Uggh never. Ordered medium well but was cooked well done. Burnt too much outside and dry overall. Overcooked. Clam chowder was heated and vapored over maybe few days? There were only salt and potatoes left. It wasn’t even a dinner time!!! Many workers chatting more than working. Hard to get their attention. It used to be pretty good though but the place changed. Manager discounted my bill but still was not worth my dime. You know what I am talking about. Not a hot spot.

Unos is actually my favorite restaurant and yet it’s come to this – a two star review. This particular Unos I’ve been to more times than I can count and I’ve had at least 3 other bad customer service experiences, but the one I had tonight takes the cake. The guy I had twice before was so negligent that I got his name from my check and memorized it so that when I returned I’d ask that they seat me anywhere but his area. I came in today and asked for a one person booth for one and she says they don’t have any so they had to seat me in the back where all the tables are. Ok, no real problem, but I was there alone, and it wasn’t peak hours just yet; it was obvious that I just wanted to eat and enjoy a meal with minimal disturbance or distraction. And yet, she tried to seat me DIRECTLY next to another person at a table, even though the whole space where the tables were was empty. I said no, I’d like to sit over there please(referring to a small table on the other side) and she obliged. It just seemed like common sense and common courtesy to me. Even in mall foodcourts, total strangers don’t sit directly next to one another, let alone at an uncrowded sit-down restaurant. Then, maybe 10 minutes later, they came back and seated a party of two DIRECTLY next to me. It was extremely awkward because the rest of the area was just about empty and fairly quiet, and they were so close to me. I was irritated; she easily could have sat them at any other of the 5 empty tables and the waitress assigned to that area wouldn’t have been inconvenienced. I was going to try to tough it out, but the woman at the table turned out to be particularly loud, borderline obnoxious in my opinion. I put on my headphones(not earbuds, but headphones) to drown her out, even though I’d intended specifically to come there to read while I ate dinner. Could still hear her loud and clear. I tactfully asked the waitress if they had a table available up front, and she responds, «no, they’re all taken. I can serve you here» pointing to the table 4 inches to my right. I responded«No, that would be the same thing», trying to maintain my tone of voice. And though my request to be moved was clearly code for«get me out of here please! NOW.», she wouldn’t oblige. They lied. There were tables available. I discovered this when, only moments after they brought out my order, I quickly gathered all of my uneaten food and was walking out to leave with it. They just didn’t want to move me because of the inconvenience of either having to switch me to another waiter, or her having to serve me outside of her table area. My whole issue really is that they don’t seem customer service centered and reading some of the other reviews, they don’t make common sense decisions with their customers. 3 distinct times I’ve walked out of there in a huff because of the treatment. I also agree with some of the other reviewers, they tend to take a little too long, even when it’s not crowded. I wouldn’t recommend this location at all just because the service is too much of a gamble, you never know what you’re gonna get. To be fair, the food is consistent and I have had some really good waiters here and there, but again, it’s too much of a gamble.

I had super high expectations for this place but it was more like a chain east coast chain like Chile’s. The interior is nice, they have good selection of beer and cocktails but their deep dish pizza sadly was not phenomenal– a bit burnt on top and it took them 20minutes to bring my order out. Overall If you like chain style restaurants this place may be for you.

After spending some time here this evening. Bar service here is awesome. Food comes fast and is never a let down. Not my top places to pick out and eat at but is a great place to go and watch the game if sitting at the bar. The bartender is awesome she really is an awesome person. Great behind the bar and never lets a person down. All and a return is a must

So I’ve been working a block away for almost 5 years now and finally went to this Uno location for the first time with coworkers for lunch. The place was not busy for Friday lunch and service was quick and attentive. Standard fare–(pizza obviously, but also sandwiches, salads, etc.) There also a lot of lunch specials available during the weekday lunch hours to choose from – I went with the lunch combo of power salad/pizza of the day Good deal, a lot of food for 10 bucks, saved most of my pizza for my next lunch. The food came out quickly and no surprises or disappointments with taste/quality/appearance. If you’re a soup fiend, you can order unlimited soup for lunch — might come back to that when the weather gets colder. A neat touch that I’m starting to hear different restaurants offer, but actually saw for the first time here – every table has this touch tablet where you can order apps/drinks, or purchase tablet games to play(if your current portable device leaves much to be desired, or you want to ignore your fellow diners), and pay the bill. It does not however, allow you to order entrees – you need to get some face time with the server. No complaints, so I’ll be back.

We went here because it was close to where we were and we got a discount with the boston go card. I’m really glad we did! Our server was so friendly and attentive. He even wrote down his name for us. No trying to remember it or not hearing it! The food was delicious as well as reasonable. We did the 2 for $ 12 deal and split it. There were four of us so we did two of the deals and ended up paying only $ 6 a person plus drinks. Great deal because you can do two entrees if you want or you can do a salad and an entrée.

