Probably the best service and teamwork I have received in years. We never had an empty glass or dirty plate on the table. The food was fresh, hot and served quick. I was truly impressed!

We stopped in for breakfast and it was wonderful. The food was all fresh and fantastic. My husband had a omelette that was huge and I had the crepes. It was a little pricey but totally worth it. Trevor was a great waiter.

It’s long-past time for this review– but I’ll keep it short and sweet. I’ve been coming to the OPH for the past few months every Tuesday morning for business networking. And– Wow! Come for the company, stay for the food… How does the saying go again? Seriously, their food is delicious. I’ve tried several different items on the menu and must admit that I I’m in love with the Irish Omelet– it is #amazing(can I even use hashtags on Unilocal?) If you have time to wait for the omelet, I highly suggest you order it.(You have to wait extra time because they bake them– which take at least 30 minutes. But the omelet comes out looking like an egg/calzone creation!!!) This place is a must-try for anyone who takes their breakfast seriously. The portions are huge and the food is better than you’ll get at any other breakfast place nearby. Plus the coffee is pretty good and the staff is super friendly.

It was my first time here and it will honestly be the last. Food was great, don’t get me wrong but the service was horrible. There were people standing around and complaining about how more customers kept coming in. It was very unprofessional and my friend and I waited way too long for our check.

My husband and I have eaten here a few times, and each occasion was a good experience. We had friendly waiters and the service fast. I love the egg benedict and my husband the good old pancakes and bacon. The food tasted fresh and great!

Had a scramble. On par with every other scramble from places I have liked. Can’t go wrong with the breakfast fare here.

Awesome experience! Delicious, reasonably priced, $ 25 for 2 with extra sides. Service is cheerful and so fast! My husband and I are so impressed. Christopher was our waiter and our coffee was always full! I highly recommend here as your breakfast spot! We will return!!!

I really wanted to like this place. As a San Diego native, I was excited to learn that this business chain had some locations in Washington. Unfortunately it was not up to par. Pros: Friendly and attentive service by our waitress, clean comfortable and spacious. Quick delivery of our food taking into consideration it was a busy sunday morning. Cons: Small parking lot, Food was bland, I had the eggs benny and my husband had the corn beef and hash. My hollandaise sauce was runny and had no flavor and the hash was bland and again, lacking in flavor. I had the blueberry pancakes as a side and couldn’t finish them. They had a weird artificial bitter taste. Portions are also extremely tiny for what you pay. Should have sticked to Patty’s Eggnest. They had one down the street!

The worst one! This Sunday we were there! I ordered bluberry pancake and my daughter ordered another bluberry pancake from the kids menu! They served us the same pancakes to us! So I had to eat kidssize pancake, and it was terrible, I don’t recommend here

I feel that it’s my civic duty to write this review, because I think that OPH should be well over four stars. I mean, c’mon people — this place makes a mean breakfast! And I know it’s a chain. And I know many of you are(inexplicably) loyal to Saw Mill. But you are wrong if you don’t think this is the best breakfast around! I was so excited when I moved to town less than a year to go to see OPH right up the street from our new house. I’ve eaten at a few OPH’s in Missouri as well, and every one I’ve been to has been amazing. The service is always excellent too! But really, the food tho… Please read this quality document that details how the food is made:
Ask yourself… Is your favorite breakfast place doing these things? Are they freshly-squeezing your juice every day? Are they making pancake batter 100% from scratch using a process that takes multiple days? I seriously doubt it. I personally can taste the quality and care that OPH takes to make the food, and that’s why I don’t mind paying a little more for it and waiting a little bit longer to get it. And if you don’t like the pancakes here, you clearly just don’t like pancakes at all. I cannot help you.

This new location in Bothell is nice and big but the menu and the food quality was exactly the same as the older locations. Fast and friendly, I visited one morning a few weeks ago for a nice sit down breakfast. I had the eggs benedict because this particular chain does not serve my usual go to of chicken fried steak and eggs. Not sure why but either way, the eggs benny was good. The new location is huge but it wasn’t crowded when I visited but what’s with seating people so close together when there is lots of room everywhere? I started out sitting alone where it was quiet but shortly after, two loud women having an ongoing conversation were sat right behind me when there were many other tables available in the dining room. Maybe they wanted me to hurry up and get out? I frequently visit the Ballard location with my parents for breakfast and the Bothell location is just another place where I can grab a good breakfast when I’m out and about. I’m glad that the standards are kept high. The staff was friendly and the food was good. I’ll be back. Thanks for reading.

I was visiting my best friend and his family in the area and they frequent The Original Pancake House. The food portions are huge and tasty, while the service is excellent. We came with 3 adults and 4 kids and only waited about 10 – 15 minutes on a Sunday. In the waiting area, the restaurant puts out coffee(although I’m not a coffee drinker) for patrons and something to snack on(they cut up an oven baked apple pancake which was delicious). As we were seated they immediately took our drink order and brought out water for all of us including kids waters. I ended up getting the chicken sausage omelette with pancakes and home fried potatoes(hashbrowns). The omelettes are oven baked and can take some time, but the wait really didn’t seem that long and everything was so good. The servings, as I mentioned, are pretty big so I ate about half my food and took the rest to go for the next day’s breakfast. I was really impressed with everything about this restaurant from the quality and taste of the food to the great service. Next time I come visit the area again, I’ll probably want to stop by here again.

This was amazing!!! But he had to have another side haha potato and onion hash! All amazing we were so satisfied! Oh btw cream was real cream! Such a nice change for this Aussie! It seems no one uses it in the USA

Their brunch menu on Sunday’s is very good and has a nice selection. If you order the omelet, it will take about 40 mins to get your food so be adviced that they will ask you if you would like it scrambled instead. The location gets full during peak hours so come prepared to scout a parking or do a short walk. The service is very good and the staff is super nice. Their pancake selection is excellent and the food portions are huge! Feel free to take the family. :)

First time here, ordered the ham and cheddar omelet. Please note that I said cheddar and not american processed cheese type product. The waitress said it would be 20 minutes, which is a decent amount of time but I didn’t mind. After waiting five minutes she came by with a slice of apple pancake for free! ! Just to tide me over. Talk about customer service. Only thing that took a start away was that the walls haven’t been cleaned in a few shifts.. Great place.

We eat here regularly because the food and service is consistently very good. The pancakes are fluffy and thick, they have a fairly extensive breakfast menu, on Sundays(maybe other days?) they put out a self-serve complementary apple danish, which shows they respect your time and are grateful for you sticking around for a table, which in our experience never takes very long. This is definitely a family friendly place that gets steady customers, so be prepared for a lot of hustle and bustle around you during the busy time.

Good olé’ Saturday brunch! Came here with a party of four at around 11:30AM and was pleasantly surprised with how quickly we were seated. I love how they do the waffles here! Thin and slightly crisp, I don’t feel like I just ate a handful of flour when I order a waffle :)(Don’t get me wrong, I do love thicker waffles on occasion!) This time I went for the blueberry waffle — at around $ 11, it comes with blueberries and powdered sugar on top. Definitely a sweeter brunch option!
