE didn’t mess anything up. Here’s a little business 101: 1. If you mess up, don’t blame the customer. 2. Everything is on the web now. Make sure your web presence reflects your business accurately. 3. If you mess up, you don’t charge the customer for your mistake! Especially if they had to make two trips because you messed up! If you want to cultivate a customer base which wants to come back, take responsibility and cover the cost. Everyone makes mistakes, it’s a part of life. How you handle those mistakes reveals your character. Will not be going back here again.

I’ve had the phở with meatballs and it wasn’t great. Then I tried their fried rice(which is crazy expensive) and it was just terrible. There are much better places for phở all over this area, don’t go here.

I will NEVER come to the Bothell location again after today! My friends and I used to frequently eat here but over the past few months the service and quality has gone WAY down hill. The food has always been mediocre at best, and the service fine. But within the past 6 months I found a fly in my Phở bowl showed the staff(including the manager) and they just told me sorry. Today, my friend found a GIANTPIECEOFPAPER(see photo I posted) in her Phở bowl. It was insane, we told the staff who barely acknowledged the gross factor. Never apologized once to her nor did they remove the bowl from the table. We had to ask if they still planned on charging her, which he said yes«There is nothing I can do because my manager is not here right now.» We asked him when his manager is coming in and he said(I kid you not) «I couldn’t tell you». WHAT?! We waited about 5 more minutes then my other friend walked up to another waitress with pretty eyes(who was the only one who seemed like she cared) and told her that she can take my friends check off the bill because she is not paying. And how we couldn’t wait for the manager anymore. She then let us know that the older woman behind the bar WAS the manager. So she was there the entire time!!! I just cannot get over how badly my friend was treated in this whole experience. I am never coming back here ever again and unless you want to find things in your food I suggest you dine elsewhere as well.

«What the phở?» is exactly what I thought after eating here. We walked in on a Sunday around lunch time after church, on a typical PNW rainy day. You’d expect more than one server on staff, right? Nope. Poor girl(who was a great server and the only reason I even give this place 2 stars) had to serve and bus the entire place by herself. We waited at the front door to be seated and the rest of the staff(bartender, back kitchen) all looked our way, but did nothing to step in and help the lone server. We ordered the chicken wings appetizer, which were doused in a sweet and spicy sauce that tasted like it came straight out of a bottle. The phở broth was bland to say the least, and the noodles were just — off. They didn’t seem to be quite cooked all the way. Or maybe they were just bad quality.

This place is really good I’m going to consider it my new favorite spot for phở’. I have only had the phở’ here but the flavor is really good and portions were awesome… and I don’t think they use MSG(forgot to ask, but I will next time) either because I didn’t walk out feeling like my hands and face we’re going to explode… oh and the full bar is a nice bonus

I went in with a groupon for an order to go. There’s plenty of parking. The staff was friendly, and my order was accurate(VERY important in a to-go!). My order(shrimp phở and spring rolls) was ready in a reasonable amount of time. The food was acceptable, nothing to write home about, but no complaints, either. With the groupon, it’s a super-cheap, filling dinner for one.

Phở soups are OK, they don’t provide much basil as others do and have to specificly ask for chili paste. Not happy with their stir fried curry or virmacilli noodles. The quality of pork provided was questionable. Not sure if grilled before and reheated. Service is very good and friendly.

This is the place I go for my Phở. I always crave at night the only down side is I wish they were open til 11pm. I always get a #15 phở, its my favorite. And i also oder extra noodle I never can get enough. Price is normal. I like to order to go and prepare it at home. I do tend to eat in sometimes and it is a relaxing, quite setting. This is great if your sick! Like magic soup! I do recommended this restaurant. Bubble teas are okay, but not the best out there.

This is my go to phở place, especially when I need it quickly. The broth is very flavorful compared to other phở places. I typically order the Phở Tai Chin Nam. When I order out, the wait time is only 10 minutes. The portions are large enough for a small to be a sufficient meal. The large phở soup is enough for two meals. Pricing is a little on the high side in my experience but worth it for good broth and fair portions. The ambiance inside the place is more high end than most other phở places. Four stars for great broth, fast carry out, and good ambiance. Pricing could be better, however.

Worst service ever, they were understaffed, had rude servers, and took forever. The waitress seemed inconvenienced to be serving us. Only decent thing about this place is the phở was decent and the fresh spring rolls are pretty good, otherwise– wouldn’t go back

We had basil beef and veggies and phở. I always like their flavors. Their ingredients are always fresh. Service is good and servers are always courteous. The tables are clean. It can get a little loud but you can’t control how loud people are.

I can’t really get over that we were served gross spoiled looking chicken, to even write a review. Showed the server and she showed the cook, after awhile she came out and said it was fine but she would let us swap it for something else. Ummm… if that chicken looks fine to you(after you guys were debating it for awhile) then we need to go else where for food. There is a picture above.

What’s not to like? I’ve always been really happy with the phở here, and have tried other dishes in the past that were flavorful and made with care and expertise. The interior design is pretty– large & colorful nature prints on the wall, and a super clean and modern restaurant in general. Not too big, not too small, and in the 5 – 10 times I’ve been, it hasn’t been very crowded so the service is prompt and attentive. I like this place. I guess the only down side is its pricier than my favorite phở spot«Than Brothers» … But not by much! Fair price and good value.

I like it here. A lot. Maybe too much. The food is fresh. It is delish. Hot stuff is hot. Cold stuff is cold. They do tendon right. The atmosphere is nice. I’m not crazy about the staff — sometimes they act like maybe they would rather be somewhere else. I also think it is a little more expensive than it should be. I eat phở quite often. This place charges about 50% more than my favorite place. I don’t get it. Is it the Buddha pictures on the wall? Do you pay extra for the slight attitude? Maybe that is it. I will not quit you WTP.

Not the best phở I’ve had in the least, but the server we got was excellent. He was attentive, and great. I got the meatball phở, and while it’s not the best I’ve had, it was decent. Their broth was good, and they were speedy, which was enough. But I didn’t like the texture of the meatballs, and maybe that’s just me! It still tasted fine! I ordered the bubble tea as well, and as much as I wanted to like What the Phở!, it just didn’t do it for me. But the service was excellent, making me want to give them the benefit of the doubt. So prove me wrong, WtP, please, because I really really want to like you!

Service was prompt & friendly, courteous. Ordered #14 phở(tendon and tripe) and Goi Cuon(spring rolls) Goi Cuon looked/tasted good. Peanut sauce was unimpressive. Broth was ok. Noodles were in a big ‘glop’. Rare beef was good but sparse. Tendon was good. Prices were about $ 1 higher per dish than most places. So –1 star for that.

Came here with the family. Ordered the #20(Phở with everything), #10(Phở with steak and brisket), and the grilled chicken on noodles(#36?). I’ve been pretty impressed with the phở in Washington as I’ve been spoiled by the phở in Vancouver BC. Decent broth as it was flavorful. The noodles were ok. The meat was good too. The noodle dish was ok as the sauce needed more flavor. My only complaint would be that they should have larger bowls for the large phở as you need a lot more broth. There was plenty of noodles to fill you up. Would come back again to try the spring rolls and salad rolls.
