I was absolutely SAPMMED by cold calling agents when my listing expired. It didn’t matter that I told them I will NOT renew my listing and will not sell, and do NOT need any services. Most agents rudely kept hounding me, «So are you renting or leasing the property then?».
STOP! Leave me alone please. I want to be able to use my cell phone again!
I had if off for a month and a half because of the constant rude calls from all my new best friends ever! :roll eyes:
The calls are still coming months later. I will FSBO in the future. I’ve bought and sold For Sale By Owner before and all went smoothly. The only time I’ve had problems is when I’ve went through a real estate agent.
Calling the broker asking to end the cold calls just brought an increased frequency of calls. My agent was fine but I’ll never use a real estate agency again after this. I’m not even polite to agents anymore. They reap what they’ve sewn.
This industry will die off soon. Craigslist and Unilocal make them a needless expense. Just find a good escrow agent and you’re done with this nuisance that will cost you a steep margin.