After an incredible birthday dinner for Jesse D at an amazing sushi restaurant we found ourselves hungry again around midnight. There was not much open near our hotel in Back Bay and after filtering on Unilocal«what’s open now» we found Uno. The bar side was crazy packed so we opted for seating in the restaurant side of Uno. As we waited for our pie to arrive we enjoyed a nightcap of beer & wine. They have this electronic deal at the table where you can play trivia which kept us entertained for a bit. The pepperoni pizza itself was rather average but hit the spot. This would not be my first choice of places to eat in the area but if you need a late night fix that is not too crowded Uno is not a bad option.

I love uno’s, they have great food and very reasonable prices. However the service this time was horrible. The waitress was impatient and rude and would not elaborate when we had questions about the menu. Then when we weren’t satisfied with our dish since it wasn’t cooked right, she made a face when she had to change it.

I bit into my burger and what was in my mouth? An earring. Whatever, I’m still alive to tell about it, but the problem that I have is with the reaction of the restaurant. When we told the manager about it he asked where it could have come from? I said, an ear maybe? He said no, was it in the cheese or the meat? I feel he was looking to blame the manufacturer because even though their menu says fresh, never frozen meat, the manager went on to explain that they make their burgers, but they don’t MAKE them. Wouldn’t want to expose the misleading advertising, but wouldn’t want to be blamed for the«add body piercing» option either. hmmm what to do? To their credit, we really liked our waitress. Not her fault. Anyway, when the bill came the full price was on there. Including the burger. It was only when we asked for some compensation that they removed the price of one burger and a dessert. We ended up paying for one burger and two beers,(making our 10 dollar coupon invalid which is why we went there in the first place tbh). 21 dollars later I feel like maybe they should have just been like«have a nice day, don’t sue us!»

I took some shrimps in a kind of burger and I went totally crazy. Here the food is really nice and the service is kinda perfect. The only problem could be the price in relation of what you are going to eat. It may seems cheap but if you’re really hungry you’re going to order more than one plate, which could end in paying too much for what you ate.

I just went to the Boston Marathon Finish Line on Boylston Street. The restaurant is located right there. They advertise beer and local beer for $ 6.00. Don’t let that sign fool you. They have beers as low as $ 3.60. During happy hour their appetizers are half price. We pigged out on their sampler, and I washed it down with a cold 20 oz. beer, my bill was less than $ 11.00. My server was Joee, she provided great service. Two thumbs up for her.

This place is split in two different areas, the restaurant and the bar. I was in the bar in order to have some beers in new locals. We sat outside of the bar, in a small area with few tables. I must say we waited a lot of time until one of the staff member attended us, then the chaos began. We asked us if we want a tablecloth or not, and we said we were only having some drinks. Then another waitress came and told us that sitting outside is exclusively for people that have something to eat. We had no problem of going inside, we chose a table and we ordered the drinks. There are tall and common tables, so for having some drinks we sticked with a tall table. They have wine, beer and cider, so everyone of us has an option. Inside the bar there are a lot of TV screens, each one with a different channel(I promise !), usually sports. We had our drinks and we waited a lot in order to get the bill back to us, but it was much less pricey than other bars in this area. Nevertheless to say, some days they have promotions, so check them out if you want to get a good deal.

The deep pan pizzas here were pretty good. The crust was a little dense for my liking and there wasn’t enough toppings. The waiters were not very nice when I went to get my takeout because I didn’t give them a tip(didn’t bring enough money and plus they didn’t service me any food) so I guess this UNO is an ok place for pizza

WOULDNOTRECOMMEND. TOTALDISRESPECTTOCUSTOMERS. I and my wife diceded to drop in after long walk in Boston something like a year ago. It was pretty cold outside. We were sited and then… were waiting and watching how waiters were passing by and throwing glances at us for 30 minutes(!!!). Only then they gave us a menu with the words«Oh, for how long have you been waiting?». I never thought giving guests a menu and asking if they would like something to drink is that hard and takes that long. I’m not picky regarding restaurants service, I can understand and accept many things. But this place is of a kind: «If not you, then some turist will come anyway». P. S. Though, have to say, an UNO restaurant in Framingham left quite the opposite feeling — the quality of service there is wonderful. So, I would not average all UNO restaurants using my review ;)

General Manager«Chris» is kicking us out for a «time limit» for Marathon Monday despite the fact we are still ordering food and drinks. Waitress is great but management is rude and not worth the time. Would not recommend ever with this kind of service. You don’t throw away good patrons.

