Nothing but problems with this company from day one. The motion detectors didn’t work. I was guaranteed that animals under 30 pounds would not set it off yet my 8 pound cat set it off daily. So I couldn’t use those. The keypad door locks didn’t work. I had to have four of them installed over the course of the year and they charged me 50 bucks every time they come out to fix it when it was their issue. The smoke detector didn’t work right. It went off many times when I was cooking dinner. The videocameras didn’t work right. They stopped recording before the person came in the front door. When I had some of these extra features taken down because they didn’t work they still refuse to reduce my monthly bill. Customer service is no better. I am buying a new house and have a year and a half left on my contract and they will not let me out of it even for a fee. I have to pay the remaining year and a half. Ridiculous. Horrible customer service. Terrible company. Steer clear.

Good concept but service is unreliable, during installation, they blew me off more than once where I took the day off to be at home for installation and they never show. I am now using them but not sure of the junk on my roof is worth it. Think twice before hiring this company. The contract and the rates are in their favor 300%. If you want solar power buy your own panels if you can afford it. But this company has a long way to go as they grow they seems to lack the basics

At first i was skeptical because the representative came by my house around 9pm at night. After asking him for his credentials i let him in my home. I have had this service for two years now and I am very happy. The sales representative was educated and resolved the few concerns that I had. Thank you Vivint.