I work nearby and have ordered here three times in the past six months, and they have YET to get an order made correctly. Now, you may think my orders are overly complicated, or detailed, and you might be right. But folks in the restaurant biz take complex orders all the time! So you think they’d be able to roll with the punches. Here’s the complicated order I placed today: Pizza of the day(light sauce) and a caesar salad(sub ranch for caesar). Got all that? I know, man. It’s a lot to take in. I’ll give you a few minutes to take notes and strategize how you will possibly get that order to the kitchen without the chef murdering you. /end sarcasm In all seriousness, the first time, they put red sauce on a sauceless pizza(my colleague is allergic, which I specifically told them). They made me a new pizza, but it took another 15 minutes out of my work day, which is a headache for me. The second time, I waited for ATLEAST five minutes UNAKNOWLEDGED at the pick up counter while employees passed me, avoiding eye contact. What the hell?! To add insult to injury, they didn’t give me any salad dressing with my salad. Which I didn’t check(no brainer, right?) because I was too busy making sure the pizza had no red sauce. Had to go all the way back. THEN discovered I’d been overcharged. The server courteously offered to refund it, but then went and helped customers that came in AFTER me. Again — no aknowledgement of the value of my time. I walked out. He came after me a few minutes later with my refund in hand, which I definitely appreciate, but the errors shouldn’t happen in the first place. Cut to today and the order above. Specifically ordered from the«two for U» menu, which, in writing is «guaranteed in 10 minutes or less». The server on the phone takes my order, puts me on hold for about 2 minutes(not sure why…) and then says«okay got it you’re all set, 15 – 20 minutes». Um, what? That’s literally double the time stated on the menu. At this point it’s not worth it for me to argue, because 1. I’m not starving yet and 2. I hate spit pizza so I don’t make a stink when placing orders. I went to pick up my order, which was ready when I got there about 15 minutes later. Everything looks okay, yay. Pizza is delish! Salad is shady… I’ve thrown away fresher lettuce at home. Oh and there’s(NOTEXAGGERATING) 2 pieces of shredded cheese. Two. One, two. Righhhht… So, I won’t come back. Or recommend it. Or even resist the urge to dive slo-mo as if taking a stray bullet in front of a friend who tries to eat there. Because the service doesn’t even qualify as sketchy, it’s flat out bad. The servers — when they pay attention to you — are nice but poorly trained. Same goes with the kitchen staff, apparently. Extra star ONLY because the hot food really is good if you’re having a fat-kid Friday moment.

There are two sides to Uno, the bar and the dining area. The bar didn’t have any prices on their drinks menu so we went to the dining side which did display prices. Can’t fault the service, location, price etc but we got the deep dish pizza which I thought was just awful. I can see from other reviews some people love it but it tasted like a frozen pizza from a supermarket. 3 stars for all the other aspects,

What happened? This place used to be a 5 star. The bad : 1) Nobody served us until 25+ mins later. It was not even busy. Guests who arrived after us were acknowledged immediately. They were seated nearby us so it was impossible that the waiter saw them and not us? 2) Another 20+ minutes for the food to arrive. When he came with the food, I also asked for the bill because grabbing it afterwards may be another 20 mins. 3) Waiter disappeared after he brought us food so no refills on water, did not ask how we are doing etc 4) I almost walked up to the register to pay. We had our cards out immediately we received our bill 5) Bug in my water. Luckily the waiter didn’t have time to ask for water refills. The good : 1) The cheese sticks are still tasty(not heavily battered). Too bad the waiter didn’t bring them out sooner because the plate should be served immediately. They are supposed to be hot and gooey/cheesy on first bite but they were only lukewarm 2) The 2 for $ 12 deal is great and affordable lunch options. Overall experience was terrible. We may have quicker service sitting at the bar.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. I can’t believe the service today. First of all, our party of 6 was seated by the hostess and then waited for 20 minutes. We asked a waitress for someone to help us, and she asked the hostess about it. We overheard the hostess saying to the waitress in a disgusted tone«they were only waiting for one minute.» Clearly she needs to learn to tell time. I can’t believe it. Then, the waiter was not personable at all, he was actually very rude. We then were served our food individually, with about 5 minute wait time in between each meal being served. Someone in our party dipped a French fry in sauce and a pubic hair came out with it. I wish I could attach the picture to this post to show proof. For the remainder of our experience, the wait staff was rude and rushed us out of there. The worst part: the waiter just asked us if we were 21, trying to act cool. One person at the table was only 19 and ordered a lemonade. This could cost them their business if he was served. Management clearly is not on their game. The only bright spot was the waiter in training, it was his first day. He was nice and friendly. If I were you, I would take a few extra minutes to pass this restaurant and find a different place to eat.

I am a devoted UNO fanatic and my partner and I have dined at countless of their locations being New England natives. Today it was our first time eating at the Boylston St restaurant and we had the best experience yet. We sat in the outside patio with our small dog and were served by Nathan(Nate) who’s service was HANDSDOWN absolutely exceptional! Although he appeared to be quite busy as he was handling both the bar as well as the indoor and outdoor seating sections he was extremely attentive, responsive and on top of it. He was very friendly, personable and efficient! The food was phenomenal and service was impeccable and by far the best we have ever received… To say the least. So THANKYOUNATE! Can’t wait to go back!
